The property set the tone for the perfect San Diego family holiday! The location, the very cool house, the amenities, the communication with Craig....you could not ask for anything more. One of our favorite things to do was to wake up in the morning with a cup of coffee, open the door and stare at the pacific ocean before heading out to surf.

This house was fantastic for our family trip. It’s a one minute walk to the beach and close to all shops, restaurants, etc. Home was clean, accommodating and we couldn’t have asked for anything more. We’ll be staying there again for sure!

This house was stunning and we’d absolutely go back! The house was comfortable and very clean; being so close to the beach I expected some sand on the floor as we have experienced in other homes we have rented- but NOT this one. I was really impressed. Wifi was perfect and worked as expected. Restaurants, coffee shops, grocery stores, bars- all within walking distance. It was perfect for our group that ranged from 16-49. Each room was very well appointed and everyone was comfortable. Communication with Craig was excellent and I appreciated the messages with the house staff as well. It was such a fun trip and we hated to leave the 65° weather and return to our reality of 113°. All in all, the house on Law has our hearts!! Thank you, Craig, for allowing us to have a special place for our family to call home if only for a few short days.

Craig is a great host, the property is located in the heart of Pacific Beach next to all the restaurants and nightlife and convenient to all other San Diego tourist attractions. The house is great for families, very spacious with lots of outdoor areas to enjoy beautiful beach and mountain views. Would highly recommend a stay here!

House has everything you need to enjoy the stay.

If you want to be close to the beach, this place is for you! It was an easy 1 block walk to the beach. The house was large and easily accommodated our 6 adults and 2 kids. The pool table and pinball machine were hits! While I would not consider this a luxury residence, it was certainly comfortable and well equipped to met the needs of a large family. The owner does ask that you start the dishes and linens before you leave at check out at 11am. This could be a potential challenge if your group has early flights scheduled. We would definitely recommend to friends.

Thank you for an amazing vacation. This property exceeded our expectations. We arrived to a spotlessly clean home. Everything about it was perfect. It actually seemed even bigger than it appears in the photos. Plenty of room for 7 adults and a toddler. All the beds are comfortable with nice linens. The kitchen is clean and well equipped. The pool table and pinball machine were fun for all. Parking is perfect. But the best feature is the garage door that opens to the deck with a beautiful ocean view! We spent hours gathered at the huge dining area table soaking up the view. The beach is probably less than a block away, extremely easy to access. Other guests had mentioned the noise. Yes it is on a busy corner. We only heard it late at night. Being forewarned I brought a white noise machine so it was manageable. I left a couple items and was pleasantly surprised when the owner contacted me and offered to return them. Much appreciated! The best beach property we have ever stayed at. We will be back!

I took 7 family members ranging in age from almost 2 to 50 and we had an amazing time. The property was as advertised and it was just a short walk to the beach. We are already planning to return next year for a week! The only downside was the location is on the corner of a busy street and it could get loud late at night and early morning but that was just a minor inconvenience. I highly recommend this house!

We loved this house. It was great for extended family to get together. It was spacious and comfortable for both kids (3 & 8) and grandparents. The beach view was wonderful and neighborhood noise was never an issue. We would absolutely stay here again.

The home was in a great location for Pacific Beach access. The owners were very responsive and the home was stocked with everything needed for a great stay.

We enjoyed our stay in the eclectic Pacific Beach area. This house is literally a 4 minute walk to the beach. We were concerned that there might be noise at night as the side of the house is located on a main thoroughfare---but noise was never an issue. The house itself was great...pool and pinball were fun additions and the rooftop deck was fantastic...nice view of the ocean. Our little granddaughters loved the "secret bedroom" behind the bookcase. The beds were comfy, the kitchen is very well-equipped, and the house has many nice touches such as a small heater in the master bedroom to take off the morning chill. Zelda was very responsive before our visit and to a question we had on arrival. Couldn't have been nicer.

We loved this house. It was a perfect location - close to the beach, restaurants and shops. Our boys and their friends are teens now and they had a great time exploring the area. My husband and I enjoyed sitting on the balcony and looking out at the ocean. It's an easy walk to the beach and the weather was beautiful. Definitely recommend!

