Venez vivre «au nord» dans toute sa splendeur sauvage. Niché parmi les sentiers de la région de Hiawatha à Munising, dans le Michigan (à côté de Haywire Trail # 8), le Log Cabin Retreat est également situé à proximité immédiate du Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore.
C'est l'endroit PARFAIT avec un accès rapide à tout ce que la région a à offrir. La cabine est assez pittoresque pour une famille, mais assez accommodante pour accueillir confortablement de plus grandes fêtes jusqu'à 16 personnes. Il y a quatre chambres et deux salles de bain au sous-sol et au rez-de-chaussée, plus un grenier.
Garez vos remorques et camions de motoneige dans la grande allée - il y a des tonnes d'espace pour rentrer et sortir (pas besoin de reculer). Alimentez le feu et détendez-vous. Imbibe au bar. Admirez les vues sur la forêt et la faune dans le confort de la terrasse. Préparez un festin sur le gril à gaz. Faites griller des guimauves et profitez de la compagnie de l'autre autour du feu.
La cabine est à vous pour profiter pendant votre séjour. Il y a beaucoup de place ici pour faire ce que vous aimez. Faites des souvenirs; faites les choses à votre façon. Excellent location for exploring this beautiful area! Wonderful to have all our family together in this spacious cabin. Our grandsons enjoyed the loft! Comfortable beds and equipped with plenty of nice towels and kitchen necessities. Loved the large deck! Convenient to town and hiking trails. Log Cabin Retreat was a great home base for our family vacation!

The cabin was great for our large family. We loved all the woodsy decor, the personalization of towels and glasses. The kids loved the surround sound. We spent a lot of time on the deck waiting for bears, but unfortunately they didn't venture over to us. Just a heads up, for anyone with mobility problems, the beds are quite high! Overall great stay. Would definitely stay again.

The property was great. The online description matched the real thing. The location is ideal as its vlose to Munising downtown as well as the Paddling Michigan kayaking checkin.
The rooms and bathrooms were clean. The appliances except for the coffee maker worked great.
Ariana, the house manager was super responsive.
I would recommend this propoerty to everyone.

Great location to visit Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore and other UP attractions. Family of 12 enjoyed our stay with plenty of room for all (easily could have fit more people comfortably). Check in process and access to assistance went smoothly. Thanks for having us!

The place was clean and well represented from the listing. We came to snowmobile but the snow didn’t cooperate. Huge drive for multiple trailers.

Great place to ride from. Had everyhing we needed. Caretakers came right away to plow us out due to we had to leave early.

The “cabin” is a great base camp whether your riding utv’s, four wheelers, or sleds. We had 4 couple doing our annual colors ride and the place was fantastic! Ample room for everyone and the bar was awesome! We will definitely be back!

ABSOLUTELY loved this house. I wish I could put into words how great it was! The cabin manager / owners were so accommodating to us checking in early, and doing a late check out! We were super close to pictured rocks, which was great for us to go jump into Lake Superior and clean ourselves off before going back in the house, we were close to all the trails to ride our can am / razors, there’s a cute bar called “bear trap inn” that had great food and we had 4 truck & trailers and there was more then enough room to fit us. The greeters (the neighbors) were super friendly and very helpful, if needed.
The most exciting part was seeing the baby cub as we were pulling out of the driveway to head home! I will definitely be renting this property again if we decide to stay in that area again! :)

Really nice place to stay for big family. Close to munising beaches and falls. We had a wonderful time staying in this cabin.

The cabin was very clean however the dishwasher was broken, the beds were very creaky and extremely uncomfortable. There was board on the deck they nailed down to over a hole which created several of us to trip and stub a toe often. Also, the picture of the loft is extremely deceiving. Adults have to crawl on their knees because the ceiling is so low.

We stayed with our extended family (just two families, but 16 people) and there was more than enough room and an awesome layout for multiple families. The kitchen was well stocked and we had all the amenities we needed after long days on the trails. Can’t wait to come back!

Came to UP to celebrate my bachelor party with friends and myself. Area was good and cleanliness was exceptional at cabin. Usually stay at a hotel when I visit Munising, so I was pleased with first stay at cabin in area. I’d recommend this to friends or return in the future. However, there were a few downsides that I would like seen fixed in future. List is: fireplace inside didn’t work. The fireplace controls were hanging off the wall by one wire and tried speaking to rental owner and couldn’t fix it over phone. Next, the ping pong table included with amenities was damaged. Entire tabletop was completely loose and falling apart. Third, the sink drain at bar counter wouldn’t drain. Again, majority are small things and not all will use, but it is expected when I rent and it is included with stay. My biggest complaint was upon arrival, they had a guy come out 1 hour after our check in time (4 pm) and was spraying chemical pesticide all over the cabin, all around was soaked with this chemical. Even neighbor said stay away for at least a hour, meaning come back around 6pm as it is nasty stuff. I expect upon arrival from my long drive to be able to check in right when I get there, please adjust your scheduling with pesticide worker.

Loved the cabin! Very spacious for all my friends. Even though it was May, we drove into snow, thankfully there were shovels outside to help shovel all the snow off the porch. It seemed like no one stayed there for awhile with all the snow. We didnt let that stop us. We still got to enjoy waterfalls, trails, and sceneries.

Loved this place. Perfect for our group of 7 guys on annual sledding trip. Could have been 10, plenty of beds. Only small issue was tv service. Put the big one upstairs!!! And get a service that works better. Premium channels not watchable, and superbowl was on fox - which wasn’t an hd channel

Everyone in our group loved this place. Some in our group had never been to the UP and the Log Cabin Retreat was a perfect base for our day excursions and a great place to relax at the end of the day.

This was the perfect location to many different attractions! The Log Cabin Retreat was a beautiful place! Plenty of room for my big family to stay along with plenty of towels/extra bedding. It was truly a home away from home for us all. Ariana was easy and reliable to reach with any questions, along with there neighbor checking in ti make sure we were satisfied. They truly take good care of this Retreat! Would definitely recommend to anyone! You won’t regret it!

We had a great time. the chairs at the table are too heavy. Hard to scoot in and out of table. Only issue was battery with water at kitchen sink.

Quiet get away
This cabin was very nice and private. We had a big group of 23 people, some camped on property and some stayed in the home. Great space, really well done. There were a lot of mosquitos though. Overall it was a great choice!

Great Location
The cabin is exactly where you want to be if you're exploring Pictured Rocks. It was well furnished with comfortable beds. The firepit was nice one evening. We had a mechanical issue with the cabin one day, but the owner and local management worked on a holiday weekend to get it resolved that day. If we're ever up that way again with a group, I'll definitely stay again.
