Had the pleasure of renting the Villa at Santa Theresa for 4 nights . The Villa was within walking distance to restaurants , a market, and shopping. The facilities were meticulously maintained. Best of all the property manager exceeded all expectations; she accomplished many of our excursions during our stay as well as transportation to and from the airport. Traveling to another country can be difficult especially when there is a language barrier but our group did not face many obstacles with the help of Judit. She was a terrific communicator and facilitated much of our requests which sometimes were last minute. Thank you for your hospitality !! Victoria Harris

This is a great property situated near the beach and restaurants and bars. Property was clean and well maintained. I have nothing but good things to say about this place.

Nos hizo falta tener canales de tv, hay algunas goteras en la terraza justo encima de las sillas de descanso, pero esos son pequeños detalles la verdad que el lugar esta excelente!! El parqueo nos preocupó un poco pero dejamos el carro al lado sin problema y todo resultó súper bien.

Private, own little paradise in the crazy town Santa Teresa, not far to the beach and daily things like supermarket, restaurants and cafes. Everyday cleaning service. Good for 4 people.

For the price this felt like great value. We were checked in with a little mistake which was quickly solved. We were blown away by how clean and special the villa was. The pictures can not do it justice. The pool was amazing. We loved to sit by the pool for breakfast. The location is good and handy for the beach and the supermarket. Communication with the manager was excellent she is really responsive and quick to answer.

My family and I were staying in Playa Santa Teresa for a week for my brother's wedding, and staying at the Tropical Boutique Villa Sunset helped to create an extraordinary experience for us all. Judit was extremely helpful and responsive with all of our needs. Since we flew in from the United States, we didn't have cell phone service unless connected to WiFi, and Judit's communication and directions made it extremely easy to access the home. She gave us directions well in advance, which was perfect since the drive from the airport to the home was about 5 hours. We were driving in the dark, and were still easily able to find the right place. After arrival, Judit continued to be extremely helpful and responsive. If we had a question, she was very quick, and even took time out of her day to stop by and show us how to work the safe when we couldn't figure it out. Judit was very welcoming and made us feel like family. Along with Judit's hospitality, the home was absolutely beautiful and perfect for the week stay. It was a perfect location, just off the main road, with a quick walk to the beach, and an even quicker walk to where the rest of the wedding party was staying at Punta Cocoa. We walked to the Earth Cafe every morning, which had amazing food and coffee for breakfast and lunch. The market was just round the corner, and the fruit market was right near the Earth Cafe. The security of the home was also perfect. We felt very safe and secure, and with the home just being off the beaten path, there wasn't a ton of traffic noise like there would be on the main strip. The home was extremely clean, and the housekeeper was very friendly. She came once a day, except on Sunday, and kept the home feeling very fresh. There was an AC in every room, which could be turned off in the evenings, which we liked to do so that we could open the doors up to the outside pool area. Having the AC and the pool so accessible were perfect after long days on the beach and out surfing in the sun. Although it's not necessary to rent a car or ATV, I would recommend doing that, just because there is so much along the strip to explore, and many of the restaurants (like the Bakery, which had amazing food) were about a mile up the strip. I would also recommend taking a day trip to Montezuma Falls if possible! So beautiful! Overall, I would highly recommend staying at Judit's Sunset Villa, and hope to return sometime in the future! We recently stayed for 8 nights (1 night in one villa and 7 nights in the other adjacent villa) and have only good things to say. Judit is responsive within minutes with any questions that you need answered whether it is related to the house or a tour/activities. The house is spacious, 3 bedrooms en suite with great a/c, lovely pool and outdoor area. The WIFI worked very well. Stocked with coffee and a water cooler, a huge plus. Daily maid service was another unexpected plus. I love that we came home each day to made beds, empty trash, fresh bathroom towels, etc. Felt like we were really on vacation! Step out of the front gate and walk everywhere in Santa Teresa. Restaurants and cafes in both directions, beach about a 5 minute walk across the street. This was a perfect location for us because we could come back in the afternoon and relax with our teens by the pool, cook occasionally and relax with a book. Yes, there is some street noice (didn't bother us because that is the tradeoff for staying in the center of things) but it is just the wonderful world going by: sweet dogs, motorbikes, surfers walking by with their boards, just a laid back town. Lovely little chirping birds every morning! Showers were great, A/C worked well. I wish we were here in a less humid time of the year so that we could keep all the wall to wall doors open and enjoy the fresh air. But green season could not have been better, sunny all day long, afternoon showers. The perfect week. Thank you Judit for making everything so easy!