We were absolutely blown away by this property. It had the perfect combination of beach vibe, amenities, and location for our family. In particular, the roll up garage door off the main living area and the third floor crows nest and rooftop deck were huge hits with our group. The kitchen was great for entertaining and all the bedrooms and other descriptions were as advertised. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and I would definitely stay here again.

Pacific Beach home was perfect for our family gathering. Plenty of bedrooms and spots within the home to hang out. Kitchen is well equipped and a gorgeous view of the ocean from the table. Steps from the beach and tons of coffee shops and restaurants and retail. Soft beds, good linens, clean bathrooms. Totally recommend staying here if you’re looking for a chill beach town getaway.

We stayed her with our family. A total of 6 adults and one child. The layout of the house with four bedrooms and three 1/2 baths was perfect. It’s laid out well so each group had there own small master suite. The showers were large and spacious. The house location is superb. A short walk to the beach and into the core of pacific beach. It has a beautiful view of the ocean from the decks. Down points of the property would be no air conditioning and road noise being located right on mission street. Overall I would recommend this property to others.

The house is one block from Pacific beach and free yoga. Large dining table, pool table, and pinball machine are good touches. Since the house is right on Mission Blvd, most of the rooms are getting street noise until late at night. Bathrooms have great water pressure. Having a parking spot is awesome in PB.

My family had an incredible experience at the house. There was plenty of room for my family of four and my parents. Less than a five minute walk to the beach, shops and restaurants. Views to the ocean were awesome and the house was very nice and clean. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a nice stay near the ocean. Owners were incredibly responsible leading up to our stay, and helped coordinate a delivery of our baby rental items.

First off, you cannot beat the location of this property with respect to beautiful ocean views AND convenience to local shops, dining, and services. Loved opening all the windows in the morning, including the big rolling door off the kitchen! How fun! Ample space and privacy for our family which included 3 grown kids. Private driveway parking relieved the worry of not finding street parking, especially since Law St and Mission Blvd are popular for beach goers. Super short walk to gorgeous park with bluffs overlooking ocean, or alternatively, to the beach itself. Plenty of bath towels and beach towels available with the unit. Kitchen is roomy and well equipped (the only thing we missed was a couple of pizza pans)! Kitchen had paper towels, utensils, dishes, plates, pots and pans, basic spices, coffee maker, microwave, knives, cutting boards etc. Oh, also nice that each shower had shampoo, conditioner, and soap dispensers. Uber and Lyft are consistently minutes (literally minutes) available since the house is so perfectly located! We were all so pleased with our stay; our visit to San Diego wouldn’t have been the success it was if we hadn’t stayed here!

Spent 4 nights with 4 colleagues attending a conference in San Diego at the PERFECT beach house. The house is located just steps from the water. Took long walks on the beach in the morning and evening. The house was comfortable and fun! Beautifully designed. Great beds. It has everything we needed and more. Lots of windows and intriguing spaces. Loved the fireplaces, the "garage door" on the second floor which opened up to a deck with views of the water, and the "widow's walk" on the third floor where we drank wine in the evening to the sound of the waves. Played pool and pinball in the game room. And the neighborhood was awesome. LOTS of coffee shops and restaurants - go to Enoteca Adriano (best Italian restaurant in San Diego and a block from the house). Get incredible ice cream sandwiches at The Baked Bear down the street. There was a Gelson's a few blocks away. We were close to LaJolla and a short drive from downtown, the Gaslamp district, and Coronado Island where our conference was held at the Hotel Del Coronado. WE DID NOT WANT TO LEAVE. This house IS paradise!!!

Beautiful well appointed home in Pacific Beach only 2 blocks from the beach and within walking distance. Home is well appointed with great views of the ocean from the second and third floor decks. The only downside is the lack of Central Air Conditioning and the proximity to a Main Street. Interior of the home can get quite warm and there can be considerable noise with all the windows open. Other than that, a great home!

My family and my wife’s sister’s family spent a week at this property. We were very please with the location (just a block away from Pacific Beach) and the accommodations. The two separate decks (second floor and roof) were particularly fantastic. The house was very well appointed with kitchen and grilling supplies and beach gear (towels and boogie boards). The only slight negatives were lack of AC and street noise coming from Mission Blvd, but these factors didn’t meaningfully impact our overall enjoyment. We would highly recommend this home for a family vacation.
