Awesome place. Loved the fenced in yard for the pup. We had daily visits from mule deer and chipmunks that he loved to chase after. Plenty of room, the kitchen was well stocked and the den was awesome - nice big tv and comfy furniture. Large king sized bed with its own AC unit in the master. Well stay here again.

Property location is perfect for proximity to the places we were going, and quiet. Even with the stairs were not a problem for us. It was so nice to stay in this home and have all of the pleasantries of home. Would definitely recommend especially if you enjoy staying active and don’t mind stairs.

We've been to Pagosa at least 4 times, and this was our best stay yet. The house is very comfortable, the king bed is also very comfortable, all the cooking supplies you need, convenient gas grill, handy washer/dryer/dishwasher. Garage space a big bonus and we loved the location. Nicer than staying in town in our opinion & puts you closer to the hikes out Piedra road, which are the best we think. Enjoyed the birds, animals and swing chair in the back yard. Great views from the living room and front deck. Definitely recommend highly.

Nice house, good location. We have stayed in this home before and both times found that it suited our needs well. Things that were important to our stay: Rooms/washer and dryer/garage/kitchen. 3 bedrooms- my boys shared bedroom #2 and my daughter used the room with the bunk bed. The bathroom on the lower level was a good size for them to share. Washer and dryer on that level were helpful to keep all their things down on that level. The kitchen was adequately stocked with cooking supplies. The fireplace was nice to cozy up to when returning from the slopes. The garage barely fit my Ford Explorer but we like staying in a place with a garage so that don't have to deal with car prep before hitting the slopes. Everything was in working order and communication with the owner was easy and timely. I would have no hesitation about staying here again.

The property is very nice, well furnished, and the kitchen is complete with anything you may need. It was very clean, instructions were clear and the owners were very responsive. The decks and yard were great with lots of deer in the yard. A great location and very nice house. We enjoyed our stay!!

This house is very well stocked with kitchen, bath, and bedroom essentials. The arrival and departure process was simple and easy. The location in the Pagosa Lakes neighborhood is very convenient to city shopping and great mountain hiking trails.
We stayed 11 nights. It was really pleasant; the second floor living room is like staying in a deluxe tree house. We would be happy to return.

Great experience
The warm and cozy vacation home of Mr. and Mrs. White provided my wife and I with the perfect location to enjoy our hiking trip in the Pagosa Springs area. Watching deer meander in the landscaped backyard patio during breakfast or relaxing with a glass of wine on the front deck after a long day of hiking was delightful. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils that made breakfast preparation a snap. A minor snag at check-in was quickly resolved and the whites gave us a generous credit that we used for a delicious dinner one evening. This home is a “must stay” when visiting Pagosa Springs

Excellent location and accommodations
Home was very clean and very comfortable for our family. Plenty of room and very relaxing after a day of skiing. Convenient to town and ski resort, yet tucked away off the main roads, nice and quiet. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Felt right at home and comfortable here. Very well stocked and clean. The main living area and master suite was awesome. The bunk bed room was a little too small for adults. We had 6 adults and a 2 year old. I would recommend 4 adults to sleep comfortably and kids in bunk room. Neighborhood was conveniently located, although it was busy and heard dogs barking. Host were great and communicated well.

Enjoyed our week stay. Property has a pleasant sunny living room. House has radiant floor heating and if you prefer cooler rooms turn heat down first thing. Would love to visit in the summer!

Winter Wonderland
Great getaway during snow season! Although Pagosa and Wolf Creek received feet of snow during our stay, the driveway was partially plowed upon arrival and the heating functioned well. Fireplace and TV remotes were a little challenging. Snow on neighborhood roads was well maintained.

Perfect Christmas get away
The house was amazing, great location to town and the mountain. The house was very spacious and we really felt at home. We actually only ate out once because the kitchen was set up with everything we needed to cook every meal and my wife was able to make a birthday cake as well.
I highly recommend this home to any family wanting that feeling of being home when your away!

Radiant heat, Huge windows, great neighborhood, super close to town. Had a slight delay in checking in, but the hosts dealt with it promptly and were in communication the whole time.

Paradise in the Pines
Extended stay, wonderfully relaxing location in one of Pagosa Springs nicest neigborhoods. Close to everything. Host has provided just about every cooking accessory you might have at home. Delightful large backyard. Be sure to visit the Pagosa Lakes Recreation Center for access to fishing and other amenities available. Deer in yard daily!

Living in an instruction manual!
The owner was pretty responsive and apologetic when we pointed out few cleanliness concerns initially. While things seemed overall clean, there are minor pockets of concern.
Other than that, there are so many instructions all through the house. Most of them informative/sort of guidelines. Quite a few are restrictive. Nothing bad, but seemed different compared to other VRBOs we had stayed. Overall a great experience and good location (love the deers that come up almost everyday).

July 2021 vacation
Our stay at the house went very well. We were able to park in the garage and treat it like our home for the week. It had everything we needed and was in good condition. A bonus was having deer walk through the yard daily.

Fantastic!
Beautiful property, well kept and clean. Owners were great and very responsive to questions. My family of 5 stayed for five nights over July 4th, and couldn't be happier with the location. Plenty of room for everyone. My youngest daughter enjoyed the tire swing out back and I enjoyed the views from the balcony. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

Not worth the money
This property is advertised as pristine and clean. It was anything but that. VRBO doesn’t have a way to post photos Paid very high cleaning fee, they are not meeting CDC minimum guidelines at all. Charging outrageous amount for a dirty home.
The master bathroom had large clumps of hair on the top of the drain. The edges of the shower are filthy. Vanity has toothpaste run down the front. Prior guests used towel hanging on the back of the door. The kitchen has a freeze full of food. Only enough room to add a 6# bag of ice. Tea maker had tea still in it. Downstairs bathroom shower curtain is dirty, old towels, shower surround patched where there are holes in it. Bathroom in need of updating. A/C advertised, doesn’t work the owner left a note that it is broken and he can’t get replacement parts. It is June and 90*. This is clearly false advertising knowing no A/C is fraud. The first step outside is unsafe my husband almost fell down its way too tall. The given garage code didn’t work. The garage door doesn’t work. The lights were not working in the master bedroom, the family room light and controller doesn’t work. HBO doesn’t work. The backyard is unusable. The grass/weeds are 2’ high. The owner instructions are do not move any of the furniture which was strewn around the backyard upside down. The owner has given a lot of rules of which he does nothing on his part. I would give this property a negative star if that was possible. The Owner is not meeting the standards for VRBO rentals that we have experienced with VRBO rentals. Rent at your own risk.

First time in Pagosa. Great place to stay!!!
The house was just what we wanted. Very close to everything but far enough to be peaceful. The house is warmed by radiant heat so the floors were always warm which was a plus for sure. The guests are allowed to use the garage so our car was out of the elements so we didn't have to worry about a snow/iced covered car.
The house is equipped with everything you need. The main floor is up a flight of stairs so you have to carry your suitcases, etc. up but that wasn't a problem for us.
There are beautiful views no matter what deck or window you look out of. The mattress in the master is a TempurPedic so it might feel very firm at first but you sink into it. We loved it.
The house has a large yard and although it was covered in snow for the most part, we did swing on the tire! :)
The owners are easy to get a hold of and were wonderful! Definitely staying again when we come back in the summer!

It was more than we expected. The home was perfect for us. Comfortable, roomy, and convenient!
Every part of our stay at this location was more than we could have asked for. It had all we needed and was very homey and inviting. If we ever visit Pagosa Springs again we would definitely consider staying here again.

Lots of space for a family, though we only used the main level.
