If I could give 6 stars, I would have. The host thought of so many special details such as soft robes, a running water fountain near the front porch you can hear when the windows are open, and a bottle of wine from their vineyard. We enjoyed coffee in the morning on the front porch and enjoyed a spa on the back patio with beautiful patio lights and there is a fire pit which looked amazing but we were too tired from our day at the beach to stay up for. The garden in the backyard is so beautiful and peaceful. This is a special place. I’m an RN, and picky about cleanliness, and the cottage and linens were fresh and clean. We plan to return and will share this gem with our family.

The hosts were great. They invited us over for a tasting of the wine they produce there and we learned a lot of interesting facts. The house is great and the hot tub is absolutely the perfect end to the day.

The property was like a little home away from home. Loved the back yard. It was easy to find and like a little slice of heaven. The corn hole boards were so creative.

We loved our stay at this comfortable cottage in wine country California. The gardens, hot tub and wood burning fire pit were an awesome treat. The hosts were congenial but not intrusive. Nothing significant in the "house rules", all typical requests of a private home. Their home-made wine was delicious. Many local wineries in the area and a peaceful place to come home to. Thanks for a relaxing and tranquil few days.

My husband and I stayed here for a week during a three-week golf trip to the San Francisco/Napa/Sonoma area. We absolutely loved it—we do 3-4 VRBO rentals a year, and this is one of our all-time favorites. As mentioned, the cottage is vintage 1946, and we blew a breaker the kitchen one morning, but our hosts responded immediately and reset it for us. The outdoor space is large and beautifully landscaped, and I loved the hot tub. Furnishings are comfortable. Kitchen is small, again, 1940s-era, but worked perfectly for us for breakfasts, snacks, and re-heating restaurant leftovers. Would absolutely stay here again when in the area. Hosts are top-notch!

Owners were nice and responsive to questions. They stayed in a house in front of and within feet of the cottage. The location is 5 minutes from Sebastopol. Convenient, though from the reviews and photos we expected something else. The cottage is in a semi-rural neighborhood in Santa Rosa, not surrounded by open space on two sides. It was okay, but it would have been helpful for us to have a better sense of the area and setup, before committing to the rental. For us, it was a lot to spend and it wasn't what we expected. Again, the owners were very nice and we appreciated that.

We had such a nice and peaceful stay! The cottage was cute and pecan bread was divine. We loved the hot tub and the garden! So many nice touches. We will be back!

Lynn's cottage is an absolute gem! It's a beautiful spot, close to downtown Santa Rosa and Sonoma wineries but secluded enough to feel luxuriantly private. Lynn herself is an impeccable host, warm and communicative. Overall this is one of the nicest stays we've ever had!

Loved the hot tub & beautiful garden, especially at night. The bottle of wine was a great addition. The cottage was very well stocked. The garden butterflies were a lovely surprise.

Loved the experience. Lynn was communicative throughout, sweet and was respectful of our privacy. We had a bottle of red wine and two lemon blueberry muffins greeting us on arrival. The home is well stocked with household essentials, including milk and butter in the fridge. The hot tub is private, the garden has a fire pit, and a heat lamp is thoughtfully placed above the outdoor dining area. It’s perfection.

My husband and I had the opportunity to get away for two nights to celebrate my birthday and, just get away from the hustle and bustle for a few days! This was a perfect place to stay and near everything that we wanted which were restaurants, winery’s, breweries shopping and beautiful scenery. Lynn and John are very accommodating and welcoming hosts. Their property is beautiful and exactly how described. Plenty of space. We utilized each room, will except for the kids room since we were away from our kids this trip 😉LOL and the backyard and hot tub. Everything felt extremely comfortable and relaxing. The property was very clean, well stocked with supplies. Lynn and her husband were very friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed our stay and would gladly stay again if we are in the area. Quiet location with a great patio area with a hot tub. Very relaxing.

Beautiful property and lovely house. Owner greeted us when we arrived, but otherwise didn't disturb us during the stay. Loved the backyard and the privacy around the hot tub. House was generously stocked with everything we could need.

Simply the best! The cottage is better than pictured. Absolutely darling and had all amenities needed. A bottle of estate wine and fresh zucchini bread were provided upon arriving. Loved the ambiance of the private backyard with jacuzzi. Slept well on the comfortable bed and the kitchen was well stocked for preparing meals, etc... The hosts, Lynn and John are fantastic! They gave me and my sister a private wine tasting in their lovely tasting room. Everything was just wonderful. Feeling very lucky to have found this gem of a place to stay in Sonoma County. This VRBO was perfect. My adult daughter and I flew to meet in San Francisco and then have a mother daughter weekend in wine country. Knowing nothing about the proximity of places, I was a bit hesitant but this place was just right. It is about a 3/4 mile drive to the highway which provides access to wineries and activities near and far. The place itself was lovely. It was cozy, comfortable and harming. The hosts thought of all of the right touches and we needed very little. The only hitch - shockingly for early July - was that the temp dropped into the low 50's and we opted for a little heat. That was no problem and we were able to be toasty. The hosts welcomed us with wine and muffins - waiting in the unit upon our arrival. And while we arrived late in the evening (delays getting out of the airport), the host met us and made sure we got into our place safely and had everything we needed. We got to enjoy the hot tub 2 different evenings. I found it fun to lean my head back and see the expanse of sky. I live in a densely populated suburb outside of a major city on the east coast, so seeing the sky was a treat for me. Plus it was very peaceful I'd recommend it to anyone

Each morning we had our coffee in the private back yard surrounded by birds, flowers and greenery. We did not take advantage of the hot tub, my one regret! Every day I found some new delight, such as the whimsical fairy and gnome garden, the twinkling night lights out back, the fruit trees and roses, and the thoughtful touches in the cottage to make our stay perfect. We truly enjoyed our time learning about the grapes and the winemaking process from John. We are already looking ahead to when we can come again. John and Lynn are excellent hosts who make great efforts to care for their guests - thanks so much!
