La cuisine est équipée avec tous les ustensiles de cuisine; vaisselle, argenterie, assiettes, bols, casseroles, poêles, ustensiles de cuisson, cafetière, grille-pain, micro-ondes. Clean, comfortable, and just a lovely place to stay. Within walking distance to downtown and a five minute walk to a grocery store.

Had a wonderful stay here! Smelled like pumpkin spice as we walked to the front door. There was enough room for 4 adult women and all our things for a long weekend. The kitchen was stocked and had a lot of stuff to cook with as far as appliances go. The only downfalls were that there was a lot of little bugs at the front of the property, but seemed to be a thing around town too. Another thing is the manager asked for a drivers license to be sent via text to their personal number and wouldn’t allow it to be sent through the app because they said it wouldn’t go through. So be aware of that if you want to book this place. Super cute town and super responsive to questions. Thanks for a great weekend!

This VRBO was fabulous! Perfectly located close to Luther college and walking distance to downtown Decorah. The check-in process was easy, and Bruce was excellent & quick with communication. We will definitely stay here again. I appreciated the well stocked kitchen, lots of towels, comfortable beds and a wonderful washer & dryer. Also, it was super clean. It’s a very comfortable place to stay, and I highly recommended it!

Great place, quiet, close to downtown
Very nice place, has everything you need. Liked the double couches in the living room. Quiet location. Just 2-3 blocks from downtown so easy walk to shopping and dining. First vrbo property that we've been in that supplied tissues (thanks for the little things). Bathroom could be tight if you are a larger person. If you need A/C there is a great mini-split system, but no central air, so you'll have to keep the bedroom doors open if it is really hot. Second bedroom is pretty tight for keeping an open suitcase (no closet), but there is space in the hallway for that if needed. Plenty of parking. Would definitely stay again. Owner requires a photo id, which wasn't mentioned in the listing, so just keep that in mind.

I stayed here with five old cross country teammates for a weekend visit to Decorah/Luther, and we all had a wonderful time! The space was homey and stocked with everything we needed -- bedding, toiletries, pots & pans to make dinner, etc. The neighborhood was nice and close to downtown. Check-in and check-out were very easy and communication with Bruce & Kaleen was great. Thank you! :)

Cutest house for a great weekend getaway!
We loved this historic home and all of its charm for our adults only weekend away! It was the perfect amount of space for the 6 of us, and the location was close to everything, but on a quiet street in the adorable town of Decorah! Thanks for sharing it with us!

Perfect weekend getaway
We couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend the weekend. Comfortable beds, two kinds of coffee machines, and close proximity to downtown Decorah. Bruce was so helpful in giving us recommendations about local spots to try (it’s been a while since some of us attended Luther . . . ) Thank you so much for allowing us to stay in your beautiful property. Met all of our needs for a long weekend in Decorah. Walkable Neighborhood, comfortable outdoor seating area, off street parking, plenty of towels and functional kitchen. Would book again if opportunity presents.

Three-generation girls' weekend at Day Street Suites
We traveled from adjoining states to spend the weekend in Decorah. Day Street Suites did not disappoint! The historic mansion has been meticulously renovated and provided a comfortable place for us to rest, visit, and reconnect. The beds were comfortable (including the hide-a-bed), the kitchen and bathroom were well-stocked, the wifi was free, and the home was centrally located near downtown. Bruce contacted me prior to our visit to share information about the property, suggest restaurants, and instruct us to "simply have a good time." We definitely did!

My friends and I rented out both suites and loved it! There was 12 of us and it was a perfect amount of space. Both suites were very clean, the location is great, and check in/check out was simple.

Exactly what we needed
The space was enough for the 4 of us to sleep comfortably for our annual golf trip to Decorah. One person slept on an air mattress, another slept on one of the couches and two people slept in the separate beds. We could have utilized the sleeper sofa as well, but it wasn't necessary. It was nice to have off street parking.
