Lots of room for my family of 3 . Very clean and decorated beautifully. Love both pools. Rooftop and bottom main pool late morning. Very close to the beach with a peak of a view but super close to walk to. We really enjoyed our stay. The only thing I would change is how much maintenance came without us knowing. They would just walk in almost every day and we would have no idea that they were there until we would just see them walking up the stairs. We felt that we didn’t have privacy and most times I was in my bathing suit sometimes walking out of the bedroom and surprised with a man or men walking in. We just expected more privacy for expensive as it was. We felt like they were keeping an eye out for us to make sure we were taking care of there place. Maid came 3 times a week to clean which we thought was obsessive because there was just the 3 of us and my 3 pound service dog. Otherwise everything else was awesome and we would return again but I would want to know when maintenance was coming to work on something. Rooms and bathrooms were great. There was a few hippcups but all in all it was a fantastic place to stay and enjoy ourselves with family. We have over 30 properties ourselves that we do long term rental with,so I wanted to give my honest review. It can be extremely challenging and stressful with tenants so my husband and I do a lot of vacations when we can. This was our first trip to Mexico bringing my youngest daughter so it was a special trip for us.

We had a great time at the villa. The pictures are very accurate. The house is very clean with high quality linens, dishes, etc. Ivonne and Fili were very nice and helpful. We found some great places to eat and drink. We are already talking about going back!

We had such a wonderful time staying at Casa de la Pescada Blanca (Pescada Blanca as it's affectionately known). The house is exactly as described and had everything we needed for cooking and activities. It felt more like a home than a rental. It's steps to the beach and a short walk to town. Ivonne, the concierge, was very attentive and helped with any transportation we needed. Lili and Fili were also very attentive at keeping the house clean and making sure the pools were clean and everything else worked perfectly. The owners were also very helpful during the reservation process. We would, without a doubt, stay again at this house.

Everything was flawless from meeting Ivonne upon arrival to the attentiveness of Fili, the caretaker, to the incredible rooftop and beautiful kitchen and and the beach just steps away. Couldn’t have asked for a better place for our family gathering! Couldn’t be more pleased! Thank you!

This casa has it all, rooftop pool, close to 5th Avenue, close to the beach. Walk to everything. The house is in a private neighborhood that has 24/7 security at the entrance and roaming about the whole community on motorcycles and bikes. Ivonne the concierge was very helpful and directed us to the best places to eat.

This is a fantastic property in a perfect location: steps from the beach, safe neighborhood, and close to restaurants and shops. The rooftop patio and pool are incredible. The property manager took great care of us, and we would love to come back here again!

From start to finish a splendid experience! Great accommodations, cold A/C, and great communication with house manager. Only con is that you can’t be loud after 10pm but overall a wonderful experience 10/10 would recommend. 👌🏽

I stayed at pescada blanca with my kids for a short from work and despite the rainy days, the house gave us the comfort and refuge for some relaxing days. Check-in process was smooth and responses from the property manager we’re almost instant. I would definately book another stay here.

This is the reason we don't stay in AI hotels!
This was our first visit to the area and we can't wait to come back! The house was perfect for our 3 adult children, my husband, and I. Ivonne was soooo helpful. We had Dos Marias come back a few times, they were so good. The beds were comfy, the rooms are spacious, and the AC worked great!
The location in playacar was ideal. We easily walked to 5th Ave., the ferry to Cozumel, and restaurants. The rooftop deck was our favorite gathering spot in the evenings. This is the reason we don't stay in AI hotels. The house provided the relaxed family time that I was hoping for.

