Cottage/Tiny House Living Accommodation in Beaufort for Cost-conscious Traveler

A lovely place; carefully designed and decorated in a whimsical private garden just a short walk to beautiful Pigeon Point and Pinckney Park. A perfect hideaway for one person and 2 smalll pups.

The property was quaint, with many birds and a few kitties! I really enjoyed it. We couldn’t sit outside much in the evening due to the mosquitoes but I’m sure it is better in the fall.
You’ll have everything you need for a comfortable stay. The mini fridge even had some condiments
Diane is lovely and even surprised me with a birthday flower bouquet 💐

Diane's property was so comfy and relaxing. The location was amazing. It was a small neighborhood but close to many the downtown area. It was the best of both worlds. Diane herself was a blessing. The power was out when we arrived but she had phone us ahead of time to let us know and she provided what she could until the power resumed to help us with our arrival. I appreciated her friendliness when we interacted by phone and in person. She is a wonderful lady.

Very unique property with a whimsical garden, cardinals, kitties and turtle visitors, beautiful flowers and statues. The hostess, Miss Diane is wonderful, welcoming, kind and thoughtful. She had great communication exchange with us from the moment we booked the property until we left, had a welcoming gift for us and a parting breakfast. Such a cute, conformable and exquisite place, we truly enjoyed staying there.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about our stay here. Diane had everything we needed and more in the tiny home which was perfect for me and my big pup! The neighborhood is so pretty with a great park for daily walks. Sunsets at the point each afternoon are a must and the garden on the property was lush and sprinkled with my favorite, sunflowers. We will be back many more times!

Adorable little cottage with everything you need to be comfortable and cozy for a night or a week's stay. The owner lives right next door and she had a wealth of information on the quaint Pidgeon Point neighborhood, downtown Beaufort which is so close by, restaurant recommendations and even real estate information for those considering a move to Beaufort. The fenced courtyard full of beautiful flowers, bird feeders, statues and tables and various seating was done so tastefully and created the perfect atmosphere for me and my wife to enjoy coffee in the morning while our lab mix (Bodie) enjoyed watching birds and even 2 friendly cats in the fenced yard. We highly recommend a stay here and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Celebrated a big mil birthday with my friend and our two pups. Diane went out of her way to make our experience at her tiny home one of the highlights of the weekend. Her tiny home, surrounding gardens and outdoor veranda will always be remembered for how welcomed we felt. She even left dog biscuits for our pups A visit to her store, Mermaid's Chandelier, is also highly recommended for great bargains.

Our tiny house was perfect. It is tiny but it really works well. Diane was amazing. She was accommodating to us and my family, who were staying at other places, but came over for a little party. The yard was lovely to sit in, the bird feeders attracted cardinals and other birds. The neighborhood is quiet and pretty. I would recommend to single females who travel alone. It’s very safe. I will definitely stay there again when I’m in town. Diane is a top notch host.

We stayed at this location for my wife and I 41st anniversary. The mini house was nise and cozy, yet it had the all that was needed for a short stay. The town of Burford was a great place to visit. We plan to return to the town for more site seeing. That's how great the stay was.

This was a very reasonable house that has wonderful outside gardens and is in a nice quiet neighborhood near water.
Our hostess had left some nice goodies for us which was much appreciated.

The nest had everything I needed (and more!). It was a short visit.. I wish I had more time. I could enjoy beach rest and evening office work. the kitchenette had everything I could imagine (not clear in the website), and the shower was magnificent. I loved that the host provided a pass for the beach and a bottle of wine for the first night :) I will keep it on my radar to come back!

We loved walking to two beautiful parks in the neighborhood, and the walk to Bay St. shops and restaurants was a pleasant 30 minute walk along sidewalks. There is a park pass included in the stay which gets you into Hunting Beach park for free. The garden and sitting areas at the tiny home make a very pleasant spot for bird watching. We would come back again and again!

Everything about the stay was lovely. I wish I could’ve stayed longer. The garden was beautiful and like stepping into a fairy tale!

It was very tiny. Sweet eclectic and friendly. The town was much larger than I expected going from the Verbo description of quaint old style city. We are in Dunellon FL. Now. Also a miss leading description advertised.

This is a tiny space, but every inch of this cozy space is filled with whimsey and charm. The cottage smelled sweet and felt comfy. From the pretty rose and flower garden with sweet statuary, to the beachy decorations, it's all about good vibes! This little nest is filled with happy little appointments (a quilt on the trundle bed, books, teas, beachy art, a state park beach pass, even gourmet doggy treats for our little old doggy!) This tiny Beaufort cottage was perfect for us!

We really enjoyed this cozy cottage just a few blocks from both ocean views and the downtown nightlife. Diane is a wonderful hostess who is warm and welcoming. The location is quiet but accessible. We look forward to future visits!

This place is such a cute, quiet little gem. Me and my bestie enjoyed our stay. I love that it was literally 5 minutes to downtown Beaufort and about a 20 minute drive to the beach. I was thankful that it was pet friendly as well! Our dog Chloe really enjoyed herself. Diane’s garden is absolutely beautiful. I really enjoyed looking at all the flowers around the property. Will definitely stay here again when I come back!

The cottage is a quaint sweet place located close to EVERYTHING you want or need in Beaufort and the beach. It is a little smaller than we thought, however, it was perfect for us. We would DEFINITELY stay with Ms. Diane again. She is a very sweet, kind, and accommodating hostess.

This was a cozy little place. We enjoyed it. Nice and quiet. Would add connector section and kind sheets to make it one bed instead of two separate twin beds.

Perfect area in pigeon point, walk to the water , see the sunset. Close to downtown Beaufort . If you love nature you will love Diane’s tiny house. Garden flowers stunning, all the bird feeders , cardinals, woodpeckers, hummingbirds, titmouse, chickadees… the screen porch w fan very helpful. Bring yard guard or bug spray just in case.

The tiny house was indeed very tiny, but had everything required for a pleasant stay. The neighborhood was lovely and provided good opportunities for dog walking. The addition of a South Carolina Parks pass was a bonus, as we were waived right in to Hunting Island State Park.
Since we have previously lived on a sailboat and a 17 foot camping trailer for months at a time, we are accustomed to close living quarters. The only negative is that when the trundle bed is rolled out, there is no room to walk around. I would recommend this house completely for one person, but two people need to be fully aware of the size limitations.
We had a lot of trouble figuring out how to operate the trundle bed. I would suggest that Diane make a point of demonstrating this in person if possible.
Other than above, we definitely rate this a five star location.

Quaint, colorful and cozy. Everything you need to feel at home. Perfect for a a weekend getaway. The location is quiet but close to everything…walk, bike or drive. A beautiful park is just a short walk and very nice if you have dogs! The host, Diane was kind and great with her communications! Will be back again I’m certain!

We absolutely loved our visit to Beaufort. Diane's tiny house/ cottage provided us with a comfortable place to unwind, cool down, park our gear, clean up and crash at night. The screened-in gazebo provided extra lounge space for relaxing and enjoying our morning coffee. We enjoyed walks to the boat ramp for stunning sunsets each evening. We even caught sight of a pod of dolphins one afternoon. The property location in Pigeon's Point is just a short bicycle ride to downtown Beaufort and many of the historical/ significant sights. BIG praise for the tiny house!
