The house was terrific. We loved the fire pit and the hot tub. Close enough to Lake George and all it’s activities.

The property was perfect for our trip (two families with three kids). Very clean and the only issue we had was no cell service and spotty internet which given the location is to be expected. Great view of the Hudson river and a perfect location for our trip (we went to both Gore Mountain and Lake George).

We have a great stay at this property. It was exactly what we were looking for. The space was clean and open. We would definitely stay here again.

Stayed here for a weekend family get away. House was perfect for our size. Beautiful location on the Hudson. Close to downtown and a 15 minute drive to the center of Lake George. If we ever return to the area we will absolutely book house again.

Wow! This was a great home. It was comfortable, clean, convenient and has everything thing you need for a great vacation. Close to Gore and Lake George. The owner was so accommodating and friendly . We had an absolutely wonderful stay! Alyssa couldn’t have been nicer. The views were gorgeous and it was a quick 20 minutes drive to Lake George. We enjoyed making s’mores in the fire pit and exploring the beauty across the street. A fantastic experience overall!

House is great. Could use some furniture upgrades for more comfortable sitting areas. There was a leak in the basement by the laundry center but the owner was on top of it and scheduled to have a plumber come out. Overall a very nice time. The house is located off the beaten path and it was nice to have the quietness at the house and the hustle and bustle of Lake George 15 minutes away. River was fun. The cell coverage and wifi are not reliable so be prepared to disconnect. We thought that was a good thing.

We rented this house to stay since we were going to a wedding at the Sagamore on Lake George. Our overall impression is good. We would have liked to have known that we would have spotty internet service. The Wifi extender was not working. We are all just used to using our electronics regularly. I would suggest that the owner put in intructions for the TV. Again, not bad to be "unplugged" but would have brought more games. We did enjoy the firepit. The house was clean but I did see hair around. I am not a clean freak but I have experience renting my own house and know how it is left after being cleaned. Overall, it served our purposes and we ejoyed our stay.

This home was just as promised on-line. Alyssa was a wonderful and responsive host. The house was very clean with newer appliances. We used the fire pit nightly and views of the Hudson River were our constant companion both inside and outside. We were surrounded by serenity and nature but only 10 min from Main St and an easy drive to the beach, kayaking, hiking, etc. A wonderful vacation spot for our group which was aged 4-74.

We came to ski Gore mountain, this place was perfect. Its a relatively short drive to the restaurants and the mountain. Overall we had a very relaxing time. The house was very clean and cozy with great views of the river.

Our stay was cozy and relaxing in this adirondack style cabin. Plenty of room for our family, very clean, enjoyable amenities... especially the indoor hot tub! Located in a quiet, wooded setting, but also easily accessible. A very short drive to Lake George Village. I highly recommend!

This house was so beautiful and clean! The hosts were extremely accommodating and responsive to everything we needed. This house accommodated 10 adults easily. Highly recommend staying here!

This was the perfect way to bring in 2022. View is amazing and house was spectacular. Kids loved the hot pool lol Definitely plan on going back!

The property was nice. Hot tub is a little small only 2 people can fit comfortably. If you plan on using the internet forget it. It’s horrible, but it gave us more time to spend with the family. The fire pit was wonderful and the scenery was great. Close to a lot of places to ski.

We checked in on Friday for a low key bachelorette weekend getaway. This property had everything we could have wanted plus more. The property manager was very responsive. I would highly recommend staying at this picturesque property

Loved the house was a great family vacation, the river across was awesome for fishing, the wild life was incredible we all watched a baby deer sprint across the lawn during the day, quiet road , good for walking

The log cabin was great. There was lots of space. The grandparents stayed upstairs with lots of privacy. The three children and their parents were downstairs, all together. There was definitely room for more people. There were plenty of great appliances for use. The kitchen was lovely. We were able to go into Lake George Village without a problem. It was lovely to get back to a magnificent river view and outside space to enjoy.