We really could not have loved this property better! First of all, it's absolutely beautiful. The pool area is lovely, and the bedrooms and bathrooms were modern and just so nice. We had the best time! Parked right outside and had very easy access to everything Santa Teresa Beach has to offer. But the best part of our experience was the attention given to us by Judit. She really is the best VRBO host I've had!

Great location close to everything. No car necessary to access everything in Santa Teresa. Judit was a great host and housekeeper Daysi was superb. Highly recommend. Highly recommend Del Soul surf shop just down the street.

For the 3 of us, this was great. Each bedroom has its own bathroom/shower and large, full kitchen, pool (a must!). The place was well kept and in great condition. We were able to walk to rent my surfboard, get groceries, go to restaurants, get Santa Teresa beach (great beach). This place is toward a street that can get periodically noisy with motor bikes going up and down it. This wasn't an issue for us, but I can see how it may be for some. There is an almost identical unit available (on VRBO also, I believe) next to it facing the other way which may eliminate the issue. We go the CR every year. If we are in the area again we will certainly be looking for this place.

We had a great time in Santa Teresa staying at the home with our kids. The house is in a part of town with good services around but feels isolated. It's walking distance to the beach. The house was always clean. Judit was very friendly and forthcoming, always available to help and had many good recommendations. Many good activities around if you rent a jeep. Our favorite one was going fishing (and watching amazing marine wildlife!) with the fishermen from Mal Pais. Bonus: we had access to a brand new BBQ at the home to grill our catch of the day. :) .

what an incredible time we had at this villa and town! we were away for our honeymoon and could not be happier with it! Judit was so helpful with every question we had leading up to the trip to everything we needed or asked during our stay. We had problems the day before arriving with travel and Judit took care of everything, which kept us stressfree and able to enjoy our trip! The property was beautifully decorated and everything we needed was there waiting for us. Daysi the housekeeper kept the villa immaculately clean and was always very friendly and sweet. We were able to walk to anything we needed for food and supplies and the beach was only a three minute walk away from the villa. the beach was beautiful and clean, lovely sunsets and lots of opportunity to watch surfers in the waves or walk for miles. beautiful restaurants throughout the town, along the beach of different dishes and price points. We enjoyed a drink at sunset at banana beach and then staying for dinner after. it was lovely!! Judit also arranged for us to rent atvs and provide directions to go to see waterfalls and other beaches and towns. I highly recommend it! we absolutely loved our time here and cannot wait to return. I honestly cannot find one thing that needs changing at this villa! it is great for two people or for a group. the rooms are large and spread out, and the common room and kitchen are large enough for the whole family. the outdoor space was calming and inviting. we enjoyed sitting on the loungers reading while the afternoon rain fell, or at night at the large table outside eating dinner. one evening we had Judit send a chef in and we had the greatest meal!!!!! it was incredible, and I wish we had done it more while we were there. we cannot thank Judit enough for making sure our honeymoon was perfect and we will be returning again soon!!

From our arrival greeting to our last day this was a great home! Location is great, walk-able to restaurants, beaches, bars and a grocery store. The home is beautiful with modern furnishings. The service that is provided by Dasi the house attendant was amazing, our place was always clean and neat. The owner Judit is so attentive to answer any questions or to provide you with any recommendations. Judit set us up with zip lining, snorkeling, ATV rentals, Taxi's and Chef Aaron. We had Aaron come to the home and create us an amazing dinner one evening. You can not go wrong with this rental and the adventure of Costa Rica !

We loved the villa! It was perfectly set up for our needs. The two bedrooms on the one side of the villa accommodated my sister in-laws family very well and we had our privacy and space in the bedroom on the other side of the villa. Judith was attentive and responded quickly to any requests or needs that we had including providing a playpen for the 7 month old so we didn't have to bring one with us. Daisy kept the villa clean daily and even did our laundry! The location was convenient to the grocery store, the beach, yoga and restaurants. We all loved and enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.

My family's stay in Santa Teresa at the Tropical Sunset Villa was wonderful. The villa was very well equipped and clean and Brenda did a great job cleaning every day. The location was extremely convenient. Judith and Idan were very nice to deal with. Would definitely go again.

I stayed here for a week and a half, the first part with my girlfriends and the second part with my boyfriend and we could not have had a better experience. Edan was incredibly helpful with everything i needed: Organizing transfers to and from the airport, setting us up with a great surf instructor, helping us rent an ATV. We never had to worry about a thing. Daysi keep the house incredibly clean. There was a neighborhood orange tiger kitten who would wander in and out, we named him Naranjo, and he definitely enhanced our visit every time he came to visit. The pool was perfect temperature for swimming and lounging, and the hammock was perfect for chilling and reading. The lay out of the house was perfect, the rooms were large with high ceilings, the beds were super comfortable, and the waterfall showers in each bathroom were amazing! The house is in a perfect location, set back from the main street, but the grocery store is literally around the corner, the beach is a quick 5 minute walk, and there are a ton of amazing restaurant options a short walk away. I highly recommend Burger Rancho for their fabulous tuna ceviche and guacamole, and Suna for take-out pad thai. There are also 2 different yoga studios within a 10 minute walk, that offer multiple yoga classes every day, so that was great and super convenient. Some day I hope to come back to stay here again, and in the meantime am recommending the Sunset Villa to all of my friends and family! Thanks Edan and Judit!

