We had an amazing time! Everything was as described - actually better! Location is close to everything. The kids loved sitting at the beach just outside of the property. We took many walks on the beach, spent plenty of time at the pool and loved the quick access to the ABC store. We open to return again someday. Thank you for a seamless experience!

This rental home was an absolute dream! Thank you Patty and Lou for sharing your slice of paradise with us. Everything was perfect from the moment we booked to the moment we checked out. Nothing will ever top the daily beautiful view we had right from the balcony! The place was better than we expected and made our first trip so enjoyable and memorable. The rental home had everything we needed to experience the beauty of Maui and it was so conveniently close and within walking distance to stores and restaurants. Our family of 4 absolutely love this place and we definitely plan to be back! Mahalo!

Some may feel like any time spent in one’s Maui condo is time wasted. I disagree if the condo is Lou and Patty’s! The view is so breathtaking that you feel a part of the sea; like you are floating on the crystal water. Staring out the wall of windows was a full time treat. This joy alone could have made up for any issues within the condo but quite honestly; we have only compliments. The condo is so thoughtfully stocked that we wanted for nothing. Every mattress and pillow was comfortable as well. I especially was impressed with the sofa bed. I am going to order this mattress for my sofa bed at home. It was that comfy! We plan to return and stay much longer!

The property is beautiful and well-maintained. The view from the deck is unparalleled. We would stay here again 100%.

Beautiful, oceanfront condo. The Papakea Property is well maintained with lots of amenities. We enjoyed the pool, bbqs, shuffleboard ,snorkeling, beach next door, evening sunsets and the nearby walking path. A huge plus was the three AC units within the condo.

The condo was as listed. The view was great! The beach was just south of “L” building. The Pool/Jacuzzi and courtyard activities were close. AC units worked great! They had all the necessary spices and pots/pans to cook with. Having a washer and dryer with detergent supplied was a plus. We loved sitting on the lanai listening to the waves and watching whales!

The ocean view from the lanai cannot be beat! Absolutely stunning ocean view which justified the price for us. Owner has the place stocked with everything you could need (and more!) for a long stay on the island. On-site property manager was prompt at addressing a minor AC issue. We were pleasantly surprised by what the resort had to offer - nice pools, free mai tais on Thursdays, and grounds very clean and well kept. Parking was easy and convenient. Lots of friendly guests on property. We have typically stayed at more updated/newer resorts and in our opinion the condo interior could use a facelift, but again, you come to Maui to get outside and enjoy mother nature’s views… not the inside of the condo views. :) Overall, great place, excellent accommodations and superior customer service by Lou & Papakea staff.

Great sleeping arrangements and wonderful patio to enjoy the front row seats to the ocean and amazing sunsets. The complex and unit is a little dated, as most are in Hawaii, but was perfect for our family’s 10-day stay with everything that we needed in the unit. Complex comes with a decent pool area, tennis courts and large grass putting green that the children and I enjoyed. Convenient ABC store out front and a shopping centre and grocery store across the street. Complex has easy access to the unit via elevator and convenient parking out front. Would recommend this unit to friends and family.

Picked this condo for the beautiful ocean view and it didn’t disappoint. Papakea itself is a beautiful complex with clean pools, beautiful landscaping, plentiful parking and great location. Appreciated Lou’s pre-trip communication and details and condo was comfortable. Photos and description of condo were entirely accurate. My son appreciated the large tv for World Series viewing (some units have really small tvs 😁). Mahalo for your hospitality Lou!

Gorgeous 2 bedroom condo right on the ocean. Beautiful view and beautiful resort. We stayed 9 nights and had an incredible Hawaiian vacation!

From Arrival to departure you will see some of Maui’s beautiful sunset’s and beaches, relax at the beach or the pool - everything was supplied, a great location for snorkeling or seeing the beautiful island. Lou and Patty are excellent at communication and made sure this property has every amenity it’s absolutely beautiful and you and your family or friends will make wonderful memories Mahola

The check in process was seamless. Waking up to the sound of waves every morning, looking at the gorgeous sunsets over the pacific was magical. We had a blast.

Just spent a wonderful week at Papakea in Patty & Lou Bellardo’s condo and cannot recommend it enough. We’ve stayed at the Papakea many times before and this may be our favorite condo. We were so happy with our choice. The unit was exceptionally clean and extremely well stocked!!! The kitchen was amazing and we enjoyed cooking together many nights. Being on the top floor oceanside was fantastic, watching the sunset over Molokai every single evening of our stay. With a swimming beach is a 3 minute walk, the two pools and grounds … our family was over the moon with all the options. Would stay here again! Thank you Patty & Lou.

