Excellent hotel close to everything in downtown Lawrence. I came to visit my kiddo at KU and it was the perfect spot. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, staff was very friendly. Will definitely stay here again when coming to Lawrence.

It was a clean facility, the front desk was always kind and helpful.

We had THOUSANDS of dollars of tools stolen from our truck. (They were chained in and the thieves cut the chain) We have repeatedly asked them for the video to turn into police and insurance and the manager will not do anything for us.

The staff were super friendly and accommodating.

The couch needs pillows. It was not comfortable to sit on without them. Also, if you are a light sleeper, bring ear plugs(which I always do) as the hotel is near a busy road.

Room was big and had coffee, refrigerator and microwave.

Excellent. Server was kind and friendly in the midst of some chaotic guests (children).

Staff was extremely friendly and there was always a welcoming person to greet you at the door.

Facility was very worn. Toilet tank ran after flushing. Sheets were discolored and pilled. Faucet in shower was difficult to use and dripped after use. Hallways were noisy and conversations could be heard, clearly, from the next room.

Location and the young lady who checked me in was wonderful and helpful.

Upon check out the desk clerk refused to give me a receipt when I asked for one. He told me I had to get it from Booking.com when I've never had to do that in the past. (I've stayed at this hotel over 10 times) So I had to contact Booking.com to get an actual receipt for my expense report, which I didn't think was too huge of an issue. Booking.com helped me get a receipt emailed from the hotel, but then the hotel messaged me telling me I "should have gotten it from booking.com but they'd go ahead and email the receipt" which seemed a bit off-putting. I travel a lot for work and have never experienced such an issue just getting my receipt and it seemed to really put the property out to have to get it for me.

Annoying next door old man who had a issue with my baby crying for 1 minute we moved rooms twice cause at first we wer upstairs and my baby was crawling and he had a issue with that

We have stayed here before. When traveling with 3 teens & pets, it's hard to find 2 queens and a sofa bed. But this place has it and accepts pets.

This trip, the room did not seem clean. It smelled & there were things in the corners. My husband thinks they were tobacco chews. Also, the bedding on the sofa bed didn't seem clean.
