Situé à environ 1 heure de Charlotte, Greensboro, Winston Salem et High Point. Ce coin de paradis est tout simplement parfait pour des vacances petite famille, anniversaire, escapade 'amis ou de retraite de pêche.
Maître avec un lit queen et petite 2ème chambre avec lits superposés. Grande mise en page pour un couple ou les familles de 4. (Lits pour 4 adultes). Un grand porche fermé avec des ventilateurs de plafond et un mobilier confortable sert de deuxième salon donnant sur le lac et la forêt nationale d'Uwharrie. Demandez si vous avez un enfant en tant que cinquième invité / addtl 25 / nt. Le nombre maximum d'invités autorisé est de 4 (jour ou nuit). Invités du jour avec approbation préalable. Pas de politique PETS.
Un quai et les étapes menant à l'eau sont commodes pour prendre un bain frais. Apportez votre bateau ou jet ski et profiter de la pêche et de la sérénité de 115 miles du rivage du lac. Le quai a de la place pour un bateau ou un jet-ski pour amarrer et accéder à l'eau profonde.

Beautiful view, cozy and inviting, quiet and peaceful place to stay

Traveled from NW PA for a wedding in Albemarle. Location was about 30-40 mins from the wedding venue, Il Bella Gardens. Property was excellent for the 3 of us. Able to enjoy the canoe & kayaks as well as swimming off the dock. My wife loved the screened patio overlooking the lake. Very peaceful & tranquil location. Cottage was very well appointed & the furniture & beds were very comfortable. Really enjoyed the stay & much more comfortable than staying at a near by hotel.

My husband and his fishing buddy have stayed here multiple times and always have a great time. The house is clean and has everything they could need. The location is convenient and they're able to dock their fishing boat at the house. This year my husband caught his biggest catfish ever from the dock. They will definitely stay here again in the future!

This place never disappoints. We always arrive at night but in the morning when the sun rises over that private lake view it takes your breath away. It’s such an oasis with everything you need for a relaxing trip, and I know we will be back again.

Many properties on the lake are jammed together. If you look at the satellite view you will see this property is private. Also it is at a location on the lake with views of natural, undeveloped islands. So serene and peaceful that you do not want to leave!
The back screened in porch is large and luxurious. We spent as much time as possible out there. Fans and a propane heater make it great no matter what the temp.
The master is spacious. The second room has space for a queen against the wall and not much else. Comfortable bed and bedding with both rooms though.
The house is beautifully decorated, yet cozy and practical.
We are already thinking of a repeat visit.

We rented the house as it was close to the Jeep Jamboree. Everything was as promised. Nice 2-bedroom and 2-bath house with a wonderful screened in porch and comfy chairs on the dock. It was well furnished and very clean. Everything we needed was provided. Would definitely stay again next year if we attend.

The view is absolutely amazing. We enjoyed our time and made amazing memories. The house was just as shown in the photos and we could not have been more pleased. The house was decorated in a way that made you feel relaxed & at home. I loved the wooded lot on either side of the house & all the beautiful landscape. We spent many afternoons on the screened porch watching the birds & squirrels. We ventured over to the the island in the canoe/kayak to fish and explore. The dock was a great spot to fish & relax. Had everything we needed. Loved our stay! Thank you for the memories.

Stayed for 3 nights, and absolutely loved the property! I hardly never left the pier. Our family loves to fish, and we caught several the entire trip. If you happen to forget anything, I would bet a hundred dollar bill, the house has it. Loved the screened in deck overlooking lake with the breeze. I'm a straight shooter, and I can't find one negative thing to say. Just wished the place was mine!

My husband and his fishing buddy had a great time staying here. The house has everything they needed and more. It's close to the marina so they could easily put in his boat and drive it to the house. The fishing from the dock was great (they raved about a few memorable mornings) and they also had a lot of success fishing the shoreline from the boat when they went out. I think they spent more time outside than inside but they had nothing but positive things to say about the property. They thoroughly enjoyed their trip!

My family recently enjoyed a wonderful stay at this property. The home was charming, the kitchen supplies were plentiful, the hot tub was prepped for us and provided an amazing view of the lake, which absolutely made the trip. The private dock is as described - very private, in excellent shape, and is a perfect launching spot for the 2 kayaks and 1 canoe on property. Strangely, there was a pontoon parked at our slip during the stay that looked like it had not been used in quite some time. Dollar stores rule the day as there are 2 of them within 10 minutes of the house, with 2 more opening this summer/fall. Additional retail adn commercial options are fairly close at 15-20 minutes away, including a tasty Chinese restaurant, the expansive NC Zoo, and the pottery capital of the U.S. In addition to the 2 beds, there is a VERY large sectional available as a 3rd sleeping option. This is actually where I slept and it was quite nice with the view of the lake. What the home lacks in a large private bathroom (the main master en suite does not have a separate door from the bedroom door, is made up in wireless fan/light technology! We even got to witness a heron finishing off a kill in our backyard. You won't be dissappointed.

