We had a wonderful time in this house enjoying its location on the beach and close to canal park. The owner was very easy to communicate with and the house had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again!

Everything about this stay was good from the moment we walked in & saw the incredible view up to the day we had to leave. The house was clean & comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked & had nice appliances. Bathrooms also well stocked & the downstairs shower with the extra jets was awesome. The bedrooms were quiet & comfortable. We used the fireplace in the living room each night. The deck in the backyard was nice in the morning with the sunshine. Great proximity to the lift bridge & across to Canal Park where we watched several ships coming & going. Would definitely return for another stay!

We had a wonderful stay. The Beach House was immaculately clean and had everything we needed. Communication was quick and helpful (the owner stopped by to drop off new batteries for a smoke alarm when notified it was beeping.) We spent loads of time on the beach and walked to the lift bridge to view ships coming into port. We also enjoyed a Fooseball/Air Hockey tournament before we left and made many wonderful memories with the kiddos!

This was our fourth consecutive winter trip to the beach house. It’s always spotless and manages to be both cozy & more than spacious enough for two of us. Heather and Steve are always kind and responsive owners… they left me a birthday card 🙂 Come for the sauna, stay for the sauna.

Great view of Lake Superior, beach access steps away, short walk to Canal Park. Clean, comfortable, and cozy house. Hosts are easily reached and quick to respond to any questions. I’ve stayed in this house 4 times and have never been dissatisfied.

It felt really cozy in the house and it's well equipped. Kitchen had everything I needed for a lasagna dinner and Caesar salad (Christmas dinner). We enjoyed a sauna, the fireplace and a great windy, rainy walk on the beach.

Property was as advertised. Well stocked with everything needed in kitchen, as well as towels and linens. Heather was very easy to communicate with, and accommodating. Location of house is convenient to the event center, shopping and restaurants on S. Lake rd. Also easy drive to downtown. If you like to watch the maritime traffic entering and laving Duluth the location is once again ideal.

Our kids love this trip so much and it just gets better every year. We’ve stayed here many Novembers and it’s one of our favorite rental properties. The view is incredible and the kids are old enough now to really appreciate the air hockey and foos ball. Many of our favorite memories have been made here, thank you!

Awesome access to the shores of Lake Superior and walking distance to shops, restaurants, and more. The house is equipped with everything you need and hassle free. We had a ball looking through all the old VHS tapes!!

This place was a perfect fit for the 3 of us. 2 bed and 2 bath. As a added bonus the beds were very comfortable. The bathrooms were well appointed. I especially enjoyed the walk-in shower. The beauty of having a house is having a livingroom to relax and visit in the evening. This living room was cozy and comfortable. The kitchen was very modern and had anything you might need to cook a wonderful meal. Although with so many good restraunts so close, I never cooked while there. My favorite part of the house was looking out the back windows in the morning onto the lake. Every morning there would be ships anchored on lake, waiting there turn under the lift bridge. One morning there were two surfers in wet suits waiting for a wave. When we got tthis place i was worried about getting in and out of the city. We planned on going up the north shore everyday site seeing. To my delight it was easy in and easy out. I 35 was just a couple of blocks off Canal St. That connected right to hwy 61. We loved this place. How clean and modern it was. We are thinking about a trip back in the summer.

This was our 2nd stay. We love the location and took many walks to the beach and into town. We at at the Dublin, OMC and Uncle Al's cafe. Took a train ride and visited several museums. We will be back next year.

Great location!! It was very windy during out stay but still had the opportunity to walk the beach and see a beautiful sunrise. Would definitely stay there if I was in the area

We love this house on the beach, with its amazing view of the lake from the kitchen. The kitchen is well stocked and we love the selection of old videos and puzzles. And, of couse, the foosball and airhockey is a favorite. Thank you so much!

This home was amazing and perfect for our three week stay! Comfortable with fun amenities like the air hockey and a beautiful location right on the beach and close to canal park. The hosts were great communicators and so accomodating. We hope to be able to stay here again! I cannot say enough good things about it!

Loved it!! House is right on the lake and a short walk over the historic Aerial Lift Bridge to a wonderful area.. Canal Park is an great area with restaurants/pubs, theater, park, walkways along the lake and watching the giant tankers come through to the largest freshwater port in the world is a daily fun event! Also a place to start an awesome lake shore drive up the North Shore to many really cool spots!!

Loved the location. It was close to everything we wanted in Duluth but not right downtown. The sauna was amazing! We were very pleased with the quality of the kitchen utensils, especially the fact that there were stainless steel pans, not just non-stick, and a cheese shredder, zester, and some other utensils that are commonly not provided at other VRBO we have stayed at. There was also basic spices like salt and pepper. We would definitely book this again for a Duluth area vacation.

The house was perfect for our winter sojourn in Duluth. It’s a small house but the open concept with large windows on both ends made it into a sunny, cozy space throughout the day. We also very much enjoyed the sauna, fireplace, and view of the lake. It.s a great location with easy access to the beach and a short walk to Canal Park. If you dress for the weather, Duluth is a great place to be in the winter. We explored several of the hiking trails and did a little cross country skiing while using the home for the pursuit of some professional projects. We would love to come back here in the summer or fall.

Third time's a charm! Actually, all three visits here have been charming, wonderful, and problem-free. This is our third consecutive winter trip to the beach house, where we operate out of for our snow shoeing adventures up and down the shore. The owners keep a spotless, comfortable, well-appointment (yet not pretentious) space to relax in. The sauna is chef's kiss--clean & perfectly functioning. We also love the kitchen--we cook all our meals (Duluth has an indy food coop that punches way above its weight)--and it's a great space w/everything we need plus a view of the lake. What can we say? We keep coming back! Julie and Lauri
