Room was clean, provided the basic amenities, basic bed, modern shower. Location was close to metro, bars and restaurants.

Nice and clean place

It was insanely hot when I arrived to my room, so much so that I couldn’t be in the room without dripping in sweat, and the air conditioner was barely working. When I asked the staff about it, she seemed apathetic and didn’t offer any help or solutions.

The vibe was great

The hotel room was well located & situated on a quiet street walking distance from Shinjuku. The rooms were well decorated, clean and safe. There was a Family Mart across the street open 24hr and the staff were happy to store our bags on check-out.

Unfortunately our room 201 had a very strong damp smell. We understood that this is an issue in Japan but nevertheless it was unpleasant - our travel friends room however did not, so we understand this may be a isolated issue.

Favourite place to stay in our trip to Japan. Simple room design, modern with everything you need. Clean! Staff friendly and helpful despite language barrier.

6th floor outside balcony was stunning

Very spacious, clean, and quiet. A beautiful room at a great location!

I loved everything.

Rooms were cute and tidy. Although there was a bad smell coming from the air conditioner which made us cut our stay short.

Staff were very apologetic about the bad smell coming from the air conditioning unit and said they would check it but didn’t tell us in what capacity; we’d expect them to have hired a professional to look at the unit and make sure the smell wasn’t due to a something toxic like a gas leak, or mould. We were given a different room on our second night which was very nice and smelled fine, but we were required to go back to our smelly room for the remaining four nights of our stay since the place was booked out. Not knowing what the cause of the smell was from, or whether or not it was going to be fixed, we decided to leave. Worst case scenario was the room was unsafe, and best case scenario our room smelled like sewage and dirty socks. We’re currently trying to get a refund for the four nights we did not stay. If you’re not unlucky enough to get room 502 your stay will probably be pleasant.

Good value in great location. However in winter, the aircon does not provide the needed warmth. All in all I would still recommend.
