The whole family really enjoyed our stay in this cozy home. Some of us fished. Some took advantage of the kayaks. Others just enjoyed the view from the awesome deck. The owners anticipated everything you could possibly need. Hope to visit again.

First time at Badin Lake. My mom and I stayed here in early September. Dianne was a great host and responded to our one question promptly. The house is 4 bedrooms on the main floor with a full bath on each floor (1 bath downstairs in the basement, washer/dryer down there too). 2 kayaks (guessing 8 ft) and lots of water toys (paddle board too). Everything in the main floor is updated (including downstairs bath). Another review noted the upstairs toilet is close to the shower but it did not bother us (I am 5'10"). The screened-in porch was lovely for having our meals (also a dining table in the house) and sun protection. The furniture on the dock was new and so comfy. There is some shade on the dock during late morning and later in the afternoon which is nice. There are 4 ways into the water. It is beneficial to wear swim shoes to get in and out of the water, but not necessary. We loved the house and are already planning to go back a couple times next year during the swimming season.

The house and location did not disappoint. We had all we needed for a beautiful weather weekend in the comforts of home away from home and on the lake. Thank you!

My family and I had a good time. The house is very nice and clean. Kitchen is very nice, well stocked and lots of counter space. Love the big window over kitchen sink. Big showers in both bathrooms. Lots of seating in living room. Boat dock is very nice and loved jet ski ramp!

We could not have been happier with our stay. The house was well stocked. There was an absolutely beautiful screened in porch with great views. We rented a pontoon and really enjoyed Badin Lake. I would not hesitate to stay at this home again.

I've stayed there 4 times. Tells you something.

The only complaint I have with this place is the main toilet is really close to the walk in shower door making it a little tricky for us larger folks. The other bathroom was downstairs. The kitchen is well equipped and clean. The whole house was clean and felt new somehow.

A great place to stay where we could visit the NC Zoo in the morning and play in the lake in the afternoon.

This house has a wonderful screened in porch, great view, beautifully updated fireplace, and is in a great location! We will be back!

We had a wonderful time. It was perfect to get away for my Wife and I along with some friends. The views of the lake are just stunning! What a beautiful location and a wonderful house.

Great place to stay.

Very good property. Location by lake was great. Rooms were adequate. Facilities were adequate. One problem: The owner left the wrong size of sheet and fitted sheet for the king size bed in the bedroom overlooking the Lake and opening to the back porch. Otherwise, we had an excellent time.

I don't think we could have found a better location or a better rental. Everything was perfect and immaculate, the rooms were spacious and comfortable. The upstairs bathroom was a little tight on leg room but we made do. The downstairs bathroom is larger. We thoroughly enjoyed the screened-in porch and it made the stay even nicer since the first day was raining. We had breakfast lunch and dinner out on the porch and even had a picnic on the dock. The Sun rises were absolutely wonderful to experience on the very comfortable screened in porch! I'm an avid bird watcher and was not disappointed with the birds. There was even a beautiful blue heron that graced us with its presence strolling around the dock and the backyard! The open floor plan was perfect. Being able to prepare meals and still be a part of conversations with the family was wonderful. The kitchen was very well equipped which was very nice. There is no way that anybody could get bored if weather was not conducive to be outside with the variety of games or books or TV choices to choose from. Host was very helpful and genuinely nice. The only negative thing was that our schedules did not permit us to stay longer! Definitely plan on staying again!

We couldn't have asked for our stay to go any better. Perfect, quiet location (not a ton of boat traffic). A little dated, but very clean. We would definitely stay here again!

Had a wonderful time on the lake with family! The home is very comfortable and has all the necessities to accommodate your crowd for a great time. Great lake view and location on Badin Lake. Highly recommend!

The house is comfortable. We cook and they had most all we needed. Two things to note, upstairs bathroom is tiny. The shower is nice but the space between the toilet and shower is too small even for me at 5 foot but especially for my 6"4" husband. The other is the the dock. The dock is new and beautiful and we caught a ton of fish from it including a large mouth bass. Getting in and out of the water however is a struggle, no matter if it is from the stairs, the ramp, or the ladder all are so slick and the ladders are just boards which are hard on the feet. That said we really enjoyed the location. See saw bald eagles, lots of herons and more loons than we could ever count especially on the little island across the way. We don't recommend the pontoon rental with old navy, it's super close but boat was really old and destroyed, so we shortened the rental a lot. Food was good at the restaurant next door and convenient. We would come back!

Property was great for our group of two families. Everything was as described and clean. Will definitely rent again.

The property was clean and the kitchen was reasonably stocked with all needed items. All linens and bath supplies were provided. Multiple beach toys were provided for the kids as well as kayaks and a paddle board. The dock was great. I had to dock my boat on the outer side, but there were plenty of bumpers provided and not a lot of boat traffic, so it wasn't an issue. A private boat launch and fuel facilities are available two doors away. My grandchildren enjoyed fishing off the dock. There was plenty of space to park my boat trailer on the property. Having the second bathroom in the basement was a little different, but turned out to work well for when my son and family visited and used the beach. Great place! Will consider staying again in the future.

The experience was great it was everything we were hoping for

This house is like being in your home away from home. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking with lots of extras like cleaning supplies and kitchen towels. The home is comfortable and in a great location near a boat ramp. The beach area was perfect for the grandkids. We’ve already booked for next year!

We had two families and had plenty of room. The owners were very responsive to questions. Well stocked kitchen, lots of water tubes and toys to use. Great screened in porch, nice new dock. We had a great time and would def consider renting again.

Badin Lake is a great place just to relax, The views from the house are lovely and a perfect way to start the day with a morning cup of coffee on the deck or dock. highly recommended

Photos do not do this property justice, bathrooms kitchen upgraded, brand new dock and yard make for a wonderful stay. Next to a restaurant with decent food and entertainment. We will hopefully be back soon!

Great home and location for our family. The porch and dock were amazing!

We really enjoyed our stay over our kid's spring break. We had 4 adults and 6 kids total and fit nicely in the 4 rooms. We wish the 2nd bathroom would have been upstairs but we're still grateful it was there and it wasn't a big inconvenience for the older kids to use the downstairs bathroom. The new dock was SO nice and our kids spent the majority of our stay fishing and jumping off the deck. Having a restaurant within walking distance (Scallywags at the marina) was an added bonus as were the kayaks, paddles and life jackets.

I was very pleased with the house and beautiful views. It was very clean and well stocked. The dock was really nice with plenty of room for fishing and relaxing. Would definitely recommend this property! Very friendly owners. Got right back to me everytime I texted.
