Regardez le lever du soleil tropical de chaque pièce! Un condominium de luxe situé à l'Alexander. Notre condo est typiquement muni d'un balcon incroyable qui offre une vue magnifique de la voie navigable inter-côtier de deux Miami et l'océan Atlantique.
L'hôtel Alexander subit d'importants travaux de rénovation visant à améliorer non seulement la structure extérieure (achevée en décembre 2018), mais également à embellir notre intérieur. Malheureusement, les travaux de rénovation devraient se poursuivre jusqu'en mai-juin 2019. Il y aura un certain niveau de bruit pendant cette période, ainsi que des changements dans les services et les équipements offerts. Nous proposons toujours des déjeuners et des boissons au bar de la piscine. La boutique de cadeaux propose également une variété de sandwichs et de salades fraîches, ainsi que des produits d'épicerie. La piscine inférieure avec deux jacuzzis est toujours ouverte et il y a un accès direct à la plage privée depuis cette piscine. Ce travail sera effectué entre 9 h et 17 h du lundi au samedi. Nous nous excusons pour ce désagrément, mais malheureusement, cela est nécessaire.

The Hotel is fabulous and the pools are super…but if you’re expecting the apartment to be like the photo, then you’ll be disappointed. As the receptionist told us- “they’re just STOCK photos”…
The apartment we got, needed some furniture adding to make it feel more VRBO style…it just had beds, a table and a sofa (maybe that is Miami minimalist style)
Also small things like the dishwasher handle just fell off, shower door handles lose….
In summary - just a little apartment TLC needed. 👍 rest of hotel / complex was 👍

Sylvia is a wonderful host and very responsive. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this unit and would not hesitate to return. The views were beautiful. In one direction you see the ocean. In the other direction you see the Intercoastal and the Miami skyline. There is a beautiful ocean walk right behind the hotel.
Perfect for walking, running, biking, etc. We used it almost every day. Parking was easy at the municipal lot two blocks away and much cheaper than valet. We paid $10.00 per day rather than the $30 valet charge. Be aware that if you leave on a sunny day, when others are flocking to the beach, you may lose your parking spot. Other reviews mentioned concerns about slow elevators. We never had a problem with them. Check in time and departure time are obviously going to be busy times at the elevators but we never had to wait more than a few minutes. The beds were comfortable, the furniture was comfortable. Check in was easy. Because we knew this was a rental unit and not a "hotel room" we came prepared to replace any items that may have run out during our stay. There is a Publix Store nearby to purchase whatever you may need. The front desk will not provide additional towels. Having seen this concern in a previous review, I just brought some of my own. There is a washer and dryer on the floor. Be sure to bring quarters as they will not provide them at the front desk. There have been some updates to the condo itself. Other areas (bathrooms) of the unit were older but adequate. I look forward to returning to Miami Beach and would not hesitate to book this unit again. Thank you Sylvia!

Nice apartment
This is a nice 2 bedroom apt north of South Beach. The complex was spacious with a beautiful view of the beach on one side and marina on the other. Pool and access to beach is right there! There was a little bit of noise from the work being done in the building but we didn’t mind. Only downside for us is that access to food was a ways away. But overall we were happy with our stay and our host was very responsive and helpful! Will def. Recommend.

Problems
We walked into the unit & kitchen sink was running & toilets hadn’t been flushed. Floors were visibly dirty. Linens were missing in bathroom & hotel desk staff was less than helpful. Couch torn on armrest, garbage can broken, electrical plug in in master bath with wires exposed. Great location & views. Well stocked supply of beach gear was great. Property manager Sylvia was responsive to our concerns. The property needs to be deep cleaned & updated.

They have the most unhelpful staff of any hotel I’ve ever been to. We didn’t have enough washcloths in our suite for everyone, and they wouldn’t even give us 1 extra washcloth. They basically told us that isn’t their problem since we booked through private reservations. Another big reason we didn’t enjoy our stay at this suite is because most of the week we were without hot water. My friends and I will never stay at a Vrbo in this hotel ever again.

Pleasant stay in 1107. Clean & updated. Beautiful view from deck. Construction outside was not bothersome. Drinks are a little expensive, but a lot of Miami is the same. Staff were pleasant. A lot of kids at pool. Beach was beautiful and fairly quiet.

Not Impressed
The condo unit itself was just ok, it was not overally clean and is in need of some updating. The master bedroom bed was not comfortable. The bluiding the unit is in is disgusting and just gross. The check in process was a pain in the butt no one at the front desk knew what was going and I finally fot a hold of the owner to help with the process. This was my first VRBO and I am not sure I will go that route again. I would not recommend this unit to anyone. Not worth the money.

My Alexander Hotel Stay
Great place to stay. The health cub is being renovated but still have workout machines and weights to use. The room is very clean and great view of the ocean.

A beautiful apartment in a great spot.
This is a lovely location close to everything with good cheap or free public transportation and a great beach. The ongoing repairs both inside and out are the only downside and I'm sure temporary. We wholeheartedly enjoyed it.

Modern Mid-Beach Condo
We had a lovely stay at this mid-beach condo......Silvia was very easy to work with and responsive with my questions. The condo is very nice and well-appointed, with really beautiful views. Beds were comfortable and having sample-sized shampoos and soaps, etc. was a very nice touch. As an aside, my sons and husband loved the empanadas for sale in the first floor gift shop, just fantastic.

I would give it five stars but the property is undergoing major renovations on the pool and outside areas. The halls are in need of upgrade, refreshing too. Our condo was just fine inside. There is one small pool you can use for now.

I highly recommend this place for a girls trip.
I rented this place for my 40th with 7 of my closest girlfriends. It was located close to the beach, near great restaurants and nightlife. The condo is clean, and spacious. The decor was great as well. I highly recommend!

Great place with Wonderful Views of both the Ocean and the Intercoastal Waterway
Great place to enjoy a relaxing vacation. Beach was located only steps from the pool. We didn't notice the construction noise until our check out day on Monday. It would have been nice to be notified of the wifi password and where the beach chairs were located in the welcome package we received via email. The bed in the master bedroom was not great but after a long day exploring Miami Beach it was not really that big of a deal. Overall it was a pleasant place to stay with a lot of room to spread out and fantastic views of water in both directions. We are going to try and book again, after the construction is completed.

Perfect Compromise
Even though The Alexander is under construction the location and beach access made this condo a fabulous place to stay. The beach was way more calm and relaxing than those in South Beach yet we were still a quick Uber ride away from the nighttime attractions. The views of the beach and the bay from our unit were amazing. Both the condo owner and hotel staff were very accommodating before and throughout our trip . Would definitely like to come back once the building renovations are completed too!

Very nice rooms, construction not a big deal.
Suite was in very good condition, pretty much exactly as it appears in the photos. The construction at the hotel was not really an issue. There was some faint noise from work being done, scattered workers around and some areas in the lobby cordoned off with plastic sheets. Only one pool was open. All of that being said, we were not bothered at all by the construction and hardly noticed it when lounging by the pool.
Sylvia was great to work with. She emailed us a detailed and informative information package with a lot of useful info on the hotel and surrounding area. Also had a very nice welcome basket in the room when we checked in.
Would not hesitate to stay there again. Looks like it is going to be very nice when all of the work is done.
BTW. Sylvia owns two suites. With the size of our group we rented both of them. So, if you notice that this is the exact same review as her other suite it's because I wrote one overall review and copied and pasted. Not sure if that makes me efficient or lazy :-)
