We headed back to Decorah a second year in a row for a girls weekend and back to the same house. It’s so cozy and works perfect for our relaxing winter get away!

We had a wonderful time! The home was clean and charming, beds were comfortable. Great walking distance to downtown. Would definitely stay again!

I didn’t need much but Tusen Takk was great. Very clean, easy access, good communication and very convenient. Above and beyond my expectations.

Location was close to fairgrounds where wedding reception was held. Close to restaurants. Great communication with owner. She answered questions promptly and was helpful. House was Clean and organized. Clear directions given. Great place to stay!

The Tusen Takk house was adorable! It was clean, cozy, and decorated and renovated so beautifully! Our hosts were also very easy to work with and very responsive to our needs. We were in town for a funeral and it was so nice to be able to stay together here. Decorah is such a beautiful town, we only wished we could have stayed longer! We'll be back and highly recommending Tusen Takk to our family and friends

My group of four friends had the nicest stay at this property. Great location, blocks from the main street, comfy beds, quiet, had everything we needed. Even saw deer roaming the neighborhood. Highly recommend.

Property was clean and quaint. We went to a wedding in the area and it was only a short walk from the main strip in Decorah back to the property. We would stay again for sure!

Tusen Takk was a great home base for our girls trip! The decor is cozy, the house is tucked in a quiet area, and we were really close to everything.

This was the first time we stayed in a VRBO. This house looked exactly like the photos. Super clean and cute!! So nicely decorated. There was plenty of room for the four of us. We appreciated the details/little things the owner has done. Ice cubes in the freezer, a binder with tons of local information, instructions for checking out, chocolates in a bowl and the history behind the name of the house. We ordered in food, from the list of local places in the binder, and hung out in the living room. All the food places were close by and you could walk to other establishments if you wanted. Owner also responded quickly to messages and was very helpful and friendly. We would highly recommend this VRBO, we all loved it.

Overnight getaway for 3 friends. This home worked great for us. Very clean, comfortable beds, a spot for us outside to enjoy our morning cup of coffee, and lots of cute decor. We enjoyed playing albums on the record player. Will stay here again if in the area.

An incredibly better option than a hotel!!

We were so impressed with the Tusen Takk home. Janice was extremely accommodating; she allowed us to check in early even though she had a glitch with her cleaning service and the house was so cute and clean. The kitchen was well-stocked enough and they even had coffee available (which was perfect because I'd forgotten to buy grounds)! Instructions about checkin/ checkout were clear. My kids LOVED the old fashioned record player and games. AND... my 8 year old left her all time favorite blankie & teddy bear here; we were able to contact them and she rush-shipped it for us the following day. We're so appreciative. Would definitely recommend and I'd stay here again if we're in town!

Very cute and cozy house - our two girls loved the upstairs bedrooms. We walked to get ice cream in town. Nice area for a one night stay to break up our long drive.

This place was great… clean.. well located… easy to communicate with owner/manager. It was more difficult than I expected just having one bathroom… and the stair case was a bit steep with short stairs… but it was very well set up to be a VRBO… and I loved the old turntable and records!! We had fun with that!

A nicely updated older home. Had everything we needed. We will stay again.

This lovely red house had everything we needed for a fun midweek get together with old friends. The kitchen was very well equipped, including good pans, baking utensils, etc. The living room was a highlight, the pictures say it all. We are seniors so it's good to know that 2 bedrooms are up and the bath is on the main floor with the 3rd bedroom. It was ok for us. Nice neighborhood, close to downtown but very quiet. Everything was in good condition and we were very cosy and would definitely come back.

Tusen Takk had plenty of room for four adults. The property was clean and well-equipped. There's also a strong WiFi signal throughout the home. Communication was excellent and we hope to stay here again in the future.

We had a relaxing weekend staying at Tussen Tak close to downtown Decorah ! The house was very clean and we had a comfortable stay for 3 nights . We will definitely consider this rental the next time we visit the area !

Tusen Takk was a pleasant place to stay for four people, and could accommodate more. The rooms are bright and clean, with abundant coffee, kitchen ware, beds, even games and books. Wi-fi and keypad worked well, too. Instructions were clear and well-communicated. Thanks for the stay!

Everything was just great! Close to downtown which we enjoyed shopping and eating at Mabes. Loved the record player!
