Rocko's Cottage Nestled in the Heart of Downtown Bar Harbor
Rocko's Cottage est situé dans une rue latérale du centre-ville de la belle ville insulaire de Bar Harbor. Nous acceptons les animaux de compagnie pour vos amis à quatre pattes bien élevés. Rocko est en fait notre Dorkie de 7 lb. (Teckel / Yorkie)
Vous serez à distance de marche de plus de 25 restaurants allant de la gastronomie aux plats familiaux. La location de vélos, les excursions en kayak et les magasins uniques à gogo sont tous à quelques minutes de votre porte d'entrée et oui, nous pouvons vous dire lequel de ces endroits accueille les animaux domestiques. Parcourez le sentier côtier ou traversez un banc de sable naturel (en fait un dépôt glaciaire) pour visiter la magnifique île de Bar. Ne vous inquiétez jamais de garer votre voiture ou de prendre un cocktail puis de conduire.
Rocko's Cottage a été construit en 2005 et est meublé avec goût et confortablement. Vous y trouverez tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour profiter de votre séjour. La cuisine est équipée de toutes les nécessités de la vie et les draps sont tous en bon état. Le plan d'étage ouvert fait que notre chalet semble beaucoup plus grand à l'intérieur. Il faut noter que la salle de bain n'a pas de baignoire mais une belle douche de 4 pieds et pour votre commodité il y a une laveuse et une sécheuse superposables. C'est une grande maison et un emplacement idéal pour les personnes qui voyagent avec des animaux domestiques ou seulement un ou deux couples ou une petite famille qui veulent rester au cœur de la ville. Une fois que vous nous rendrez visite, vous serez sûr de revenir encore et encore.

Lovely, lovely, lovely. By far the best rental we have ever had the pleasure of calling home for a week. Impeccably clean, quality and comfort throughout, quiet neighborhood yet easily walkable to the center of town, hosts are welcoming and respond quickly to any questions you may have. The cottage was well stocked and clean. Very easy check in and check out. Location was the best feature. We could walk everywhere in BaR Harbor and not have to worry about parking.

Lisa and Rick's property is immaculate, modern and very convenient to Bar Harbor's downtown. The home has many thoughtful, homey touches, and the hosts provide plenty of laundry and dish detergent, coffee and linens. We would love to stay there again.

Owners were right there to greet us as we arrived and communication was excellent. Cottage was immaculately clean. Owners thought of every little thing needed for guests better than any VRBO I've stayed at in the past.
Everything in Bar Harbor was an easy walk from the cottage and we all slept like babies in comfort and silence.

We first visited Rocko's Cottage in 2017, and were excited to return! Lisa and Rick are responsive and gracious hosts, and the changes they have made in the cottage are wonderful enhancements. Cozy, quiet, comfortable, and convenient - walk only a few blocks and we were able both to stroll the Shore Path and to explore and dine throughout downtown Bar Harbor. A three mile drive brought us to the entrance to Acadia National Park and we enjoyed driving the Park Loop Road and getting out to see Thunder Hole (our dog Jake enjoyed this, too!) So once again we were grateful to be here - thank you, Lisa and Rick.

We had a great stay, the house was very comfortable and clean. The hosts were great and right next door if we needed anything. The location was perfect also, just a short walk to everything in Bar harbor.

This house was perfect for our family of 4. The house is cute and clean and has all the basics, making a longer stay easy (cooking supplies, laundry, etc.). The location is great because you are right outside the bustle of Bar Harbor but everything is an easy walk including downtown shops and the Shore Path (which is also helpful because you never have to pay to park). Also the park is right there so it’s also a great place to access all park points. We would totally go back!

The house was exceptionally clean and very comfortable. Close to attractions of town - walked everywhere. Entrance to shore path a couple blocks away.
Parking in front of entrance and very convenient. TV with Prime and Spectrum offered great choices for a cold, rainy afternoon.

The house is super clean, well stocked & so comfortable. The location is on a quiet side street but right next to downtown. So easy to walk to the Shore Path, to the athletic field, to all the shops, the harbor.

Myself, my daughter, my niece and her husband stayed here last week! It’s a very nice and fully equipped house! We had plenty of room and the entire house was spotless! Everything was so clean and beautifully decorated! Great location as we could walk to town for meals, for bike rental and even our boat tour! The owners are very nice as well! I loved staying here and would definitely stay again! Exceeded my expectations!

The house was great. We stayed there 5 years ago on our honeymoon. We stayed this week for our 5th anniversary and we plan on going back in another 5 years for our 10th. Very cute and clean house. We loved this house last year, so we decided to return for another visit this year. The house has everything we needed, including a great location. The house has all the essentials for cooking at home or it's close enough to walk to any of the great restaurants in town. We also loved being so close to the shore path. The house is very clean and the beds and furniture are nice and comfortable. It's the perfect cozy cottage!

My husband and I (and our dog, Joei) just loved our time in Rick and Lisa's cottage in Bar Harbor! It was probably one of the nicest vacation rental properties we've ever stayed at -- clean, comfortable and with so many amenities. I really loved that they supplied towels, linens and paper products. The house's location on a quiet side street was perfect; you're still in town within walking distance of so much but away from the crowds. I would recommend this property to anyone! Be sure to ask Lisa for recommendations for restaurants in town!

We just finished our 2 weeks at the house and everything was great. The house is in a perfect location for everything you want to do in Bar Harbor/ Acadia - short walk to the Shuttle, restaurants & shops. The owners, Lisa and Rick are great and are there if you need them. Definitely recommend.

A Gorgeous Home Away From Home
Lisa & Rick provide everything you would need for a comfortable stay in this little house. It really does look exactly like it is posted online - beautifully decorated. The furnishings are very very nice & good quality, the well-equipped kitchen is big enough to host a nice dinner, a washer & dryer are in unit, there is a little push button cast iron stove in the living room for cool evenings and two lovely bedrooms - one with a double bed & one with a king bed. This place is the absolute cleanest place we have ever had the pleasure of staying at. There are printed instructions in a notebook so you know exactly about the cottage that even includes recommendations for restaurants & activities. The cottage is in a nice quiet residential neighborhood, but it is only a few minute walk to the main street so you don't need to worry about trying to find a parking spot. Lisa & Rick (& two adorable little pups) are just about the nicest people you could ask for when renting a place in Bar Harbor. Probably the best place we have ever stayed at during our vacations. We give this place a 10+ rating.

Can't say enough good things about Lisa's rental and her skills as a perfect hostess. Cottage is adorable and very comfortable. Plenty of linens and all the supplies you need for the week. Will definetly rebook the cottage next time our vacation plans bring us to this pretty vacation village.
