Joe and Pattie's home is a wonderful place from which to enjoy the beauty of Cape Cod and the islands.
The rooms were clean, the beds comfy, the towels (well worth the extra) were soft, the sofas broad and enveloping, and the kitchen modern, with everything we needed (even, for British visitors, a kettle!) And the kids were very grateful for the smart TV and the fast wifi...The basement with washer and separate drier were a godsend. The biggest success was the brand new (and quiet!) air conditioning units in the bedrooms. The gardens are actually quite large - large enough to throw a new american football around, and the gas BBQ was easy to operate. A lovely touch is the outdoor shower, which we used to get rid of the sand and salt from beach trips, but which was private enough to be your main option if you wanted a bit of Maldives-style al fresco experience each day.
From the very first contact, our hosts were sending helpful advice and information - things to see, stuff to do, places to eat, where to park, how much to expect to pay, what to do when it rains (and despite the scorchingly hot weather, it still did occasionally). The board games provided even managed to get the kids off their phones when we were stuck inside one day. If we had questions (which happened a few times) or an issue (just once or twice) then Joe was exceptionally quick to respond.
Overall, a fantastic break, in a home with a lovely feel. If we come back to the Cape, we'd definitely stay here.

Exceptional immaculate interior at this home. Very comfortable and room for a big family. Beds were the most comfortable of 6 Cape rentals in as many years. Walking distance to Main Street shopping and restaurants. Short drive to beaches. Communication with the owner was perfect. We missed having a dryer and a 2nd bath (but there’s an outdoor shower). Recommended!

Pattie and Joe are excellent hosts, all communication in good time, check in and check out straightforward and lots of very helpful tips and recommendations for the local area. Lovely spacious home, quiet neighbourhood, very convenient for Falmouth Main Street and beaches/ferries. Outdoor seating area really made it for us as the weather was beautiful. The outdoor shower was also a hit! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend a stay.

Great Location!
We had a wonderful week on the Cape at Joe’s home. We loved the recent renovations done in the kitchen and living areas. The space was comfortable and the neighborhood nice and quiet. The home is on a street with two entryways. If you go out one way, you end up right on Main Street. If you exit the other way, you end up in the commercial area with groceries, etc to choose from. We loved the outdoor shower and the spacious back deck. The only thing we missed having at the house was a washer and dryer. We highly recommend this home.

Fantastic location for Falmouth area!
Wonderful house in a great location! Our kids were thrilled with the bunk beds and we loved the outdoor shower. House layout was perfect and was stocked with everything we needed. We'll definitely return if we're back in the Falmouth area again.

Beautiful , comfortable home, great location !
Very clean, comfortable, nicely decorated home for 4 adults , a 3 1/2 year old and a 3 month old. The house was walking distance to the playground, carousel and downtown Falmouth. Many great restaurants and shops . The beaches were a 5 minute drive away which we enjoyed in the late afternoon. We had a few very hot days but the bedroom ACs & a large fan in living room were able to cool the whole house . We were very comfortable.
Pattie and Joe, the owners were very responsive to any inquiries that we had during our stay. My whole family was delighted with our stay.

Nice stay with great location!
The house was clean and updated with ample space for the 5 adults with our group. The deck and yard were perfect for the family gathering we hosted. The house was the perfect location in a quiet neighborhood, and only a short walk to the restaurants and shops. Hosts made the stay even better with easy communication and lots of suggestions for local restaurants and beaches.

Lovely Cape Home Close to Everything
This home is lovely - nicely appointed and spotless. The kitchen is well equipped and the yard and deck and fire pit are delightful ( bring your s’mores supplies). It is a short walking distance to Main Street and a bit longer walk to the beach, with many other beaches within a short driving distance. The owners were easy to contact and everything was as they stated it would be.

Wonderful stay close to Falmouth Center
Very easy and straight forward booking process. Home is meticulously kept. Easy walk to downtown Falmouth and close to Shining Sea bike path. The only downside is limited beach parking due to Covid restrictions. Definitely have to get to the beach early for a spot!

Wonderful Week in Falmouth that went by too quickly.....
Nestled on a side road away from the traffic less than two miles from the beach - pleasant sidewalk stroll - is this three bedroom Cape Style ranch house with a wonderful deck for outdoor dining. There is ample parking for four cars and a lovely yard all around. Very private and peaceful. The updated and clean home is replete with beach toys and every kitchen amenity one would want. The lovely shops, restaurant and beach are close, and some of us chose our feet over taking the car to have a closer examination of the homes and friendly people en route. The bedrooms are air-conditioned and comfortable. The outdoor shower was a special treat and kept the sand outside where it belongs. The Stop and Shop and other mall stores are also less than a mile. We would gladly return to this lovely home, whose welcoming nature was only superseded by the gracious, generous and professional owners who were attentive to all our vacation needs! Five adults were very happy to eat, drink and do puzzles until midnight. Bravo!

The house was in a centralized location, was clean and the owner was quick to respond. However, the grill didn’t work well, the washer machine in the basement was not very good, there was no dryer and the dish washer didn't work.

Great Location
This home is in a great location. Set back on a quiet street and walking distance into town. It was very clean and comfortable. There are window units in each bedroom which are quiet and work well and the beds were comfortable. A couple things to note, bed linens and bath towels are not provided. Also, if watching tv is something you like to do in the evening, the number of stations are very limited. No ESPN etc. Overall we really liked the home and location and would definitely go back.

