Good location, comfortable and clean

From check-in to check-out my stay was amazing! The property manager is very easy to communicate with and always has an answer to your question. I work in the area, but was looking for a little getaway with my dog and not have to deal with city traffic. This studio allows you to tour EVERYTHING by foot, bike, or scooter. They have city rental scooters and bikes very close if you do not have your own. This studio apartment location is simply amazing and I highly recommend. The apartment was clean, close to everything, and the property manager was outstanding.

Great location. All surfaces were clean but lots of spiderwebs on ceiling. Fan over bed did not work. Bathroom could use a shelf.

This is a great unit in the Capitol Hill/Eastern Market area. We love this neighborhood. Clean, comfortable modernized studio. Quiet neighborhood. Easy access to everything. Hosts were great communicators and answered all our questions ahead of visit. Will stay here and with this companies properties again in future!

The apartment is small but really comfortable. The location is stunning. One of the most beautiful neighborhoods in the city near coffee shops, restaurants, parks. Highly recommend for a single person or couple exploring the city or in DC for work.

Whether my family was scootering around the mall or out seeing the blooming cherry blossoms, the whole time we were eager to get back “home” to our getaway on East Capitol Street. We enjoyed having useful appliances like the oven to bake brownies in along with some home-cooked meals, and the TV that allows streaming from any device so we could watch West Wing on the TV, streaming from one of our phones. One of my children spent the week painting and writing poetry in the gorgeous front yard at the table and chairs provided, while my other kids were able to get their online school done because of the strong WiFi connection. We will definitely be coming back!

We really enjoyed our stay in this well cared for property. It’s a great neighborhood with an easy walk to restaurants, museums, the Mall and Supreme Court. They thought of everything in this apartment. It’s very clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend for anyone visiting Washington D.C.

My family and I loved our recent stay in DC and this property played a huge part in that. Easy walking distance to the Capitol and Mall/Museums, beautiful historic neighborhood, and 2 convenience stores on the block. The unit was clean and comfortable and Brian provided prompt communication throughout the stay. Highly recommended!

What a great place for a weekend getaway! Easy walking distance to the Capitol, Library of Congress, the Folger Theater, and plenty else! There's even a corner market nearby for food and sundries you may need. The property is clean and well maintained and the customer service is great with quick responses to all our questions. Will recommend to others looking to make a trip to D.C.

Best ever -- my husband and I have stayed at several properties in the Capitol Hill area -- this by far has surpassed all the others. Sunny, spotless and just three blocks from the Capitol! This area and nearby Eastern Market offers conveniences, great food resources, restaurants and dining options. The front garden was lovely and I am envious of the spectacular Japanese maple. The evenings were quiet and tranquil -- all within blocks of the Folger Library and Library of Congress -- and easy access to the metro. We will go back. I have no reservations about recommending this property to anyone who is visiting the area. The management is responsive and takes scrupulous care of the property. Staying here was a joy and contributed to our best visit ever.

Just 3 or 4 short blocks from the non-Mall side of the Capitol. Great neighborhood with convenience store and pharmacy very close. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Easy walk to the Mall. A great location for 2 or 3 people. 4 might be crowded. Perfect for my visit. Communication with rental managers/owner was perfect, no issues. Quiet area. The unit had everything we needed for our 2 night visit. I felt like a local.

We had a wonderful experience staying here. You just aren't going to do any better for a comfortable place that is in the Capitol Hill neighborhood. The apartment still has the higher ceilings from the past, beautiful wood floors, and full size appliances in the kitchen area. The climate control worked fine, the shower had loads of pressure and hot water. And, it was honestly one of, if not THE cleanest places we've ever stayed at. The only issue I had, and it wasn't even an issue, is the motion detector light kept going on and off on side of house, and I was somewhat aware of this while sleeping. The shade in window is not a true blackout shade, so, if you're a light sleeper, bring yourself an eye mask. Our dog enjoyed his stay too, by the way. There was lots of stuff for him to sniff during his walks :) The Capitol Building is literally just down the street, and there are all of the conveniences we needed within an easy walk. We found street parking right in front of the house, and as it was a weekend, we did not have to move the vehicle once we were parked. We did have a small challenge hunting down a store that sells liquor - I wanted Baileys for coffee :) but we eventually found a place open on Pennsylvania Ave that is open until 9pm on Saturday (FYI) . We look forward to staying here again, and recommend it wholeheartedly.

Great location. Convenient to so much stuff. My only regret is that I didn't take advantage of the bike rental. Super place to come home to after a day of walking The Mall.

It is VERY close to the Library of Congress, Supreme Court and Capitol building. There is a rental bike rack 20 feet from the front door and DC is very bike friendly. Renting a bike and riding it down to the rack by the Natural History Museum is quick, easy, cheap and saves some wear and tear on your feet. There is also a bus called the Circulator that runs around the Mall area and is also super cheap and easy to use. Brian helped us secure parking because there aren't many parking options in the neighborhood. He answered questions right away and I'm sure if we had any issues they would have been addressed in a timely manner. For example, I asked if I needed to pack a blow dryer while we were packing and he answered within an hour (and yes you do need to byobd). The neighborhood is super safe and beautiful and dog friendly. We loved our stay!

My wife, daughter and dog recently stayed here. We were looking for a hotel room alternative, as we brought the dog..The property manager and owner were very responsive and accommodating. We were able to procure with their help a parking spot off-street, as we drove. The neighborhood is gorgeous, the studio apartment is clean, well-appointed, and very comfortable. I think we would go for a bigger unit next time, but you can't beat the price and location. Well done!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in DC and the location of our lodging was key! You can see the Capitol building lit up at night right out the doorstep and there is a bike share rack steps away. The apartment is very clean and comfortable and Brian was an excellent host responding to questions about our upcoming stay and needs in an extremely timely fashion. There were many restaurants, a corner market and pharmacy within walking distance and it was nice to come back to a residential area after a busy day of seeing our nation's capitol city!
