We booked this property as a last minute Labor Day fishing trip on Tupper Lake. The home was great!!!! View from the home is stunning, master bed was crazy comfortable. Located right on the water and the ability to park our bass boat under the boathouse home was fantastic. Check in was seamless and Scott was great with answering any questions we had. Definitely check out Raquette River Brewing with several food trucks and Porkbusters BBQ. All in all a great trip. Would highly recommend.

We have been traveling to the Adirondack mountains for 20 years. We were searching for a beautiful cabin in a quiet area with a great view well I have to say jackpot on this place. It checked all the boxes for us. We had a ball and will def be coming back thank you Scott as well. You were wonderful

We had an outstanding week. The house is clean and beautifully situated in a cove on Tupper Lake. We listened to the loons, caught fish off the dock and star gazed around the camp fire at night. The host is responsive and attentive. 5 stars!

The cabin is neat and clean and you have everything you need for a perfect stay. Scott and his family were excellent to work with.

Baiting and fishing everyday, star gazing and snores at fire pit at night.

This is a pretty special property. The views are incredible, the home is cozy and well-maintained, and the property is located just 5 minutes from downtown Tupper Lake and 25 minutes to Saranac Lake (we spent time in both)! I fished both full days we were there. I launched from the property with my fishing kayak one day. My wife used one of the provided kayaks one day. The second day I launched about 1.25 miles up the road at a DEC boat launch. We had a great time and I highly recommend.

We stayed at the boathouse for a weekend celebrating a friends birthday. Couldn’t have asked for a better location to ice fish, incredible views, and plenty of space for 6 of us. The house is impeccably clean, kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. The host was great and answered all of our questions very quickly. We can’t wait to come back next winter!

Stay – 9/30/23-10/6/23.
Being from Tupper, we come every year to visit family.
We have stayed in a LOT of VRBO cabins over the years and I have to say The Boat House has been THE best experience yet!!
The hosts were extremely nice and very accommodating. Such a nice family! The cabin was spotless, and the furniture spot on for the ADK experience. A home away from home.
We were lucky to catch an Indian summer and we got to experience the peak fall colors. The light at Bog River and Buttermilk falls was exceptional this year.
The sunrise over the lake every morning was gorgeous!
Also, I LOVE Loons! Seeing and hearing them in front of the Boat House every day was awesome!
Watching them swim under water trying to catch fish from the Boat House deck was a lifetime experience. Who knew they could swim that fast like little fighter jets 😊
Scott and family, thank you so much for opening your home to folks so we can enjoy the true ADK experience. I cannot wait to book with you again for 2024.
Warmest Regards,
The LaPointe / Spears Family

The Boathouse was such a joy! Clean and cozy, Scott and Brandy made sure we had everything we needed and were very responsive. This was our first visit to Tupper Lake and we couldn’t have asked for a better homebase. Heading out on the lake in the paddleboat and camp fires in the firepit made for an incredible and relaxing weekend. Waking up and seeing the view of the lake and mountains from the master bedroom were just the icing on the cake.

As last time, the atay was perfect. House is beautiful. Lake is wonderful. Atmosphere is so relaxing. Can’t wait to get back. Owners are so easy to deal with.

Dad, Brother and I stayed a week to enjoy the hiking and canoeing around Tupper Lake area. Both were great. The Boathouse was just perfect and we really enjoyed it! Great location, quiet, peaceful with all the modern amenities and terrific views.

The boat house is nicely appointed with room for everyone to spread out. Property was clean and well maintained. Large BBQ grill made it easy to cook burgers, steaks and corn at same time. Having the view of the water from primary bedroom, living room and the large deck are amazing. Being able to keep the boat with all our gear safe and out of the rain overnight made for a great day fishing the following morning. I would definitively recommend to friends and family.

This lovely renovated boathouse delights with gorgeous views of Tupper Lake as well as creature comforts. It was perfect for our group of 4 (2 couples). The Adirondack themed furniture was a cut above in comfort. The kitchen was likewise better equipped than most rentals we have stayed in providing everything needed for preparing meals. We would definitely consider renting The Boathouse for future stays.

The cabin was the perfect setup for boating. It was great being able to park my boat under the cabin out of the rain and weather. The owner was very accommodating and responded to all our inquiries. The cabin came equipped with all basic necessities, and the decor was quintessential Adirondack style. So much care and detail was put into decorating the cabin, and it made for a truly memorable vacation. Our family enjoyed one full week of boating and fishing on the lake. There is a huge fire pit that our boys used to make s’mores. We took a few trips to town for donuts at the Washboard and ice cream at the Skyline. We loved being on the water, and enjoyed nightly visits from a couple of loons. We made a trip to nearby Blue Mountain Lake to visit the Adirondack museum. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

My family very much enjoyed our stay at the boathouse. Saw lots of birds and enjoyed looking out over the water. The property is shared with the main "lodge" which was occupied by the owner's family during our stay. On the plus side, the family was very friendly and helpful, but on the downside, it's not particularly private when using the outdoor amenities.

The Boathouse was the perfect place to launch kayaks and canoes. There are islands to paddle round and spectacular cliffs to gaze at! The living areas are very nicely designed and decorated. We throughly enjoyed our week here.