We were looking for a private and relaxing fishing trip, everything was great, neighbors greeted us from the lake, the house was very welcoming also, had No problems, and fishing was awesome, my son made a statement "This is the best fishing experience I've ever had, .Renting this HOME was a plus in my book of rental lake properties.

Our stay was nothing short of magical. The home is beautiful and comfortable. We felt welcomed and at home immediately. The view of Badin Lake and the Uwharries was breathtaking from every angle, whether you were in the home, in the beautiful screened in room, or down at the docks. We will be return which I think is the highest rating one can give! The owners take pride in this property and it shows.

Beautiful views, cozy cottage, lovely hosts!! An enchanting quiet stay on the lake. The lake feels like a room in the perfectly appointed house - it's visible from all the common areas! Many hours on the back porch taking it all in. Kay and Russ are friendly and thoughtful hosts.

We had 2 days of sunny, warm weather and 2 colder, cloudy days, but we didn't care. We were livin' on the porch rain or shine, savoring the wonderful view. The birds & squirrels entertained us all day. We'll be back!

Spectacular view from the screened-in porch with nothing in view except water, islands of ancient mountains and great blue herons. Sitting on the pier and relaxing with the slow movement of the ripples until the sunset is visible over the lake and beyond the distant mountains was an evening pleasure. There was very little boat traffic and almost no jet skis in early November. The house was very nice, clean, spacious and filled with all of the comforts a home should have. All beautiful landscaping, green grass, lots of outdoor sitting spaces, hot tub time machine that takes you to that relaxing zone. No complaints here, just peace and quiet and relaxation. Wish I was there now.

My family has been traveling to the mountains for the past few years for our Thanksgiving vacation. This year we decided on a lake house.
The Badin Lake house was the perfect choice. From the ease of check-in to the mesmerizing lake views this place is perfect. Everything was so clean, cozy and comfortable, even down to the organic bamboo sheets on the bed (which I immediately purchased as soon as I got home! Lol) they even have a sound machine, which is a must for me to sleep! We made wonderful memories here and will definitely be back! 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ all around!

I cannot put into words how amazing this property is. From the hot tub, canoes, fishing, kitchen, screened in porch, TV’s…we didn’t go anywhere all weekend. This was the best trip we’ve had. The host was amazing. Very responsive and so nice. We felt right at home. We cannot wait to return!

We are from Wisconsin and after hours and hours of decision making this is the VRBO we decided to choose out of many states.. The road trip was long, beautiful and tiring. When we got here however it made it all worth it! We stayed for just 3 nights but they were wonderful!! It was extremely hot and we spent the majority of time in the lake. Any questions or concerns were immediately answered, and always in a kind manner. It was hard to leave the day of checkout because of how relaxing and fun the time was! The lake is busy but the property makes it not feel that way! If we ever end up in NC again we know where we will be staying!!! Also don’t forget to say hi to the lizards, so very sweet!

SPECTACULAR in everyway!!!!
What a beautiful piece of heaven!! From the moment we walked in, we felt relaxed and so very welcome. The homeowners have gone to great lengths to make every detail 5 star perfect. From the fresh cut flowers in each room, luxurious bedding and bath towels to the well stocked kitchen, nothing has been overlooked. Beautifully furnished, right out of a magazine! You immediately feel the love and care Russ and Kay have for this property.
The week we were there, we had summertime thunderstorms almost every afternoon. We didnt mind at all. We watched the rain and lighting from the screen porch. It was PERFECT!!!

Relaxation Maximization
This was a much needed vacation for us and it did not disappoint! The house was great - ease of use two thumbs up. The lake and views were just magical and helped all our stresses melt away. There are neighbors but we couldn’t see them from anywhere in the house, porch/deck or backyard so we felt very secluded and were able to fully relax. The neighborhood is nice for a walk/run. Grocery stores are a bit of a drive but if you plan accordingly it doesn’t matter bc you can have everything you need at the house with just one trip. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking/grilling and I was comfortable with using the items provided as they were all in good condition and well maintained. I also had the best sleep this week out of the whole year and find myself wishing for the pillows. A+ for mattress, bed linens and pillows. We will definitely stay here again. Do yourself a favor and stop looking for places…book this one!

An oasis of peace and beauty
Kay and Russ have created a true oasis of peace, and we soaked up every second of our time in their lovely home. As big nature lovers, their view and the wildlife were exacting the rejuvenating experience we were hoping for. The fog blowing over the lake as the sun came up was just amazing. Every detail has been considered- the birds in to watch from the deck, the sculpture in the yard, the fabulously comfortable furniture everywhere -porch, dock, living room sofa, bed.. Slice of heaven!
If I could offer more stars, I would. This getaway was perfect. Once you arrive, there is no reason to leave and you wouldn't want to anyway. The lake views and views of the Uhwarries are unforgettable. The house is peaceful, private and so well-appointed. The house was clean, (like, remarkably clean, inside and out), with every comfort and necessity thought of. The Myers were gracious and friendly. I try to vacation as much as I can and have never returned to any place twice just because I love to experience different places. But, that's ending now and I can't wait to return!
