Waterfront Cabin With Sand Beach On Pristine Shell Lake
Chalet à louer sur la plage immaculée, clair 2500 acres Shell Lake avec plage de sable et d'un quai. Seulement cinq minutes de Spooner, WI (grands magasins et golf) et à moins de deux heures de Twin Cities! Shell Lake est connu pour sa grande basse et de la pêche au doré, ainsi que son fond de sable et de l'eau claire. This property was amazing for a getaway with my friend and our kiddos. There were so many fun things for them to do outside that they even played in the rain out there! Lovely place and stocked with anything you could need in the kitchen. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Great spot- fun yard games. Only trouble was internet and she was attentive and it’s getting fixed for future stays! Kitchen had all you needed! Beautiful full moon and sunrise location!

We enjoyed our stay at this cozy cabin. We always appreciate a dog friendly property and boy did the dogs have fun! The road around the lake is great for walking and we enjoyed all the yard games too. The kitchen, linens, etc were all well-stocked, and the beds were comfortable. It was nice to have laundry as well. I didn’t need to communicate with the host as everything was as it should be and check in was easy.

The cabin was clean and had a well stocked kitchen with cooking utensils and accessories which made cooking easy.
We enjoyed the games and the bin of beach toys which was a huge plus for us with little kids. Check in was very easy and Kate was very responsive to messages and answering our questions.
Overall 5 stars, everything was as pictured except for the beach which was somewhat overgrown.

This cabin was so clean, well kept and very comfortable. It is well stocked with kitchen supplies, paper products, and towels. It was so pleasant not to have to pack all those additional items. The property was wonderful was so peaceful and had a beautiful view of the lake. The lake, however, was so reedy that we were not able to go in the water. That was a bit disappointing.

We spent 3 nights at Kate’s cabin. My husband, 5 year old and myself. The cabin is great, it has everything you coukd need, well stocked kitchen, lots of pillows, blankets, towels. We had some rain move through a couple of times so it was nice to have a smart tv, dvds and games in the cabin. The yard is huge and level making it perfect for yard games. The small little beach area was shallow/sandy and worked nice for our 5 year old, kind of weedy as you get further out but still good for floating the day away in tubes/kayaks. Our kiddo had a blast chasing after all of the little fish by the dock. We enjoyed our stay, we didn’t have to touch base with Kate other than at check-out which is a testament to how well she runs her rental! Check-in was a breeze. We would love to come stay again some time in the future.

A comfortable, clean, and private space. The lake access was the bonus of this rental. Shell Lake was peaceful and offered lots of great fishing. My teens were in a battle for most fish. The town was close with lots of eating options. Swimming was best at the public beach less than 2 miles away. The rental also had paddle boards, volleyball net, disc golf, and horseshoes. The family also enjoyed the indoor games. We highly recommend this place.

My husband and I rented this cabin for a short ice fishing trip. It was in a great location for where we wanted to be on the lake. The cabin was clean and comfortable. The mud room was very convenient for our ice fishing clothes. We had a trailer with a 4-wheeler on it so the large parking area that was plowed was really nice to have. Also being right next to the public boat landing was great for getting the 4-wheeler out in the lake. The cabin is decorated with puzzles that have been completed by the family o er the years. I really loved seeing that.

We had a wonderful vacation even though halfway through our stay we lost Wifi and TV. Kate responded very fast and tried everything she could to get it fixed for us but they couldn't send out a technician to fix the issue until after our stay was over. Kate was kind enough to give us a partial refund for the inconvenience of not having internet or TV. But the house has everything you need and we brought some movies and luckily they had a DVD player. Games and puzzles, fishing. We had a wonderful time!! It was so wonderful to stay at a place that had no stairs since I'm in a wheelchair and could easily maneuver through the house and outside. Will definitely come back!! Kate was a wonderful host!!

Wonderful stay and perfect for all ages! We loved the flat yard and access to lake. Really thought of every detail to make our stay comfortable. Such a great location too! We also really appreciated being able to take our dog who is a part of our family.

Excellent for family
We had such a great time at this cabin. We have three kids (7, 5 and 2) and it was a wonderful setup. The kids loved the bunk beds. Love the open concept and space to hang out inside when we were eating/relaxing. The smart tv and Wi-Fi were nice for us as parents so kids could still watch cartoons and such when we needed them to take a break. The beach area and shallow water was awesome for our young kids. My oldest loved the fishing right off the doc! There is also a ton of privacy on the lot. Super quiet, lots of wildlife and very nice setting. Only 5 mins into town for ice cream and the public beach and park. Only 2 min from Potters Shed for coffee. We’ve already booked for next year. Thanks Kate!

We had a wonderful family get away! Our pup had a great time swimming in the lake and running around the big yard! House was clean and the beds were very comfortable. Wish the fishing had been better, but the weather wasn’t great for it. Would definitely stay here again!

Great Lakeside Retreat
Our out of state son was flying in with buddies to ski the Birkie. This cabin’s location allowed us to cheer him as he started, cheer mid point, return to the cabin to let our dog out and be at the finish in Hayward to see him!! Well stocked clean cabin with everything we needed. Sunrises over the lake we’re absolutely stunning!!

We really enjoyed our Christmas vacation stay at this property! It was very clean and well stocked for us and our children.
It is an ideal location. It is just enough by itself to be private and yet has plenty for shopping close by or for eating out!

The Perfect Place to Get Away
The cabin was well maintained and had lots of games and activities to keep us busy. We took a few nice paddles around the lake and caught some bass and northerners. We also saw several bald eagles which was pretty neat. The fall colors were excellent as well! Overall a great trip!

Nice clean place. The air smells so nice with the autumn scents and the night sky was great. Saw a couple shooting stars. Neighbors are all very friendly. We took a couple of day trips to Hayward and the Apostle Islands. Very nice peaceful time.

Have stayed here before and had just another fabulous trip. The only difficulty we had was docking the boat with the low water but made it work.
