Suite récemment rénovée dans Fernwood House. Vous allez adorer ce studio au rez-de-chaussée avec ses plafonds de neuf pieds, ses grandes fenêtres lumineuses, ses moulures d'origine et ses armoires encastrées. Il y a une toute nouvelle grande cuisine avec tous les appareils, y compris le lave-vaisselle et une table à manger pour quatre. La salle de bain dispose d'une nouvelle baignoire / douche, vanité et toilettes. Neil and Heidi's Studio rental was a pleasure to occupy. A well equipped kitchen made it easy to prepare meals. The king sized bed was very comfortable. An electric fireplace was a bonus. The location is idyllic. A quiet neighbourhood but close to a major bus route. Within walking distance of grocery stores, the Hillside mall, cafés and pub, etc. Neil and Heidi are great hosts. Would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay in the historic Fernwood district. Loys of great, interesting neighborhood walks. We could walk to the shopping mall and grocery stores. Bus service was also nearby. The studio apartment was was well equipped. The very comfortable bed was particularly appreciated. I would recommend this place to anyone needing a getaway to a lovely city in a safe, quiet neighborhood.

stayed here for 1 month. overall great place to stay. place has everything you would need for a short term stay. very comfortable bed and great shower. This is a single unit on the main floor of a house so can be a little loud at times - just footsteps and people talking in the hallways and doors closing which may be bothersome if you like to sleep in and are a light sleeper. also there's loud music from the streets on weekend evenings but it doesn't go on too late. overall, would stay here again.

This comfortable, clean , bright apartment is perfect for walking around the area to see the blooms. Mostly it is flat, unless you want to walk to the Fernwood Square or the Hillside mall. And those are not long walks. You can easily go downtown if you chose.
The apartment is clean and has everything you might need, modern appliances in the kitchen. The only unusual aspect is entering through the bed room. Laundry is a separate area but easily accessible. Other tenants friendly , i could easily have stayed there much longer, so comfortable.
The owners are not on site but easily contacted and very good to deal with.

I came for medical reasons. Excellent place, close to medical facilities. Neighbourhood lovely for walking, dining, cafe's, markets. Place was clean, bright, nicely furnished, VERY comfortable. Very quiet from others in suites/road traffic.
Situated in an area quick to downtown Victoria, beach walks, exploring various neighbourhoods./activities. Kitchen, linen closest, closets were well equipped for a long stay.
Neil or Heidi were very quick to respond to any concerns or questions.

I stayed here for a period of 6 weeks. It is a very well thought out apartment, everything you could need is already waiting for you inside. Along 2 major bus lines, so I never had an issue travelling around. Also within walking distance to many amenities. I would definitely stay again! The house was very clean and check in/out was easy. I had no issues with laundry or noise from neighbours.

More than 1 unit on the same property but I didn’t hear a sound the duration of my stay. Can’t say enough good things about my stay!

The suite is extremely well thought out. Every time I needed something I looked to where I would keep it and there it was. Communication with the host, although never met, was excellent, for he responded to messages within minutes. The long-term neighbours in the house were very quiet and considerate.

Enjoyed our 6 wk stay so much last year, we returned to Fernwood for a second fall vacation! Wonderful hosts, cozy retreat & greatest location to access all of Victoria.

Great Apartment, great location!
I can't say enough great things about this property. Neil and Heidi were always available if needed, the space is clean and cozy, stocked with everything you need for a comfortable stay, not to mention the bed is lovely! I was there for a month and was sad to leave. I'll definitly be back!

After 4 months in Unit 4, we were sorry to leave. The flat - located in Fernwood, an eclectic and lively neighbourhood - is cosy, well-accessorised, and it satisfied all our urban needs. It is within walking distance from downtown Victoria and close to the Galloping Goose (for cyclists and walkers).
Our only recommendation is that the laundry room undergo a facelift. We highly recommend this property.

Great Place!
This is a lovely property in a quiet neighborhood. Nicely appointed and what a bed! The Fernwood Inn just up the street is the best pub food we've ever had. Neil and Heidi were super helpful.

Great place and great stay and great location
All of the neighbours were so friendly, they made me feel very much at home! Fernwood has buses every 10 minutes during the week so getting downtown was a breeze. I got to meet the host on the last day but he was available at any time by messaging. Thanks Neil and Heidi!!

Clean and close to a very active Downtown
It was a fun place to use as a base, clean and inviting. We experienced neat eating spots, BC Museum with Bohemian Rhapsody in Imax. Great to meet you, even if it meant some work. Suggest a reading lamp by the front window. We'll try next time to come without the snow. Oak Bay Beach Hotel was a delight. Cheers and all the best, Ted & Elaine.

This is a very nice, clean unit in a quaint area of the city that's close to everything. Neil was easy to communicate with and made sure we had what we needed. We would definitely stay here again!

We stayed in this fantastic condo for a month! The house is situated in a very nice neighborhood, The suite is perfect for a couple, it has a magnifc king bed, a fully equipped kitchen and a very good bathroom. I wish we could stay longer!
Ficamos aqui por um mês. O lugar é incrível, super aconchegante e confortável. A 30 minutos a pé do centro, ou 15 minutos de onibus que passam na frente ou esquina. A cozinha é roda equipada faziamos nossas refeições e economizamos bastante assim. Cama muito Boa, King, banheiro excelente! Recomendo a todos !!!!

Fernwood House was an excellent home base for us while visiting Victoria.
The property is well maintained and our accommodations were very inviting.
Large king bed was comfortable and the amenities provided left us needing nothing. Nicely stocked kitchen and a big bathroom. The added plus is that Fernwood house is located very close to downtown where we spent most of our time so getting around was easy.

Great rental in an established neighborhood
The house is older but the rental space has been updated and we enjoyed the well done decor and clean organized space. The bed and pillows were so comfortable, like being at home. The kitchen had everything we needed and the bathroom was beautiful and functional with hanging space and shelving for all our clothing and accessories.
The Netflix and WIFI access kept us entertained on the days we stayed in for a few hours to relax. We had rented bikes instead of a car so spent many hours touring the downtown area as well as our neighborhood.
There is excellent access to local food by foot or bike and we especially enjoyed the following places:
The Parsonage for breakfast (breakfast bagel with everything and a latte)
Fernwood Pizza (Herb Garden Salad/Pepperoni Mushroom/BC Red Wine)
The Fernwood Inn (Wild Rice Jambalaya, Polenta Prawns and Chorizo and Hoyne Pilsner)
We aren’t accustomed to having access to bus service but took BC Transit to Butchart Gardens and to the airport. By using the Maps app on our phones even those of us new to transit were able to find the routes we needed to take. Getting a day pass was easy as boarding the bus, telling the driver what we needed and each sliding a CA $5 into the machine beside him - out popped day passes.
We enjoyed the house, biking to area attractions and the downtown area - was a great vacation!

A wonderful respite
Dear Heidi and Neil, Well, what can I say? I came for 4 weeks then stayed for 6 1/2 months. I think that says it all. You have thought of every detail, anticipating all your guests' needs in your comfortable and stylish reno - as totally charming and responsive landlords. Fernwood House has been a wonderful experience - which became my home - while I waited for my condo to be finished. I will miss it. It has been fun living in a new neighbourhood in Victoria. One of the best places I've stayed
I loved staying in Fernwood House. It is super clean, open, airy, stylish, well-thought out and well-equipped. I felt right at home right away (what you want in a vacation rental imo). Very convenient also to downtown and to the beaches. One of the best vacation rentals I have stayed in. The hosts are well-organized and keep in touch. Thanks for everything.
