All guests enjoyed the property as it gave everyone space to roam around. We enjoyed everything from the spectacular views of the sunsets in the evenings from the fire pit to the large wrap-around porch where we could gather and visit. If you enjoy the farm life and want to have a place where you can get outside and explore this is the place.

This was the second time we have stayed here. The country estate is a piece or real history and the location is ideal! Shelley is a great host and the place is neat and clean. Would definitely stay here again! CR

We had a great time staying here with family. I was large and clean and had everything we needed. The large dining room was a plus for the larger family gathering we had.

The house was just perfect for our family for the weekend. It was big enough that we could have separate groups visiting, playing games, resting, etc. yet still close enough we all felt like one connected group. We loved the location, scenery, and everything was easy to find in the house. It was close to a store for those forgotten items, yet felt remote. Everything was clean and well set up. The kids really enjoyed the playground and small walks around. Everyone in our group of 13 was saying they wanted to return in the future.

There were accommodations for each of us and a special place to get away from the crowded gathering. My only regret is that we didn’t have more time to enjoy the outdoors. This home was perfect for our family gathering! You can tell the house has been so well cared for and maintained. It was clean and had so many hospitable touches. There was plenty of space, and we absolutely adored sitting out on the front porch. The rooms were beautifully decorated and felt so homey. We loved playing the piano too. We are excited to come back and gather again there soon!

I wanted to stay in this house forever! From the rocking chair on the wrap-around porch, to the spacious bedrooms, this house has it all. Old houses have so much charm, and stories to them, this one is definitely one for the books. The huge yard made for some great family memories from playing corn hole to hopscotch and an impromptu dance party for the granddaughter.

The house was breath of fresh air from the everyday city life. So peaceful and the scenic view of the hillside was the cherry on the icing. We loved the stay so much and the playground was great for the young kids. Hope to visit again soon.

The house is an amazingly built older home. Very warm feel to the house with some fresh updates. We shared the house with my sister in law and her family. She has small children. Her review : Loved it! Such a neat place and countryside around it. Very convenient right beside the highway. Easy stairs for little kids.

My husband and I recently got married and spent the weekend at this amazing location. Everything is clean and beautiful, the owners and staff are helpful and wonderful, and we received nothing but compliments from our wedding guests. I would absolutely recommend this venue for any wedding, family reunion, or event you might be hosting!

The setting is pastoral and so reinvigorating, especially sitting on the huge wraparound porch. The house is spacious beyond description - huge rooms and high ceilings. Plenty of space to commune, and to also find privacy. There are also amazing on-site barns and buildings for special events. The Keene Road Country Estate is truly special!

This private place in the country is spacious and accommodating, with a room for up to 30 guests to sit at one table! The hosts are ready to help with anything you might need to have a successful gathering!

Our family came from the East and West coasts to visit our parents. The Keene Road Country Estate was the perfect property to house us all. The house was well equipped. We rented the Annex too. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning.

We rented the authentic barn for a wedding reception and found the setting to be perfect! The owners were so easy to work with as well! I would definitely recommend to anybody looking for a venue to host a party!

My group loved this property. Plenty of space to meet, sleep and eat. We loved the house with it's classic country feel and the annex was spacious and cool on hot summer days. Shelly was beyond helpful and went out of her way to make sure we had a productive and fun stay! We would definitely stay here again!

Our extended family gathered there for a reunion. It worked well, with lots of activities (indoors and out) for the kids, and we were able to rent the "whole house"--and make it our own for those few days.

The Keene Country Estate and Conference center was an excellent choice for our wedding location. It was everything we wanted at an affordable price. The farmhouse and annex provided ample room for our entire wedding party and immediate family for the weekend of the wedding. The farmhouse is amazing and stocked with plenty of cooking supplies to accommodate large groups like ours, or smaller groups for a quiet weekend. The real gem of the place though was the owners. Shelly, Mike, and the rest of the staff hands down helped make a wonderful weekend filled with happy memories for a lot of people. They strove to make sure we were happy with everything and stayed in touch when needed. They helped out at the reception and even cleaned up the food. They handle the parking for all the quests and provide chairs, tables, table cloths, and so much more. For what we paid for the weekend, we really got a great deal. They are spectacular people to work with! The views were stunning and offered a variety of locations for photographs. We had a lot of compliments from out guests about everything and many asked how we found this place. Our wedding was perfect in every way and I would hands down recommend the Keene Country Estate and Conference Center to anyone who needed a place to create memories to last a lifetime.

This property and the owner were wonderful. The owner was most accommodating in letting us know everything we need to know and taught us the history of the Estate. The grounds are immense and a great place to get away for a family reunion, wedding, and graduations; or just to relax. We will diffidently be going back for more family functions.

We were looking for a large home to use for our family reunion this year in Topeka, KS. Thank goodness we found this one! We loved the old farmhouse charm and it was plenty big to house our large family for several days, plus having extra family members come to celebrate together. The property owners were very accommodating and easy to work with. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Our overall experience was wonderful! Shelly and her crew went over and beyond to ensure that our wedding ran smoothly. Our guest were in awe over the beautiful property and our pictures turned out to be breath taking with the rustic surroundings.