We just returned from Sunset Villa in Santa Teresa, what an AMAZING trip! We (me, my husband and kids 14 and 11) arrived to Judit welcoming us and showing us around the beautiful villa - PERFECT for us, each child had their own bedroom and bathroom - no fighting and room for everyone to retreat to at the end of the day. We ate breakfast each morning in the fully equipped kitchen and cooked dinner in half the nights. The grocery store is literally right next door - we even forgot the credit card once and I ran home and got it before they were done ringing up our items! The pool is perfect after a day at the beach, along with 3 outdoor showers to rinse off. The house is in an ideal location, walking to beach, shops and restaurants, while quietly tucked away behind a locked private fence. Judit was available any time of the day for questions & restaurant recommendations. Oh, and don't forget Daisy the sweet housekeeper who came each day, what a treat! Great Wifi and Smart TV so the kids were entertained after a day at the beach or rainforest. AC in each room too, which is necessary! No complaints, great trip - book Sunset Villa, you won't be disappointed!

This was our third trip to Santa Teresa in 7 years and has been our best VRBO experience anywhere - ever (and we've had great stays in Tuscany, NYC, California, Canada). The villa itself is beautiful with spacious, well-designed rooms and a layout which maximizes opportunities for 'together time' and 'alone time'. All bedrooms flow into both indoor and outdoor communal spaces. Indoors are clean, simple and well-appointed. The outdoor space, however, was where we spent most of our time. The pool, ample shelter and outdoor ceiling fans provide shelter from the sun and heat - when needed. The table and lounging areas provide perfect spaces for cards, board games, alfresco dining and just chilling. The location is ideal - surrounded by amenities (groceries, restaurants, yoga, beach, surf shop - all within 3 mins walk), but with great privacy and respite from the street activity. What set this experience apart, though, was the amazing hospitality, attention and service from our hosts (Edan and Judit) and their crew (especially Deysi). If we had questions, they were answered; if we needed help, they provided, and they had great suggestions, recommendations and tips for enhancing our stay. Santa T is a magical place and this villa amplified the magic. Villas Tropical provides creature comfort and simple elegance while offering convenience and privacy, and Edan, Judit and Deysi make you feel at home. Thanks for a vacation we will always remember.

We stayed at this Villa for one week over spring break with our 2 teenagers. The Villa is brand new and is a perfect location to walk to restaurants, surf shops, yoga, and the beach. There was daily cleaning and it had all the amenities we needed. Very cool modern bathrooms with outdoor showers as well. The owners are a lovely young couple and were so helpful with everything during our stay. They helped arrange our taxi, atv rentals, surf lessons, and restaurant suggestions. We couldn't have been happier with our stay. We can't wait to go back! Don't hesitate to rent this Villa!

Pasamos una semana y desde el momento en que llegamos, la recepcion ha sido fabulosa. La casa tiene todo lo que uno puede necesitar para pasar unas vacaciones espectaculares. A solo tres cuadras de playa Selina y muy cerquita de supermercado, la comodidad de la casa suma mucho al increíble escenario de las playas de Santa Teresa. We just returned from one week in Santa Teresa and had the pleasure of staying at a beautiful spot in the heart of town and a few minutes walk to the beach. Everything this property describes is true - it is clean, decently stocked with things you will need and in such a good spot! The pool is nice to relax in when it gets hot and the are outdoor showers are so wonderful to wash the beach off of you when you get in from a surf! There is no better place to read a book than in the hammock! Because the property is off the main drag but just a quick walk to groceries and restaurants, we were able to conveniently get everything we need during our stay. There is a housekeeper there daily to refresh the place and keep it stunning, which we are so appreciative of! What the property description does not tell you is how amazing the owners, Judit and Idan are!!! They were incredibly responsive to anything we were curious about and so egar to help us enjoy our stay! You can tell they love to share their love of Santa Teresa and it really made our trip! I would recommend Sunset Villa to anyone looking to be walking distance to some of the best surfing you can find!! It's perfect for 3 couples as it's a 3 bedroom with three bathrooms and lots of common space for meals, etc! We loved our stay here and know you will too!! Thank you so much Judit & Idan!!
