Ce chalet spacieux est en retrait sur 0. 6 acres avec une vue magnifique sur la rivière Elizabeth, sur une péninsule isolée. C'est un endroit très spécial, unique, privé et confortable au bord de la rivière. La nouvelle véranda est un endroit merveilleux pour profiter de la chaleur du lever du soleil d'hiver. Nous offrons:
- Une belle maison propre au bord de l'eau
- Petit-déjeuner / café tout en regardant le lever du soleil sur le quai
- Internet WiFi et télévision par câble avec HBO
- Excellent système de haut-parleurs Bluetooth pour les films et la musique

Nous répondons très rapidement à vos demandes, dans un délai d'une heure. Nous louerions l'endroit à court terme en janvier et février. Nous avons aussi besoin d'une pause 😊.
L'intérieur du chalet a été récemment rénové avec une nouvelle cuisine et de nouveaux planchers. La cuisine est entièrement équipée avec une machine à café Keurig pour votre café ou thé du matin pour profiter du lever du soleil sur l'eau. Le petit déjeuner est fourni. Il y a une laveuse et une sécheuse dans la véranda pour la lessive de nos clients. Il y a beaucoup de parking à côté du chalet. Nous avons récemment fermé le porche arrière avec de nouvelles grandes fenêtres coulissantes. Nos clients peuvent désormais profiter de la belle vue sur l'eau pendant les mois les plus froids de la nouvelle belle véranda. Offrir un excellent service à nos clients est notre objectif principal. Nous avons travaillé dur pour rendre l’endroit de plus en plus agréable, améliorer le service pour rendre les séjours de nos clients plus mémorables et être toujours disponibles pour aider nos clients à répondre à toutes leurs préoccupations ou questions. Un séjour minimum de 2 nuits requis pour les locations de week-end et pour les longs week-ends de vacances, nous ne louons la place que pour tout le long week-end, du vendredi au lundi. Je vous remercie!

What a beautiful cottage on the Elizabeth River. The hosts Andy and Michael were amazing and thought of every single detail possible! We spent a lot of time on the deck viewing the water and even more time sitting in the sunroom! The fridge was stocked with drinks and snacks for us. The bathroom had any toiletry one could ask for! We absolutely loved the home!

My husband and I stayed at this cottage for our 10th wedding anniversary. We were met with such kindness by Andy and Michael upon arrival. The cottagw is clean and so relaxing. The provided snacks and drinks were a plus. The patio with reclining chairs was so relaxing and provided a wonderful view of the river with no issues from the weather. This home is small, but absolutely beautiful and perfect for two people. We will definitely be back!!

Cottage was very clean and lots of privacy. Relaxing sunroom with nice view of the river. Our host was very nice and provided great recommendations for things to do nearby. Easy walk to light rail station to get to downtown destinations.

The best vrbo we have stayed in! Andy is a gem! He met us with the warmest welcome and showed us around. Cottage has everything you need- stocked kitchen, shampoo/conditioner/soap, towels, blankets, cozy furniture, beautiful scenery, book of great recommendations! It was extremely clean and decorated so nicely! Perfect spot to take a book and read by the water or in the sunroom on colder days. Short drive to explore town! Easy check in/check out process and hosts communicate quickly! Can’t wait to come back!

This was a restful and wonderful getaway and this riverfront cottage was just the perfect place. Andy and Michael were the best and most responsive hosts and made sure we had everything we needed and checked in frequently to make sure we were enjoying our stay. We're looking forward going back again! 5 stars all the way!

Owners were super responsive prior to and during the visit. They take a lot of pride in the house. Lots of small extras like drinks in the fridge, snacks, toiletries, etc. the porch overlooking the river was so peaceful. They gave us great eating recommendations as well. I will absolutely rent from them again if we ever return.

Norfolk has so much to offer. Great restaurants…Codex and Crudo Nudo top our list. The cottage was so peaceful and relaxing. The pictures don’t do it justice. The thoughtful touches of fresh cut flowers and all the little details made it an absolutely perfect stay. Norfolk Beach is 20 minutes away and delightful. Clean, plenty of parking and public bathrooms. I can’t say enough good things about this trip. We loved this property and look forward to our next visit. Incredibly comfortable cottage.

Norfolk has so much to offer. Great restaurants…Codex and Crudo Nudo top our list. The cottage was so peaceful and relaxing. The pictures don’t do it justice. The thoughtful touches of fresh cut flowers and all the little details made it an absolutely perfect stay. Norfolk Beach is 20 minutes away and delightful. Clean, plenty of parking and public bathrooms. I can’t say enough good things about this trip. We loved this property and look forward to our next visit. Incredibly comfortable cottage.

Very relaxing
First of all a shout out to Mike and Andy, two very nice people that sincerely care about their guests. Very helpful, fast responding host who will give you a personal tour and make sure everything meets your satisfaction. The cottage itself is very nice, super clean and comfortable. Nice furniture, really nice bed, very well stocked kitchen and a wonderful porch with comfy chairs and a great view of the river. The location is convenient to downtown Norfolk, you can walk to the Light rail which is a train like public transportation that will take you right downtown in about 15 minutes. Don't worry about Interstate 264 we never heard it from the inside of the cottage, very peaceful sleeping. You can hear cars from the deck in the daytime but its not a big deal. I cant say enough good things about this property and the hosts, it was just perfect for our needs, we hope to stay again then next time we visit our daughter in Norfolk!

King’s cottage was an excellent choice! Andy is a top notch host. I greatly appreciated all the little things. The cottage is serene; an excellent place for rest and restoration. Go with Andy’s recommendation for dinner at El Rodeo, but watch out for that Texas Margarita! We look forward to future visits.

Best VRBO experience yet
No other words - BEST experience; quiet, cozy, private, and relaxing. The absolute perfect spot to get out of the craziness of life, but still be close enough to enjoy fancy restaurants for a night out. 10/10 recommend.

Nice cozy cottage
Great time at this tucked away cottage by the water. Close enough to downtown for lunch and dinner while having some privacy and seclusion when needed. Hosts were amazing and checkin was nice and easy. Plenty of amenities stocked up and quality linens. Overall great stay that we’d recommend for other couples looking for a few days of relaxation.

Best of Norfolk in 3 days
The sunroom detained us for a much needed rest before heading to the hosts' favorite restaurant for lunch-- and then the recliners reclaimed us once again. Day two was for our all-day visit to the Chrysler Museum. Caught the big new exhibit, excellent Grab-and-go lunch, and then submerged ourselves in the superb glass collection. Day three was warmer so we hiked through the short trails of the Back Bay Natl. Wildlife Refuge to see tundra swans, great blue heron signs of bobcats.
A wonderful time in the beautiful King's Cottage thanks to our thoughtful hosts.

We had an amazing getaway! The cottage was so cute, quaint and perfect!
The weather turned out cold and rainy some of the weekend but the sunroom on the back porch was PERFECT!! As mentioned in other reviews, it was about a 5 minute walk to the light rail station and we took it to the waterfront for dinner. It was perfect.
The patio/deck was perfect to have dinner and wine when the weather warmed up. And Andy and Mike were the perfect hosts!!

We had an amazing getaway! The cottage was so cute, quaint and perfect!

Perfect Getaway on the Water
Although we had a major mishap with our vehicle when we arrived, the hosts were incredibly generous with support, including lending us their car to get around! Gratefully, we were staying in a beautiful cottage where we could relax in the sunroom, watching sunrises and sunsets, sit on the pier and even fish a bit. I wish we could have stayed longer. I'd give it 6 stars, if possible. We hope to return again this summer!
