Cozy Coastal Cottage Centrally Located - Side A
Ceci est un appartement en duplex situé au coeur du mont. Agréable. Il a une sensation de chalet confortable avec une douche extérieure, un foyer et une clôture privée dans la cour arrière. Chiens acceptés, amenez toute la famille! Vélo et marche presque partout; 2 vélos fournis! Ne vous contentez pas de rester ici, ressentez ce que c'est que de vivre ici! À seulement 15 minutes à pied des restaurants et des activités de Shem Creek. Moins d'un mile de la rampe de mise à l'eau. Situé au centre; à seulement 6 miles des belles plages de l'île de Sullivan et à 6 miles du centre-ville historique de Charleston.
Ceci est un côté d'un duplex rénové dans un quartier calme et établi situé au cœur du mont. Agréable. Ce n'est pas sur une rue traversante, ce qui signifie qu'il y a peu de circulation. La rue fait le tour de Shem Creek à moins d'un pâté de maisons, ce qui en fait une courte promenade pittoresque.
Le duplex a été construit en 1960. Il est fait de briques et a une sensation classique et simple, mais n'est en aucun cas parfait. Il a sa propre cour privée clôturée qui est ÉNORME et parfaite pour les chiens.
Il y a deux chambres, une chambre avec un lit queen. L'autre a des lits superposés, un lit double. Nous avons deux canapés dans le salon et une télévision murale. La salle de bain a des sols en carreaux de marbre massif et un parement en panneaux de perles. Il s'agit d'une cuisine de taille confortable qui comprend une cuisinière de taille normale, un réfrigérateur et un lave-vaisselle. Des planchers en teck ornent également la cuisine. À partir de janvier 2020, nous allons mettre à jour complètement la cuisine et devrait être terminé à la mi-janvier. Actuellement, ils sont propres et fonctionnels, bien qu'un peu datés.
L'autre côté du duplex est également une location à court terme et chacun a sa propre entrée de véranda privée et grillagée. Ils ont également chacun leur propre privé, clôturé dans la cour arrière.
Il est idéalement situé à moins d'un mile de Shem Creek. Nous pourrions écrire un petit livre sur tout ce que Shem Creek et la région ont à offrir.
Nous avons deux petits garçons, un Schnauzer géant, et nous aimons sortir manger et goûter à certains des restaurants de classe mondiale que la région de Charleston a à offrir (avec et sans enfants et chien). Nous aimons partager ce que nous avons découvert si vous cherchez des choses à faire avec vos enfants, vos chiens ou si vous avez besoin de temps adulte. Il suffit de demander! Nous avons déménagé ici il y a 6 ans et nous avons toujours l'impression d'être en vacances.
Notre façon préférée d'explorer la région est à vélo, nous avons donc voulu partager cela avec nos clients. L'île de Sullivan et le centre-ville de Charleston sont tous deux à environ 6 miles dans des directions opposées sur la même route avec des pistes cyclables tout le long de chacun. Selon votre niveau d'aventure, vous pouvez sortir par la porte d'entrée et être sur la plage, ou profiter de tout ce que le centre-ville de Charleston a à offrir sans jamais monter dans votre voiture. Il y a aussi des bateaux-taxis au centre-ville si vous ne voulez pas monter sur le pont. Encore une fois, demandez, nous avons des informations sur tout cela.
À 8 minutes à pied de la porte d'entrée, il y a un Starbucks et une multitude de bons endroits pour manger, faire du shopping ou prendre un verre.

Si les clients laissent des fournitures de cuisine ou des denrées non périssables, nous les laissons à d'autres clients. De cette façon, vous ne courez pas au magasin pour du ketchup ou de l'huile d'olive à la dernière minute.
On nous a demandé à plusieurs reprises des marches / escaliers et il n'y a pas d'escaliers ou de marches à monter pour accéder à notre maison.

We traveled to the Charleston area with our dogs for a long weekend. The Coastal Cottage was the perfect weekend accommodation. The owners were wonderful to work with and the description is accurate. They welcomed us with a delicious chocolate cake, bottle of wine and fresh ground coffee. We also utilized the grocery delivery they note in the description. Our groceries were waiting when we arrived. We loved the large fenced in back yard for our dogs and the fire pit was an added plus. The house is perfectly located with quick access to the beach and downtown Charleston. Many dog friendly restaurants within walking distance. Safe and friendly area all around. We will definitely stay again. Great experience!

Great cozy location just off the main road, with ease of access to some of the most popular beaches in the area with a 10-15 minute drive and local eateries within a short bike ride.
Brad & Rebecca were/are top notch! Extremely responsive, respectable and communicating very well up to and throughout entire stay.
Went down for a baseball tournament at Shipyard and could not have asked for a better stay at this property. Looking forward to staying again, next time we’re in the Charleston area!

Location was great! A nice walkable neighborhood close to shops & restaurants. Updated kitchen with everything you would need to make a great meal. The firepit outside is a plus. Ideal for pets. Back yard is fenced in and front porch is screened in. The beds were very comfortable and the larger bedroom could sleep 4 people easily. Only 1 bathroom, but it worked just fine for 4 people. Eveything was clean and worked perfectly. Oh, and there was a bottle of wine, a bag of special coffee and a WONDERFUL little cake waiting for us when we arrived. What an awesome added touch. We enjoyed all of it and would stay here again anytime!