Everything was Perfect!
Everything about this property & Staff were amazing and better than advertised!
Its hard to pinpoint our favorite part of the house but I would have to say the Roof top is going to be hard to beat! We spent a ton of time on the roof top hanging in the pool that has the most amazing views of the white sand beach and unbelievably clear blue waters. Watching/listening the waves, listening to music on the whole house Sonos stereo system, cooking out, being waited on etc etc was just something we wil never forget!.
For those like our family that have always stayed at the resorts, I will say that staying at this property has raised the bar and will most likely never stay at a resort again! "why would you?" said everyone in my group!
I could go on and on but here's my quick overview of the house. The rooms were huge, custom lighting and whole house stereo was top notch, coldest air-conditioning we have EVER has ANYWHERE we have traveled, two pools was just unbelievable and views were just amazing. The short 75' walk to the beach is SIMPLE and was just another reason this property was so enjoyable.
The gated community was very secure and is a very short walk into town which we did more than once a day! The location is perfect!
The staff was equal or better than the views/house itself! Ivonne Martinez the house manager made this trip so enjoyable for my family by having EVERYTHING set up just like we discussed! From the transportation to and from the airport, ensuring the house was always clean, coordinating the onsite chef's "The Mariah's", etc etc etc, she was always a quick text /phone call away!
We took her advise and had the Mariah's come to the house everyday and cook for us. I strongly recommend you take advantage of this service as it was not only the best food we have ever had while being in Mexico but also was an absolute pleasure just getting to meet and get to know them.
If you want to be the hero on your next vacation then all I can say is to book this property! My family has been all over the world and everyone of them said that this was a trip they will never forget and is in their top 3 ever.

Great house with a great location!
Two families fit perfectly. Private property in gated community. Felt very safe at all times. The pools were awesome! Ivonne and Fili were super helpful and available. The Maria’s, cooking service, was _amazing_! Made the trip more relaxed and enjoyable. Only negative was sadly the seaweed on the beach, obviously not their fault, just wish the Playcar folks cleaned it up, and the Wi-Fi that kept dropping. Otherwise an amazing place and great services and amenities! Thanks for a great vacation week!

Great stay!
We had a fantastic stay! The neighborhood was safe and private, but accessible to the main attractions in the area, as well as the beach. The property contact, Ivonne, was extremely helpful and communicative all weekend long. We were very thankful for her assistance in making this a great weekend! The property was clean, has great features and a beautiful home. Everyone who we came into contact with at the property, was friendly and helpful!

Wonderful house and services
The house is one short block from the beach. You can see and hear the ocean from the house. The house is just as pictured: spacious and very pretty. It was a 10-15 minute walk to town with slow walkers. We loved the rooftop pool for night and the ground pool for day because it was cooler. The owner Scott and the concierge Ivonne were very helpful at all times. We used the driving service that Scott suggested and Felipe and Carlos were wonderful and dependable. We also booked the private dinners at the house for a couple nights and the food on both nights was the best food we ate during our entire stay. I can't say enough about our accommodations. I agonized for weeks over the best place for us and I am so glad I picked this one. The only recommendation I would have is more lighting on the roof top. The rooftop pool and lounge area were gorgeous with a beautiful view of the beach and a great set-up for grilling and eating outside. But we didn't have enough light to see past 8:00 or so if we wanted to play cards or eat outside. (Unless we missed some lights somewhere). But everything was top notch at Pestana Blanca! Thank you to Scott and all who made our stay fantastic!

Birthday celebration
We booked this property to celebrate our daughters 21st birthday. We took a couple of our friends and she took 3 of her friends. We had a total of 8 people. The house provided an excellent layout for sleeping arrangements, entertaining and relaxation. The location of the house was perfect. It was a short walking distance to the beach and 5th Avenue. The neighborhood was a gated community and everyone was so friendly. The staff was amazing. We were given all the contact information we needed prior to our arrival so that we could set up transportation arrangements, groceries, and excursions. We will definitely be coming back.

Louie's 70th Family Birthday Celebration
We had an amazing stay at Pescado Blanca. The location in Playa Car is perfect. Easy walk to town, beach literally outside your door. The house was great for our family. There were 4 couples and two toddlers, 16 months and 28 months. Everyone had there own room. I liked the set up with the three bedrooms downstairs and the one bedroom upstairs on the main level. The large living space worked out great for all of us. Plenty of room for the kids to play and the kitchen was part of this space which made cooking easy. The roof top deck is the winner. We spent most of our time hanging out on the roof, in the pool and enjoying the view. The downstairs pool was much bigger and a very fun place for all of us to cool off. It was very hot while we were there, so having great air conditioning made a huge difference. Ivonne and Philly were very helpful, they greeted us with a big welcome when we arrived. Ivonne, helped us arrange for a cook for two nights. What a treat, Norma and her team made us delicious mexican food. I highly recommend doing this for at least one night. The one thing I would say is that there are a lot of stairs, which can be a little difficult for older people and young children. All in all we had a great experience and would highly recommend this property.

