My sisters and I came To visit family and enjoyed our location so much! We walked to the square several times for meals and exercise. The blue bungalow was perfect for our group and close to everything we wanted to do

The house itself was more than adequate for our purposes. The location was awesome. There was one big surprise. That was the attached back apartment. The three small children were precious and the mom was very nice. It’s just that this was not mentioned. We will certainly consider staying there again.

Overall I have to take into consideration several things. It is not a food, prepare friendly property. Kitchen had dirt in the drawers, where the utensils and cookware is located. The oven was very dirty and had burnt food i on the inside of the door as well as inside the entire oven. Sheets were not provided for the pullout bed and we did not have extra blankets. If we hadn’t brought our own pillow and blanket, my son would have not had any bedding. I gave a detailed explanation of my concerns, but I did not hear back from the host. I took photos of the inside of the oven and my kitchen concerns. I did take photos as well.

perfect place for an overnight stay. Shannon was a great communicator and ensured we had everything we needed.
A few things to note before arriving.
1. Bring water as there is no filtered water in fridge
2. Walking distance to center is about 20 minutes. Keep that in mind as we thought it would be quicker walk based on reviews.
3. Sofa bed is actually really comfortable but if you are on the bigger side, it may not be the best bed for you. My husband is 6’3 and he didn’t find it as comfortable as I did.
4. Bedroom beds are very comfortable.
3. Shannon is super helpful. Anything you need, just reach out as she was quick to answer.

Perfect place for a couple of friends or a couple to get away for a few days. Location could not have been better. Loved the cute front porch with a couple of chairs perfect for morning coffee or evening glass of wine.

Adorable little home close to everything! It was just as beautiful as the pics show. My college daughter, sister and I stayed for a weekend get away. It was close enough to downtown McKinney that we could walk. We would definitely stay here again!

This is an adorable home in the historic district in McKinney and the owners provide wonderful communication! It is decorated great and has comfy beds and a great kitchen for preparing home cooked meals & in a great location in the metroplex! We will definitely be back to this gem! Michelle and Joe

Great little house on a quiet street in McKinney very close to McKinney Square. Street parking only and no access to backyard which is shared with go renter but that made no difference to me. I enjoyed spending early morning on the front porch watching the foot traffic. Thoroughly enjoyed staying here

We were visiting Dallas for a baseball tournament. It was an excellent location where we could walk or drive to shopping and great restaurants. The house was clean and spacious. The property manager was very responsive and helpful. We will definitely stay again for future visits.

Overall, we were very happy with our stay in this house. The a/c was broke when we arrived, but it was fixed by the next day. The accommodations were nice, and it was clean. The beds were comfortable, and we were close enough to walk downtown where there are great restaurants and shopping.

Great spot for two of us (mother and adult daughter). We just had a quick getaway and the house is clean, nicely furnished, comfortable and felt safe. Would definitely stay there again!

This is our second stay at this house. Just the right size and everything we need including location which is close to downtown McKinney. We love the neighborhood and the historical homes. Easy to get to from the larger Dallas area.

We needed a place close to downtown McKinney for an early family Christmas, and this fit the bill.

Cute place in walking distance from downtown. Has 2 bdrooms 1 bathroom. Bathroom needs a little attention with the shower faucet. It was stuck and a little hard to lift up. The sink hot/cold water is opposite which isnt a big deal once I figured it out. There was coffee with creamer and sugar which is nice. There is also shampoo and soap provided if needed.
The house is attached to another property, so the parking was a little weird and we could hear people all night long. They were either from that place or another property in the alley. The parking pad could possibly hold 2 cars 1 behind the other, but that car was in the middle, so we had to park up in the grass. I would stay here again because of the location though. The downtown area has great restaurants w/ live music, and the streets are pedestrian friendly and lit up at night.

Great Downtown Cottage
This was a great little house to stay at to escape for a weekend staycation. I love the downtown McKinney area and wanted to stay near so we could walk to and from. This won’t matter to most but I really loved that the travel soaps left for us were organic. It made my little natural minded self giddy to see. The house had everything we needed for our staycation!

Like staying at a friend's lovely, comfortable home
Such a pleasing property! Comfortable, yet stylishly appointed. Shannon was available for any assistance needed, and none was. The house was everything I needed, as we bounced from the bungalow to my daughter's house. I cooked for her dinner at the bnb and had the equipment I needed. And it was quiet and very restful with sumptuous linen and comfortable mattresses. It was perfect for taking a welcome break from the festivities of my grandson's graduation. I highly recommend it and hope to stay there again!!!
