Cette maison en bord de mer est idéale lorsque vous voulez vraiment être sur la plage, pas seulement à proximité de la plage.

Friends and I spent four days here in June. We were here during the week, so Oceanside was not crowded. We all spent hours on the beach, playing in the surf, and we had a blast. There were plenty of towels and boogie boards. During high tide, there is very little beach. During low tide, you have a private beach, all to yourselves! Two different patios, and a sand area with fire pit. This place is great for a group looking to hang out, relax, and unwind.

The home is very comfortable! Tastefully decorated but casual & easy for families. The outdoor decks are wonderful, and the kids loved the sandy play area. We made fires & roasted marshmallows at least 3-4 nights. We saw dolphins and lots of seabirds almost every day.
My 7 yo granddaughter body-surfed on the boogy boards provided. The sea was shallow for a long way out. The beds are very comfortable and it was nice to have a spice rack, Keurig coffee-maker, & all the utensils, pots, pans, etc. in the kitchen. It was nice to have both an upstairs AND downstairs kitchen!

A small number of negatives, and a LARGE number of +’s.
First make sure to take property and personal security seriously…make sure doors are locked, etc…some people came onto the lower deck through an adjacent property, and made themselves very much at home while we were there sleeping…(and subsequently awakened)
Second, the home is not new, and the aging is showing a bit…
That said,. The property is great at NOT transmitting noise between floors, is very well equipped with all of life’s necessities, with a great little beach, and ohhh my the sounds and views of the surf,…magnifique. All in all it is a great property in a great location…very much recommended!

A great location. Parking was very good especially access to the two car garage. All appliances including washer/dryer, range, refrigerator were great. The dinning area, kitchen,living-room and bedrooms were all accommodating. The outside deck and access to the beach were very nice. Overall a very good set up for a large family group.
Not much on the down side. The large window looking out from the living room at the beach and ocean was half fog up which was disappointing and a leak from this same sliding glass window caused a small ceiling failure in one of the lower bedrooms. A crack in a coupling of the kitchen sink created a leak.
Overall it was a great stay for the entire family and I would recommend it use by others.

There were 10 of us -- and our 10th girlfriend trip! It was our time to unwind and connect -- have fun and enjoy the ocean sunsets! Over the last several years, several of our group have moved out of state -- but they all flew in to maintain our annual get together.

The house was perfect --enough bedrooms and bathrooms for all of us -- the beds were comfy and amazing - the house itself was perfect size - lots of room - having a lower level as a separation for those who wanted to stay up was well used. The house was well appointed with everything we needed. Appliances up todate - clean and plenty of room for multiple cooks in the kitchen. The view and sound of the ocean everywhere we looked was amazing -- the firepit and decks gave us a front row seat to waves - sunsets - views. We will be back!

We had a great stay in Oceanside. The house was very clean and comfortable for our extended family, 3 generations. There were plenty of towels and the bedding was comfortable. We had an issue with a blind in the family room the first day and Logan was very helpful and we were able to fix it trading a couple of texts. The blinds were very important as the AC struggled in the afternoon with all of the west facing windows to maintain a temperature and we weren’t sure if the AC was working on our last night.

Great house, well equipped, clean and comfortable, very spacious with two levels. Different areas to sit outside just looking at the ocean ! Beautiful sunsets.
Good surfing when tide out, need beach shoes to get over the stones to reach the beach.
50 minutes walk from Oceanside centre.

The property was great and had enough room for our family. There were some issues with appliances and the property manager was quick to respond and send a handyman. The views are just wonderful. Beach was a little rough and no sandy beach around this time of year.
Overall a great experience. There are a few minor issues with upkeep of property like with any existing home. The cleaning team and property management were very helpful.

There’s nothing like walking into a nice fresh and clean hotel room. This place wasn’t that way. Cigarette butts, litter, beer bottles, dead/dying plants and rust. Rust is everywhere! Sinks drain slowly and the refrigerator isn’t very cold. All easily fixable- broom, rake, window cleaner, drano, and paint. It’s old, quaint and has a great location but needs a lot of work. I’ll find a different place next time.

The house was perfect for our extended family, Grandparents to infant. Having the beach in the back yard was so convenient for those that wanted to swim. Having bogie boards available was a plus. The different terrace levels were great to sit and watch the waves. The only issue were some of the beds were way to soft. We would consider renting it again in the future.

We spend a week at this location, the description on line of the property was right on. Was a great house to handle our group of 12. The property manaager was very helpful from the begining to end.

Quite possibly the worst renting experience of my life. This poorly maintained house leaked everywhere when it rained. Then out of no where drips from the roof made it into one of the ceiling fans which promptly started to spark and smoke wildly. When we were frantically trying to gather our belongings I couldn't get ahold of the property manager. When I finally did their advice was to turn off the fan and someone would be out in the AM to fix it. Not sure how that helps with the rental being filled with smoke. After a few more back and forth a, they offered a smaller lesser quality rental. I asked for a refund sinceit was unsafe to stay there. They refused saying I signed a contract stating there was no refunds. So I stayed no where, they charged me anyway. Thanks for the worst customer service of my life.

We came as extended family from 92 year old to 12 year old grandkids. We wanted a place where we all could be comfortable and Dad could watch his grandkids play in the ocean. It was perfect. We all body boarded in the ocean while grandpa looked on from a rocking chair on the deck. Beds were comfortable and towels were nice. We hope to come again!

House was perfect for spending time with kids and grandkids. The roominess, location, and various outside levels were perfect. Only drawback was we went when tide was high most days so beach was limited to play on until early evening most days. Watch the tide charts !!

We really enjoyed our stay here in Oceanside. The property was easily accessible with plenty of street parking, the views were impeccable, and the property had everything you needed to have a restful and fun stay. I really liked the layout of the space and all the space you can use to hang out and enjoy the ocean.

Ocean Retreat
Large, comfortable home for our extended family vacation. Room for all of us to be together, we loved the large outside area to enjoy the ocean views and sounds. Off street parking was a bonus.

Beautiful view but some safety features should be addressed
House is decorated very well. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots and pans etc.
We arrived at 4pm and the a/c was on… it didn’t get below 82 degrees. We finally just open all the windows and doors to cool it down. There are four sliding glass doors, none of them lockable except for pvc pipes. The outside trash was completely full and my husband was able to get hold of owner who told him that the trash is picked up on Friday. (We got there Tuesday) and to just put the trash out Thursday and his people would pick up the extra bags.
In the stairwell inside the house the lights were not working. On the stairs going down to the beach some of the stair skid runners were coming up. And part of the hand railing is missing.
Not a great house for kids who simply wanted to be in the ocean all the time. Other beaches were found to take the kids too.
Expected a much better house for the money spent. Beds felt flimsy and made a lot of noise. More outlets and bigger beside tables would help those with CPAP machines and able to carry the machine a phone maybe an IPAD. Too many pillows everwhere which had to be pile out of the way taking up furniture space.