It was exactly as promised, and the caretaker and concierge were so prompt in helping us and answering any questions, we felt right at home. We loved going to the beach and walking into town. A few nights we took a taxi home from dinner. We felt very safe and secure at all times. It is a beautiful place to stay and a good value. Can't wait to go back again.

Fantastic House!
This house was clean, great amenities and is within one block from the beach and within walking distance from downtown. Felipe, our driver, was like family. He set us up with a snorkel trip and drove us to Tulum for a Mayan ruin tour.We did not spend one second worrying about logistics, he took care of everything!
I am recommending this home to all of my friends who are considering a trip to Mexico!

This is our second stay at Casa de la Pescada Blanca & we loved it just as much as the first time! The house is so beautiful inside & out that we spent most days there without even venturing into Playa. Can't Imagine Ever Staying Anywhere Else
This was our third Mexican vacation, and by far the best. We'll never go to an all-inclusive again, now that we've been spoiled.
We had friends stay in this home, plus we read through all the info, but nothing prepared us for how incredibly amazing this place is. We had four adults and two teens in the house for 10 days, and we all had our own space, plus extra. Two private pools! The kids spent most of their time in the ground level pool--their room opened directly onto the patio--and we spent most of our time on the roof, either in the pool, on the cushy lounges in the shade, or sunning. From the roof, there's a spectacular view of the ocean, surrounding trees and gorgeous homes all around.
Laundry, full kitchen, 4 bathrooms, loads of beach towels, a TV in every room. Literally everything we needed was there. There's even a rooftop grill and dining area. Housekeeper Lily took good care of us--she even washed our dishes--and concierge Veronica handled any needs we had, including setting up a snorkeling excursion in Cozumel (be sure to do that-- it was a truly lovely day). She arranged a taxi to Walmart, where we got enough food and drinks to have the option to cook if we wanted to.
The main "tourist" stretch is a quick walk through the gated community. (For the record, we felt incredibly safe the whole time. Security was always around.) There are a million incredible restaurants (and places to buy basics like bread, eggs, tequila, limes) in easy walking distance, plus LOTS of shopping, from high end designers to trinkets and souvenirs. But the FOOD. The dollar goes far in Mexico right now, and we had some seriously incredible meals for some seriously low prices.
We had an amazing experience. Wouldn't change a thing! Go! Enjoy!

Great property with fantastic rooftop deck
We were a family of 5 from Chicago. The house is great. The beds are super comfortable, the air conditioning works well, there are HDTVs in each room and plenty of kitchen supplies if you choose to cook. Our favorite parts were by far the rooftop deck which is breezy and has a small plunge pool for cooling off and a sound system to crank the music ! We also Love the location of the house which is very close to the beach and also very close to fifth Avenue but far enough away from the noise and the crowd so that you felt like you were in a peaceful vacati N spot. Victoria at BRIC was very helpful and Scott, the owner, was helpful with some tips as well. We were able to easily arrange transportation, day trips and obtain restaurant ideas from Veronica and the owner. The home had everything we needed and was super comfortable and in a great location. Each night, we strolled to Fifth Avenue and enjoyed a different restaurant. A few nights, Veronica organized a chef to prepare authentic Mexican meals which were terrific. We would go back in a heartbeat. Scott and Larry, thank you for sharing your home with us !

We go to Playa often, this trip we spent the first couple days in a rooftop penthouse down town and thought it was great until we moved into Pescada Blanca. Pescada Blanca was much more comfortable and we loved the rooftop. A great property.

It is the perfect place to stay in Playa del Carmen: close to be the beach, close to town, and a rooftop living area that is pretty spectacular.