The Boathouse is a wonderful and unique place to stay. Very clean, comfortable and quiet, with beautiful views of the lake and the best sunsets.
My daughter had a blast catching panfish off the dock and from the peddle boat. I got up early to go kayaking, and often had the lake to myself.
A pair of loons visited us every day, and we watched swallows coming and going from their nests in the lower part of the boathouse.
If you need anything, Tupper Lake is less than 10 minute's drive. The ice-cream stand is 5.
The Washboard Donut Shop should be visited at least once. The Wild Center is amazing. If you can tear yourselves away from relaxing and hanging out by the lake.

This was our 2nd time and it was just as great as our first. We fished, floated and climbed a mountain. Overal just fun and relaxing. Scott came over to say hi and make sure we had everything we needed. We did. The boathouse is just a fabulous place to stay.

This cabin is in the perfect location and has all the amenities you need. The boat launch was especially nice as we rented a boat for the week. The kayaks and canoe and paddle boat were great to have as well. Overall the best place we've stayed in the ADK yet!

“This was really a beautiful property, located directly on the lake and was very quiet and peaceful. Every amenity was provided by the hosts and we enjoyed the days we spent there. Would definitely rent again, would love to visit in the fall.”

We stayed here NYE weekend and had a wonderful stay. The home is beautiful and well kept, right on Tupper Lake.

As we first experienced this VRBO rental, we all said, "Wow!" It is a gorgeous setting and a beautiful house. Everything was so new and well maintained. We enjoyed the fireplace outside on one of the evenings. The views from inside the boathouse are stunning with all the windows looking out into Tupper Lake. We enjoyed playing games around the table in the living room. You will not be disappointed. It was a great staging area for us to explore the Tupper Lake area: The Cranberry Waterfall Tour, Canoeing on the Bog River Flow with canoes rented from Racquette River Outfitters, Washboard Laundry and Donut Shop, Raquette River Brewing Company, the Wild Center, hiking up Coney Mountain and so much more. What an amazing experience we had. In addition, the fall colors were vibrants.

The cabin was perfect--immaculate, well equipped, and right on the lake. The area was beautiful, quiet, and peaceful. We had a wonderful time exploring the North Country.

Property is clean and very quiet, laid out well for family activities and would be great for kids. Accommodating host and fantastic views out your front window. Property is located behind another so not totally secluded, but still very private. No complaints. We appreciated the chance to stay here and all the amenities provided. Would definitely recommend!

This great boathouse was the perfect home base for my family of four while visiting family locally! Brandy was very responsive and helpful, and the space was comfortable and offered everything we needed! But it was the views from almost every window that made this an incredible stay. We hope to be back again soon for a longer stay!

We had the best time, great spot for the family, we brought our boat and had a great time on the water. The property was great!

Excellent place for a low key family vacation. House and all it's amenities are great. Owners are very friendly and easy to work with. Tupper is less developed then some of the surrounding lakes which is what we wanted. Watching the loons, ducks and geese during morning coffee/breakfast provided hours of entertainment. Sunsets were awesome.

We had a great time at the Boathouse. The location is absolutely beautiful—stunning views from the porch, lawn, beach, and dock. The Boathouse is newly renovated and has everything you’ll need for a relaxing and fun family vacation. All the furniture was great (and comfortable) and the kitchen was well equipped. The large fire pit was terrific; we spent almost every night out there. The beach/swim area is perfect for young kids, and the property has a canoe, paddle boat, and numerous kayaks! The Boathouse is also close to both Tupper Lake and Long Lake. Many activities, day trips, and hikes nearby (if you can tear yourself away from the beautiful waterfront!). The hosts were very communicative and friendly, and it is clear they love this property and are happy to see their guests enjoying it. All around a fantastic trip! We hope to return. Thank you!!!

Beautiful Boathouse
This property was perfect for our family Adirondack vacation. The boathouse was beautiful with incredible views and sunsets and we routinely enjoyed watching a pair of loons each day that we named Lenny and Lewey! Fish from the dock or bring your own boat which you can dock in the boathouse or on their dock. The boathouse has every amenity you’ll need or want, and was very clean and comfortable for our family. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful and even helped guide us to good places on the lake to pull up your boat and swim. It’s a great location directly on the lake and perfect for hiking, paddling, boating, The Wild Center, and the Adirondack Experience Museum. The boat launch is just down the road and was an easy boat ride from the boathouse. It was really the prefect place for our vacation.
We highly recommend booking your stay here!

Best Family Getaway
Can't say enough great things about this beautifully done Boathouse! We has the best extended weekend family vacation. Even though temps dropped from 63 to 36 during the day we were still able to complete our Tupper Lake Triad especially since we knew coming back to the cozy warm boathouse with radiant heated floors would warm us up. Our family of 6 (kids ranging from 4-11 years old) loved our stay and especially want to return in the warmer months to have the opportunity to use the canoe, paddle boat and pontoon boat.
I highly recommend this Boathouse for anyone looking for great time in the ADK with easy access to many great hikes, paddling or even just to relax and soak it all in.
