L'emplacement est à un pâté de maisons de Frankfort Ave. boutiques et restaurants, idéalement situé près du centre-ville, Churchill Downs, et un pâté de maisons de la I-64 pour un accès facile à la région de Louisville. Récemment conçu et rénové, comprend deux chambres séparées, un bureau, une cuisine complète, une salle de bain et une buanderie. Wifi, netflix et parking gratuits. Very spacious, comfortable and clean. There was everything you needed for cooking or personal care. Place is in a neighborhood of beautiful old homes and large trees. Felt very safe.

We had a great 4 night stay at Hollyhock. Everything was clean, well appointed and convenient. The neighborhood is wonderful and accessed in a short walk. Frankfort Ave was great, especially enjoyed Porcini’s. The owners were exceptional in their communication and effort to make our stay pleasant. Would rent again.

In town for an AAU basketball tournament and we couldn’t have asked for a better location with the ease of access to the Expo Center (12 min) and downtown (7 min). Not mention the fantastic places to eat on Frankfort Street just 90 seconds away.

Location and accommodations were perfect. Thoughtful gestures of a coffee bar and breakfast snacks appreciated. Great communication with owners. Will definitely stay again if in the area.

We came to Louisville as a base for heading west to the eclipse. The carriage house was basically exactly as described in the listing. Everything was clean and felt new/close to new. I think the only surprise was how large the apartment is. If we had a critique it would just be that the owners could add a dining table and chairs and it would still feel spacious. But that's just personal preference - others might have a different use for the floorspace.
Outside of the carriage house, the location was great and easily walkable. We enjoyed several of the local restaurants and shops, walked around the neighborhood, and I went for a nice run to and around Cherokee Park. Everything was clean and felt safe, and compared to our home in DC, there was a very chill vibe. Very enjoyable.
Finally, the owner was super responsive about arrival/departure, and checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. We did and so we had no need to reach out otherwise, but I was confident we'd have gotten an immediate reply if we had.

Stayed Thanksgiving 2023. This listing stood out because of its uniqueness and design. We needed to be close to St. Matthews and it worked out well.

The interior design of the Carriage House is very lovely and cozy. It was clean and welcoming. We especially appreciated the details like the holiday decor, thoughtful coffee bar, and extra baby gear. We have 5 children (four are 4 and under) and the bedroom situation worked out well with the provided pack and play.
The owners were kind and responsive to any inquiries. We would recommend listing.

I grew up in the Louisville area and come home a few times every year with my family, so we’re always looking for places to stay, and this is a new favorite.
The beds are great and very comfortable. The kitchen and bathrooms are well stocked and perfect for what we needed. We’ll definitely stay here again.

We could walk to restaurants, coffee shops, and cute retail shops. Only a few miles from the zoo and parks/playgrounds. Exactly what we were looking for and would stay here again!

The property manager was quick to answer any questions we had and made check in/out very easy! The interior of the home is just as modern and clean as the photos. The house was private and spacious, and the neighborhood felt safe to walk our dog at night to restaurants. The location is tucked away just enough that you can relax away from the city, but close enough that you can Uber five minutes into town for bourbon and entertainment. We will definitely be staying here again.

The carriage house in Crescent Hill was such a great home base for our time in Louisville. Good to know info for future travelers: very clean, comfortable and well appointed rental. Best communication with owners was through the vrbo app. Location's a nice walk to lovely local shops and restaurants on Frankfort Ave, approx 15 mins drive to airport and fairgrounds. Unit's relatively quiet, above a residential garage which gets regular use. Would definitely recommend and return!

Quick Spring Break Getaway
Last minute trip to warmer weather over Spring Break...we enjoyed staying at the Carriage House very much! The hosts were kind & accommodating, the beds were extra comfortable and we enjoyed the quiet neighborhood. We brought our bikes and biked to nearby restaurants and also took the short drive to tour some museums downtown. The only thing I would suggest to better the Carriage House is to add some lighting in the kitchen, other than that, everything was clean, comfy and spacious! If in the area in the future, we would definitely stay again :)

Long weekend in Louisville
The property made for a great home base for our trip. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked (we mostly made breakfast at the VRBO and ate out or brought in lunch & dinner). Our first night in the apartment there were tornado sirens (but thankfully no actual tornado as it turned out) and the host was very accommodating and invited us to shelter with his family in their basement.

Really good location to serve as base camp for day trips to the National Corvette Museum to the Creation Museum and the Ark Encounter and All the local sites.

Amazing wide open space beautifully remodeled in keeping with old Kentucky Carriage House vibe. Hosts are professionals and it came through every step of the way. We loved our stay and will return next time we have are in Kentucky!

Girls Retreat
We celebrated a few birthdays. This property was perfect for our stay. It had spacious bedrooms and a huge open area for playing games and viewing TV. The owners were great about quickly communicating with us regarding any quesitons we had.

Our family was so comfortable at the carriage house location, and it was also nice having two bedrooms for some privacy. The kitchen was very well-equipped, w new appliances. We will definitely stay again!

Very convenient to I64. Residential neighborhood close to shopping, restaurants. Well supplied with coffee and tea varieties as well as feel good treats. Apartment is much more roomy than I imagined. Who wouldn't love that?

Very spacious, clean and nicely decorated
Highly recommend staying here! Amanda has really thought of everything to make your stay pleasant. The extra snacks, popcorn, candy and toiletries are a great touch! This place is very clean, spacious and nicely decorated. The beds were very comfortable. We fit 5 adults, 1 teen and 2 younger kids and didn’t feel like we were on top of each other. Very nice neighborhood. We will definitely seek this place out the next time we come back!

Great property. Good location. Close to shopping, restraints, slugger museum, and expo. Has all the amenities you will need. Even extra stuff like, snacks, shampoo, conditioner and even laundry detergent and dishwasher soap. Wonderful stay thank you again!

This location is even better than the pictures show. The host was extremely kind and accommodating. And the perfect walking distance to Frankfort Ave for food and coffee. I've already sent the property along to friends/family to consider next time they're in town. Absolutely wonderful!

Spacious modern apartment in beautiful, safe, convenient Victorian neighborhood.
This is truly a special 2 bedroom "suite" and unique location. Great amenities (new washer and dryer, etc). Our 5 day and night stay went off without a glitch.

Better than a hotel
Staying at Crescent Hill was a much more enjoyable experience than a hotel stay. Easy in and out access in a very peaceful and pleasant neighborhood. Would definitely recommend to others!
