Cette maison se trouve sur un beau terrain au bord du lac Badin avec une jetée parfaite pour les plaisanciers et les pêcheurs. Avec une table de pique-nique au bord de l'eau et de nombreux sièges au bord du lac, la famille ne voudra pas entrer.
Le rez-de-chaussée est comme neuf, avec des améliorations magnifiquement rénovées. Avec la chambre principale dotée d'un lit king-size et d'une salle de bains attenante, réveillez-vous le matin avec vue sur l'eau de votre chambre. La chambre d'hôtes (avec un lit queen) comprend une porte donnant sur le porche enveloppant où vous pouvez boire votre café pendant que vous profitez de la vue depuis l'une des nombreuses chaises à bascule donnant sur le lac.
Descendez les escaliers pour les quartiers des enfants avec une cuisine complète et une chambre d'hôtes avec deux lits jumeaux et des lits gigognes, qui peut accueillir 4! En bas est également un espace de divertissement pour les enfants avec une télévision grand écran et un système de jeux.

My family and I wanted to spend the Thanksgiving break playing in uwharrie on our toys and wanted a nice, clean and relaxing spot to spend time. House was just what we needed. Great views of the water, plenty of things to do at the house, close to the trails at uwharrie and everything and more than we needed for our stay. Lots of extra thoughts put into this vrbo by the owners made us put this on our list of places to return to!

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Tammy’s lake house. The house was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. The lake was fabulous and Tammy was able to recommend a boat rental which was an added bonus for our stay. We will definitely be back and would highly recommend the property to others!

We stay in a lot of rentals and this was by far the cleanest property we’ve ever stayed at. The hosts were very welcoming and responsive and it felt like a home. The views were exceptional, especially sunsets.

The Lakefront Getaway was everything we had hoped for and more! The house is beautifully decorated with special touches everywhere. It is very clean and comfortable. The view of the lake from the house is amazing and the sunsets are absolutely spectacular. It was so relaxing to sit in the rocking chairs on the deck and watch the gorgeous sunsets. The host was so responsive and easy to communicate with. You truly need to experience this lakefront home to understand how special it is. It is really a wonderful place and definitely the best vacation rental we've every rented. Many thanks to Tammy and Paul for opening up this special home for others to experience.

I would like to say that my family had the best vacation ever at this lake house.This house had everything any games kids wanted to play,they swam and fished all day long.We had to stay an extra night because we had so much fun.We definitely book again hopefully it will be for two weeks next trip. Perfect Lake Getaway
This was the perfect place for our family to relax and enjoy time on the lake. Owners were great and quick to communicate. House was in great shape and looked newly remodeled. We loved the easy access to the main channel and a 10 min boat ride to Scallywags. We will be booking again!

We just had an amazing experience with this home and host! Excellent communication and an excellent home that was super clean and well maintained. The listing was 100% accurate and everything was exactly as described. The location of the house is perfect and the use of the kayak and canoe were very much appreciated. Inside the home was beautifully decorated and the beds, linens and towels were of high quality!

Host is incredibly responsive. Very organized, clean, thorough, details attended to. Close to boat ramp. One of the best in terms of a well stocked kitchen for a rental we’ve seen. Very comfortable beds. No complaints. Highly recommend.

Very Comfortable Home - Amazing Hosts!
Our family completely enjoyed our stay. The Host family has gone out of their way to provide "little touches" that make staying easy and comfortable. The home is very neat, clean, well maintained, and "up to date" with fixtures and appliances that one would use in their own home - and everything worked ;-)

Raises the bar on lake rentals
I think this house has spoiled us forever -- it was by far the cleanest, most well-stocked house we've ever stayed in. I would definitely suggest hitting the grocery store before you get close to town, because there's not one super close by, but if you forget pretty much anything else you will find it neatly tucked away in a cute guest basket somewhere.
There were eight of us traveling together (4 adults, 4 kids), and the layout of the house was perfect since we could send the kids downstairs to play Pac-Man while the adults hung out upstairs on the deck. Outside, we loved having a small grassy area for the kids to play on, but most of our time was spent playing in the water or lounging on the dock. Highly recommend this house.

Amazing Experience - Once in a Lifetime Surprise
This was the 20th anniversary for me and my best friend coming to the Uwharrie area. Ironically, my best friend and I took our first trip on 9/11 when in college. The trip was planned back in 2001 - what happened that day changed the world forever. Despite the chaos, we decided to still take the trip and get away. Everything in Wilmington was closed due to the attack. We have been visiting Uwharrie ever since. This also was to celebrate me turning the big 40. My wife and best friend surprised me with a reunion at your VRBO. I was speechless, the place is amazing. I watched the video of the surprise 40 times last night. Your home is immaculate. Massive and wonderful in every single way. The house has everything, my daughter called it a mansion. The time we had this week and past weekend will be forever close in my heart as one of the most amazing trips I have ever taken. Not a single thing was out of place and the extras are endless! Thank you - We all loved your gorgeous home on the most beautiful lake in the Carolinas.

Lakefront Getaway is a clean, well-appointed, comfortable, roomy, and beautifully decorated vacation house! Our family only stayed 3 nights but we wish we could have stayed a week. We primarily communicated with Tammy and she couldn't have been nicer. If you are looking for a 3 BR on the lake - I strongly recommend this property!

Could Not Have Been better!
We read all the excellent reviews prior to our week at the Lakefront Getaway and now add ours to the others. Everything was exceptional - the setting, the hospitality of the owners, the condition of the lake house/furnishings and all other amenities were excellent. And, last but not least the sunsets, which were truly spectacular. It was an enjoyable and memorable vacation. Sincere thanks to the Heaton family for sharing their beautiful lake front home with us. Perfect Family Getaway
We picked this house to be suitable for my parents who have a hard time with stairs. It was perfect for them, because they stayed on the main floor with access to everything they needed. We all spent a lot of time on the back porch overlooking the lake, but it was close enough to the water that they could watch us and the kids swimming and fishing. The house was extremely clean with all required accommodations and more. I love that each bedroom has it's own bathroom. The kitchen was well-stocked and the dining table was large enough for all 8 of us to eat together. We are all already missing this place and each other, and we will definitely look at booking this same house for next year's vacation. My only regret is that we didn't book it for longer. Big thanks to the Heatons (owners of the property) for their hospitality and responsiveness. Thank you for such a memorable vacation!

Lake bliss
My family had one of the best vacations ever! This was the perfect getaway for us. We were on the most beautiful Lake Badin with amazing views from the house. The house was immaculate and they literally thought of everything if you happened to forget an item. Tammy is the kindest property owner, welcomed us with special treats and called to make sure we arrived without issue. The kids loved the game room with Pac Man (so did I!). We did not want to leave....what more can one say!

Lake getaway
The house has an amazing view. Owners left a small gift for our kids which was completely unexpected but very sweet Owners leave disposable items ( soap, shampoo, facial cleanser, etc) that you may forget to pack. Cleaning supplies were provided so I didn’t have to use my own. We especially appreciated having games and activities for younger kids. Dock was beautifully maintained. New swing nears the water big enough for a family of four to sit and watch the lake. The entire house was extremely clean. I also appreciate that they had Citronella candles for outside use to keep away mosquitos. I can tell that the owners but a lot of thought into what renters need and want. This place felt like a home away from home.