Beautiful views! We really enjoyed our stay! Our kids loved the short walk down to the river where we could swim, search for rocks or look at the baby frogs hop around. Alyssa was extremely easy to contact. Cell reception is a little spotty but there is a landline we used to order food. We are so glad we chose the River House!! ❤️

Our time spent at this home was relaxing. Wood was ready for us to use in the fire pit there was a Jacuzzi but we did not use it. The Wi-Fi and cell service is horrible if you use more than one device. But that cannot be helped due to the location. Our main complaint was that there were no napkins,dish towels, not enough paper towels or any facial tissues. Dish towels were provided which was a huge help. All of which would have been brought if we knew. Other than those minor issues, all 8 of us enjoyed enjoyed our stay greatly!

we chose this property for it isolation, amount of space and its kitchen. All of this lived up to our hopes, many of us have stayed in other fully equipped places and have been highly disappointed. Our host was gracious, friendly & helpful. We enjoyed our stay thouroughly!

This cabin was the perfect place for a bunch of friends to get away from everything, relax and have a great time! Plenty of room in the cabin for everyone and a great common space. The new front deck is great and you have a grill and fire pit right outside. A large grass lawn in the front was perfect to play cornhole and other lawn games. The hot tub inside was another great bonus to have. Alyssa was always quick to answer any questions or concerns. Even though you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere, the town of Warrensburg was only 10 minutes away. It has the grocery store you need and plenty of places to eat or bring take-out back to the cabin. The sounds of the river and the surrounding wildlife was incredibly refreshing. We had a great time and will be remembering this place for the next time we need to get away from downstate New York.

Everything was excellent easy check in and check out! Owner was very responsive and nice!

First I dont have a Hot Tub and only had 2 nights to get away for some peace and quiet with some relaxation. The owner will respond that she did reimburse us a small amount for the hot tub not working the first night which was appreciated. But when I called her after an hour of waiting for the tub to heat which started out at 73 which is the temperature of my goldfish tank, I knew something wasn’t right. Also, the jets were sucking air because the water level wasn’t up to proper level. My impression of my first conversation with the owner was she wasn’t happy “she” had to deal with the problematic hot tub. But I’m the one paying good money for 2 nights only. She explained it takes time for tub to heat up. She also told me the water level probably dropped and I could use the hose on the side to connect to kitchen faucet and add water. So here I am holding the open-end hose tightly over the kitchen spout as my wife held another end to fill the tub. After at least 15-20 minutes the water level was correct, and jets were working properly. We held our breath and hoped water would begin to warm. No such luck! It was obvious feeling the water coming strong from jets temperature was NOT getting warm. Even if it did, it would be very late or early morning to warm. It was a clear indication that nobody checked this out before our arrival. It has a floating Thermometer and owner should have ensured this was up to 90-100 before our arrival. The second call wasn’t good because it seemed as I was a bother and was told its hundreds of gallons and will take a long time! As I said that’s UNACCEPTABLE and should have been hot and filled BEFORE arrival. When I asked if I could be reimbursed if I left before 11 next day I was told “ I lost the weekend already so I can’t see reimbursement just because the hot-tub doesn’t work, the house is fine. Well I have a quiet country home but DON’T have a hot tub enclosure where you can enjoy when its cold out. So yes, we were bummed but didn’t want more aggravation and wanted to go home. Owner said if it’s not working in morning, she would send someone. So, the first night was pretty much shot. Before night end owner did finally do the right thing and texted me she would give me a small discount for the first night and would reimburse me for 2nd night if we left by 11am. That helped me sleep better and was appreciated. By 11am the next morning the water was hot and we enjoyed our last night. Again I wasnt asking much.

Very beautiful we will sure comeback during the summertime. the owner responded right away with any of our needs. in love with the house and with the area. planing our next getaway. thank you so much for this amazing stay.

The family really enjoyed our time at this home. Owner was very responsive and was kind enough to allow us to come a day early last minute to get ahead of the snow storm. We enjoyed the great view from the home. Lots of privacy but still close enough to Gore to get there for some skiing and snow shoeing. Great spot for a few days, just be aware that the internet can be spotty.