Would stay again
We had a great week at our rental. We loved the house. It is has charming beach decor and room for everyone. There is everything you need to cook a meal and grill. While there is only one bathroom, the outdoor shower is great when everyone is trying to get ready for the day at the same time. I don't think my daughter or I used the indoor shower once. Everything was clean on arrival and our directions for check in were exact. The location is great if you like to walk to everything or if you want to drive. I have never come home this relaxed from a vacation before. Everything about the house was perfect. I would highly recommend renting from Joe and Patti.

Lovely cottage in an ideal location to walk to town and beach
We really enjoyed our stay. Ideal location to walk to town. Very comfortable, open and airy place. Be aware that you should take basics like toilet paper, paper towels, dishwashing liquid, hand soap, dishwasher tablets, garbage bags and other essentials, since there is absolutely nothing provided. Kitchenware is basic - take a tea kettle if you don’t drink coffee and good cooking knives if you are a cook. The WiFi works if you turn on the wall switch, which took us a bit of sleuthing to figure out! Info on arrival and departure was sent on the day of, which might be a problem if you like to plan ahead. The area was new to us and we would absolutely go back to Falmouth again. We were happy that we chose this place to stay.

The holiday of a lifetime!
We recently returned home to Ireland after 12 wonderful days in Joe and Patti's beautiful house in Falmouth. We were visiting the United States for the first time with our three teenaged daughters and could not have picked a more idyllic spot than Falmouth. The house was extremely comfortable and was spotless on arrival,beds were comfortable and the house catered more than adequately in every sense for our family of five. The fabulous deck was the setting for many memorable evening barbecues and we always looked forward to returning home to our lovely house in Falmouth after busy days exploring the Cape. Local culinary finds for us were Devine Pizza in Falmouth village and Jacks Bar and Restaurant which is located within a three minute walk of the house. The highlight for us though came from a recommendation from someone we met out dining one evening, The Lobster Trap in Bourne, about 20 minutes drive away was where we had the most amazing food,so good that we returned there for our final meal before leaving Falmouth. Fantastic day trips included the Sunshine Bike Way to Woods Hole, a day trip to Provincetown and a visit to Martha's Vineyard, all wonderful days out. All my correspondence with Joe was so easy and he gave excellent recommendations for making our visit to Falmouth a memorable one, a happy happy holiday for all of us. Thank you Joe and Patti!

Nice place, conveniently located
My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our weeklong stay. The house is spacious, conveniently located close to beaches, WHOI, several restaurants, and other points of interest. It has a giant yard and a back deck that is ideal for evening BBQs and includes a shower for post-beach rinses. The neighborhood is quiet and easy to find, and the owners were responsive to our calls and requests. We would definitely stay here again.

This was an amazing house and the perfect place for us to spend our first weekend ever on the Cape. We were there for a wedding, and this house was the perfect location for us to walk to town, close to grocery and other conveniences. House has been completely remodeled and the owners are fantastic to work with. I hope we will have another excuse to return to Falmouth!

Classic Cape Cod, Great House with Wonderful Yard
My family and I spent ten days here and they were great. Although not a large house, the layout is great. Bedrooms have plenty of room and the living space is comfortable for relaxing with a book or for a family game night. The kitchen is nice with a large island (might be difficult with younger children, but our two year old did fine).
The backyard and deck are absolutely wonderful. We spent a lot of time sitting on the deck while the kid(s) played in the huge (almost field-sized) back yard.
The house is within walking distance (< 1mile) from the main strip and close to a large grocery store and pharmacy. In addition to all the nearby beaches, we loved swimming at the freshwater lake at Goodwill Park.
This home is prefect for a family or two looking for a relaxing getaway, but being close to many of the local attraction.
The owners (Joe and Patti) we very easy to work with and always responded to our questions within 12-24 hours.

Wonderful, open, sunny house and property!
We rented this wonderful house and loved it! It has a wonderful, friendly open floor plan. Everything in the house is immaculately new, clean and extremely well maintained. There is a deck off of the kitchen to relax in and enjoy the sun and family meals. The house sits on a large property which makes it ideal for children to run around in, set up a volley ball net, etc. There is a long driveway for easy parking. The proximity to Main Street is amazing. We loved walking into town every morning for coffee and pastries at a great French bakery on Main street. The beaches are minutes away. The house is perfectly located in town. We would definitely rent this house again.

Fantastic location, beautifully cared for home
Upon arrival we were pleasantly surprised by the large private yard and deck with lots of space. This home was spotless. The open layout was spacious and bright with a nice cross beeeze when the windows were open. The outside shower was fantastic. We walked to Main Street and the beach every morning followed by having our morning coffee and breakfast on Main Street where there were many restaurants and an incredible bakery. A must try. Our family had a wonderful week and would highly recommend this home.

Fantastic location and lovely home
We like to bike, and this home was a quick ride to the bike path (either on Surf Dr or at the intersection of Jones St). It was a quick walk or ride on the bike into town for dinner, too. My 9yo son was in fishing camp most mornings, which left from Falmouth Harbor, also very close to the house. He loved the soccer goals and the big yard to play in as well.
It was cool and poured one day during our week, and we had plenty of room to play games and lie around reading. The kitchen could use a few staples (vegetable peeler, a good paring or chopping knife) but overall lots of pots and pans and dishes to work with. There isn't a microwave so be aware of that if your family relies on one heavily (ours doesn't so we were fine).
The house is well-cared for and newly refinished. Nice cross ventilation with the windows open and the option of air conditioning in the bedrooms if it is too warm/humid. It's also not at all damp. I have terrible mold allergies, and cottages on the Cape often have damp basements, making for a less pleasant vacation for me. But this house was dry despite a day of downpours.
