Definitely our favorite place and location to stay while in Gulf Shore! Rental was exactly as described and such a wonderful neighborhood! Will definitely be making plans for a return visit!

Easy to rent and check in and check out was simple. The beach was close and they weren’t crowded.

We have stayed in the unit half a dozen times. We are from GA and bring Kayaks to enjoy in the morning in the harbor with a dip in the pool after...and then the beach for the day. It is always super clean and well set up for kitchen. We do not go out much and cook most days. Enjoy the quiet time in the Fall at the beach!!! Go to Rouses for local options for groceries.

Great location with plenty of space. The dock was great for fishing and it was a short walk across the street to the beach. Very family friendly part of the beach with little to no traffic. All necessary kitchen and toiletry items were provided and appreciated. Would stay here again. There were a few shortcomings however with the biggest being the uncomfortable sleep number air mattress beds and the grill that is not operational due to old age and rust. We ended up using a neighbors grill so it wasn’t too much of a big deal. All in all we spent a week here and had a very pleasant experience.

Everything on site was just as expected. Clean facilities, excellent beds, close to the beach. Kelly was super responsive and helpful whenever we had questions and went above and beyond as host. The overall property, Heron Landing, was clean and the neighbors were friendly. Beach access was close, and despite some frustrating weather, we enjoyed our time there. Would definitely recommend this site to anyone looking to stay in the Gulf Shores.

My friends and I rented this place for our yearly girls trip and it was great! The location was perfect, right across the street and we had a view of the water. Also close to the bay which was right behind us. Not too far to drive in and go to eat either. We all had plenty of room and was great having an upstairs and a downstairs for those of us that like to rise early. Will definitely be returning to this condo.

We enjoy this property because is quiet but still across from the ocean. We love the Lagoon for our son who is 13 and loves fishing. Everyone in this area was very friendly. We will definitely be back for another stay.

We enjoyed being able to walk easily to the beach and to bike to many places from the condo. The amenities included with it covered everything we needed while there. It is a great area to enjoy the outdoors.

Such an easy process to book and check in/out. Our stay was amazing. Great location, peaceful community. Will definitely come back.

Nice place for family vacation! Heron Landing is our favorite spot in Gulf Shores. Short walk to the beach & beautiful sunsets over Little Lagoon. You can’t beat the value!

We loved Hobbies Hideaway! Will definitely be returning next year! The condo was updated and got our family perfectly! The walk to the beach was way easier than expected and not on a busy part of the street! The host was also so easy to work with and super responsive. Loved all of it!

We had a great week using this rental property. Very quick walk to the beach across the road (boardwalk is between two blue houses, not a pink one anymore as listed in the info). Has a few steps so be prepared for that when loading your beach wagon for your day at the beach. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking a few meals and we enjoyed sitting outside on days when it wasn’t rainy. The beds were our only complaint the entire week. They are sleep number blow up mattresses. Very uncomfortable. Another reviewer mentioned the Queen sheet needing to be replaced and I fully agree. It is very pilled and uncomfortable feeling. We flipped the sheets and it wasn’t as bad. Also, a few quick fixes need to be done to the place, such as replacing broken light switch plates but it really doesn’t ruin your stay- just probably time to do spend some money fixing these things. Would definitely rent here again as recommend to friends. Thank you!

We had a great week. Kelly was quick in responding to a question we had. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and the condo was just as it was described. If we come back to Gulf Shores, we would definitely stay here again.

This was a great rental and the property had everything one would need. ( a little trouble with washer ) Has a pretty pool and beach is right across the street which has very little traffic. I would give it a high rating and a very peaceful location!

Unit was exactly as described. Lovely unit, clean, decorated nicely. Ample space with all necessities available. Great beach access across the street and lagoon access behind unit. Only critique I have is that it’s time to put a new fitted sheet on queen bed. Would definitely rent again!!

Hobbie’s Hideaway was well stocked with most everything you will need for your stay. The space is roomy with plenty of natural light. Full size modern washer and dryer and full size kitchen appliancesAre a nice touch. Good WiFi and good cable also. Property on the older side but well built and very convenient to shopping and of course the magnificent beach.is an easy walk across a 2 lane road that is seldom busy.. I found the beds to be uncomfortable but went and purchased a queen size air mattress for $15 to solve that issue. Also if you are going to be doing any serious cooking during your stay, bring your choice pans as the ones in the unit are quite worn.. other than those two issues, my one month stay was wonderful. I would highly recommend Hobbie’s Hideaway.

We had an amazing month here. It is all you could ask for during these difficult months. This condo is private and quiet though other condos are nearby. The beach access is excellent. We definitely hope to be back again. Kelly is a great host.

We had another great stay at Hobbies Hideaway. The owner is communicative and prompt. The property is just as described. A short walk to the beach or the lagoon. We enjoyed swimming in the ocean, searching for shells, building sandcastles and watching the sunrise/set(s). We also LOVED watching the Blue Angels practice, almost daily! Definitely 5 stars, we’ll be back!

The place was amazing and the photos didn’t do it justice. Would love to come back a thousand times more.