My family stayed for a week in Maui and this property was great. Everything we needed was available in the condo. The view was amazing. You cannot beat looking out your lanai and only seeing the ocean.

We really enjoyed this condo, every morning and night we would sit out on the lanai and enjoy the view. The condo was very clean and the grounds are beautiful, a lot nicer than expected. Check in was easy. The condo public areas never seemed crowded. Only suggestion is to purchase real beach chairs. The chairs that were there were not comfortable for the beach and were old.

What a wonderful condo! There were six of us total - four adults and two babies under two. We had to spend quite a bit of time in the unit due to the different nap schedules of the kiddos, but no complaining as the view was perfect! We saw turtles and spinner dolphins from the unit. We spent a lot of time on the lanai and cooked most our food in the well-stocked kitchen. I was surprised with how quiet the unit was- I never heard the neighbors on either side. For people with babies - just FYI the stairs to the loft have no railing. We managed fine and we also rented a baby gate from Maui Baby Rentals to keep it safe. Really though it was a great beachy condo and we can’t wait to come back!

My family and I had a wonderful time. The view from the balcony is stunning. The Bellardo’s have done a fantastic job of making their unit as comfortable as home.

From the initial booking to checkout, our vacation at L404 was amazing!! Great and timely communication from Lou, even when I booked almost a year in advance. Beautiful and comfortable unit, with full amenities in the unit and on the property. The kitchen and recreation closet were both fully stocked, and the daily sunrise & sunsets from the lanai were indescribable. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and hope to return soon! Many thanks to the Bellardo’s!

My family and I had an amazing time here. The place just felt like home. The view of the ocean from the balcony is juts unforgettable, a perfect place to have a family dinner and watch the sunset.

The view from this condo is stellar! The inside could use some updating but it is just as seen in the pictures so we knew what to expect. Having 2 bathrooms was really helpful with teenagers. Lou was great in communicating quickly whenever I had questions. We love Papakea Resort and this was another lovely stay.

Excellent experience for my family! The view from the unit is beyond gorgeous. Hearing waves crashing while in bed, natures sound machine. Very well appointed with beach supplies. Very reasonable pricing. Would recommend this property to everyone! Extremely detailed instructions from host, always appreciated.

We loved our stay here! Lou was awesome to book from from. Very prompt in his responses and had excellent tips!! The view is to die for!! The property is clean and well kept, the pool was a great temp. Check in was easy. We loved the keyless entry. Having the Food truck court and the ABC store so close was awesome. Not to mention Cruisin Maui and the Maui fish market. Disappointingly, we didn’t get to eat at Dukes, (which is in walking distance) due to their half capacity Covid reservation time frames were ridiculous. Our only critiques are that the couch needs to be shampooed, as it smells like B O from previous visitors, -we put a blanket over it and that helped. It could use a paint job to freshen up the place, but not a big deal. All in all, we would highly recommend this condo!!

Great location with lots of things within walking distance. Great property for babies or small kids however this unit does not provide pack n play or any kid friendly accommodations. The view is incredible and hearing the waves crash all night long was the best part! Highly recommend this place.

We loved our stay at this beautiful condo. My wife and I along with my parents stayed here. Us being younger we took the loft and gave the parents the bedroom downstairs. This was a very clean condo and had everything you would want to be at a home away from home. True ocean front the views are amazing and pictures are true. Was so close to food trucks, grocery stores and some of our favorite beaches, Airport beach was only 1 mile south. Honalua bay great snorkeling, all rock beach but its a must to walk through the rainforest and snorkeling is unbelievable here.We saw spotted eagle ray right in front of the room, truly a little pice of paradise. 4 people is perfect and being on the top floor is great no noise. We totally understand the cost of things being expensive but the 6 hour timer for the AC was a major pain in the butt, if it were 8 or 10 this would have helped a lot, we felt like it was a little over the top but do understand some people I guess would never give the AC's a break. This did not by no means put a damper on our trip we got pretty used to just turning the timer. The pool and hot tub shut down at 10 pm, we were so tired from day to day activities there were only a day or 2 we got back after and really wanted to take a quick dip but was no big deal.The grounds are kept perfect, you can tell they really care about this property to make it stay so nice. We will try to stay here again when we come back to visit paradise again. Lou was so nice and would answer all questions and even kept us updated about the protocol for COVID, was nice to have such great communication. Thanks for opening your pice of paradise to us.