I chose this spot because of its proximity to Shem Creek and its yard because I was traveling with my dog and it did not disappoint! Such a great location, the home itself is great and the yard is large enough for a big dog to wear himself out! The kitchen is lovely and well-appointed, the beds are comfortable and the amenities fantastic. Bathroom is snug but it wasn’t a problem since I was alone. Owners couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating. I would stay there again in a heartbeat!

This house is adorable. It has a really nice backyard that was much larger than expected. Great location! You can walk to Starbucks, restaurants, shops, and a cute local bookstore. This house is also close to Isle of Palms and Shem creek. We absolutely loved our stay and the owners were so nice.

So many great things to say about this property and host! Ease of check-in and fantastic location to Mt Pleasant, downtown historic Charleston, Boone Hall, Pitt Street bridge park, Patriots Point, Sullivans Island, and Isle of Palms beaches and so many other attractions. Many choices of outstanding restaurants nearby. And the house itself is so welcoming. It truly feels like a cozy cottage when you walk in. We loved finding a small chocolate cake and wine as the welcome gift from our hosts Rebecca and Brad. And for anyone who is coffee drinker, you will so appreciate the French Roast freshly ground coffee! On the one day that it rained, we enjoyed playing dominoes from the many board games available. If we had more time, we would have used the outdoor fire pit and 2 bikes that were available to us. The beds were comfortable and house was nicely furnished and clean. Can't wait for another chance to stay again.

Wonderful stay in Mount Pleasant with my family!! We rented both sides of the duplex. Perfect for our dogs and grandkids! Super cute beach houses with huge fenced yards! Rebecca and Brad are super hosts! Our every need was met! We especially enjoyed the fresh baked cakes, bottles of wine and freshly ground coffee! The units are well equipped for cooking and the location is near many great restaurants. Very safe area! My second time renting! I highly recommend and I hope to return! This property is nestled in a very quiet & safe neighborhood, and its location is perfect for visiting Sullivan's Island and historic Charleston. It was very clean and well maintained. The property was as advertised. We stayed in Mt Pleasant as our intention was to explore the greater Charleston area. It was an excellent location as we did not want to stay downtown but wanted easy access to activities. There was plenty of space for myself and adult daughter. The location was an easy drive to downtown, Shem Creek Area, Sullivan’s Island, Isle of Palm and Folly Beach.
This house was situated in a quiet neighborhood with a nice backyard. It was nice to arrive and find some local coffee, delicious chocolate cake and a bottle of wine. We would certainly stay here again if we needed a place to stay near downtown Charleston and surrounding area. We did rent a car so we had our own transportation.

I don’t often write reviews, and when I have, they have been short & sweet. I feel like I MUST write a review on this one. This house is everything described plus more! It was a perfect getaway trip for my husband & I (and our pooch) to celebrate his 60th birthday The neighborhood is lovely, quiet and conveniently located - so much within walking distance or just a nice area to stroll with your pup. The bicycles provided are in great condition. The backyard fire pit was so nice with lots of seating. The fenced-in yard was fantastic since we had our dog with us. The yard has a privacy fence and is secure and super private. The screened-in front porch is a lovely place to sit. The interior is beautiful, updated and laid out well. The house is very clean (which always ranks higher for me than updated - this house has both). Now for the items that tipped the scale for me…. The bed is so comfy - the linens, the mattress, the pillows (and there are 4, not 2) - it felt like a 5 star hotel. The cute tables here and there - loved those. Especially loved how the cute tables were used in the bedrooms under large mirrors giving everyone space to get ready. Hangers in the closet - awesome! Seems like every trip we take one of the first things we have to do is go buy hangers. The live plants throughout, noticed & loved. The books on Charleston - very nice. All the extras (we didn’t use all of them but I definitely appreciate the thought and availability)…. TP, paper towels, cold water jug in the fridge upon arrival, laundry detergent, dishwasher detergent, shampoo, soaps - all the things that you typically are making a store run for on day one - thoughtfully provided here. And last but not least (probably not even last, I bet I forgot some things)… a fresh little chocolate cake, bottle of wine and fresh coffee. Seriously - I didn’t want to leave! The owners were great to work with and everything was convenient as far as accessing the home. Highly recommend!! Thank you for sharing your home with us! Pat & Tina

This property was the perfect location for a relaxing family weekend with our infant and two dogs. It was close proximity to plenty of food options for easy dinner pickup to accommodate our infant’s sleep schedule and for lots of walks through a safe and beautiful neighborhood. My husband and I felt like valued guests in this cozy cottage. The owners did so many things to make us comfortable starting with a nice gift of goodies. The bedding was luxurious with nice fluffy pillows, a perfect mattress, and a warm duvet. There were charging stations for our devices, a notebook that gave us tons of information about things to do in the area, and all the equipment needed for a day at the beach including bicycles. The weather was not cooperative but when we come back, this is where we will stay. We were particularly impressed that Rebecca called to see if we had arrived. It was important to her that we keep in touch if we had questions or if something needed attention. A great stay and highly recommended.
