This home was perfect for a large group! We enjoyed the outdoor space and the game room! This home had plenty of space and was very family friendly. Would definitely recommend!

This property is truly special. It's homey, comfortable, well thought out, and well appointed for guests. We enjoyed kayaking and paddling on the lake, spending time around the campfire at the house, and sharing meals together that we prepared. There were places spacious enough to accommodate our group of 6 together. And plenty of places for individuals to spend time alone. Our host, Cheri, is a gem -- she was welcoming and helpful. We couldn't have asked for anything more!

Perfect place to celebrate the last days of summer. Close to Loon Lake with private boat launch near by. Lots of boats available on site and marina close by to rent motor boats. Home is fully equipped with everything you need- we had twelve in our group and everyone was very happy with the space. Bonus- full game room with pool, basketball arcade, ping pong, air hockey, and foosball. Would recommend

This house was perfect for our large family group. Plenty of space for everyone, young and old. We cooked all our meals in the fully equipped , spacious and clean kitchen . Other than activities out and about during the day, the house had everything we needed. Bedrooms throughout the house allowed our group to spread out . The living room , dining room and kitchen was open and flowed allowing easy conversation and plenty of seating. The game room was a huge hit . Gave everyone young and old something to do . Rainy night we all ended up out there . The game room, large living area and spaciousness of the house, the fire pit or deck gave us plenty of room to spread out . Very rarely , if at all were kids or adults on electronic devices which can be rare nowadays. House was as advertised and Cherie the host was extremely helpful and communicative. Easy check in and check out. The property was conveniently located for us . Was excellent home base as we ventured out for hikes , to visit Lake Placid or Lake George. Would definitely consider staying here again .

We rented this home for our family reunion and found it to be everything promised - plenty of comfortable rooms, great living rooms with lots of space, and privacy for the whole group. The kitchen was the best stocked kitchen in any rental we have experienced - it really had all we could need, including plenty of dishware and cutlery for a large group. The grill was good sized and had an extra gas container. The game house was so welcome as it rained for the good part of our stay - many hours of ping pong and pool were enjoyed there. Cheri was immediately responsive to all questions and a wonderful resource. There was not a single negative about the house, and if we return to the area we hope to rent it again.

This was the second time staying at this property. We had a great time!

We have stayed at this house for three times at least! And each time I was so satisfied with everything! And it is not just the breathtaking views all around the property. But house itself too. It has everything you would need. Mrs Cheri is always available. Responds quickly. And of course once again we had a perfect week. I would definitely recommend. And we will be back again as soon as I’ll get approval for a vacation 😊!

We love this house. It's our second year staying there with family and friends. Plenty of room for all of us. It's a good location, close to Gore and close to 87. Cheri, our host, is very responsive to any questions we had and always a pleasure to talk to. We'll be back!

We stayed there with a big group, 11 adults. Everyone had there bed, the house is big and they appreciated the games room.

There is only one word to describe our weekend spent with family at Eagles Nest: Perfection. My son and DIL's wedding was at Friends Lake Inn and I decided to rent the house and the Lily Pad North Cottage for family so we could extend the wedding day to a wedding weekend. The host, Cheri, was wonderful to work with from beginning to end. She was most gracious allowing my husband and I to arrive early to set up for our family members who were traveling. Upon arriving, my husband and I knew immediately this was the beginning of a very special and memorable weekend. As we walked through the house, all we could say was WOW! It exceeded our expectations. Eagles Nest immediately felt like home, warm and inviting. As our guests arrived, we were delighted to hear their WOW's as they walked through the house and around the property! There was plenty of room on the main floor for our family to gather and not be tripping over each other. My 90 year old Dad was very comfortable and safe on the main floor, as there is a bathroom and bedroom. All beds were comfortable and plenty for all the adults, with beds and cribs for those who have children. Four bathrooms to accommodate our guests, which was important as we had a wedding to attend on that Saturday! The game room was enjoyed by all, as well as lots of memories made around the firepit. From towels to firewood, Cheri has thought of everything. My family is "still" raving about how beautiful and perfect the house and the weekend was. Eagles Nest was the perfect choice for my son and DIL's wedding weekend. So many memories made here with my family that will be cherished. We are talking about making it a tradition. Plenty of bedrooms and baths. Kitchen and dinning with plenty of room. Great location and lot.

I would recommend this home for families and adults alike. Plenty of parking, ample yard space for outdoor games, and a bonus game room above the garage. Cheri the manager was very pleasant and accommodating.

Out of the many times we have put on family reunions throughout New England, we have never found as complete a property as Eagle’s Nest. There was very little that we needed to bring thanks to the owners! AND COMMUNICATION! They are extremely quick on replying to emails and texts! We will be back!

First off my hat is off to Cheri the owner. Cheri was very helpful with any questions that I had with early check-in and very easy going. Our family converged here in Aug. 2022 for vacation. We found a well-equipped home that exceeded our expectations. We particularly appreciated the fire pit with plenty of seating and ample firewood, and the game room. Multiple trailheads nearby pleased the hikers in the group; the short drive to the private lake access pleased the kayak crew. We did have a couple of questions through the week, and found the owner to be very responsive. We most certainly will consider a return trip.

The Eagles Nest was the perfect spot for our large extended family of 10 adults and 4 kids. So much room, the bottom floor is like an apartment of its own with 3 bedrooms and a huge bathroom. Having 4 bathrooms was very convenient. Also great for kids, plenty of toys to keep busy. The game room was nice, but didn't use it much since we had nice weather and were out most of the time. Lake access is about 1.5 miles down the road but nobody minded, it's a 2 minute drive. The swimming beach is very nice also, shady and well maintained with attentive lifeguards. A couple issues popped up but Cheri was very responsive and worked to resolve quickly. Highly recommend.

We loved our stay at Eagles Nest. It was close enough to town for everything we needed, but secluded enough where we didn’t have to see or hear anyone else. There was ample room for our extended family. Our party consisted of my family of 4, my sisters family of 3, brothers family of 3 and my mom. Each family had its own bathroom which was a big plus. The house had plenty of room to hang out all together, or retreat for peace and quiet. We had kids ranging from 2 months-7 years old, and had plenty of toys to keep them occupied (the game room was a huge plus for my kids). We made use of the canoes and there were plenty of life vests for all ages. We also rented a boat from loon lake marina one day which we would definitely recommended. The lake was not crowded at all. Lake George was only about a 25 minute drive away which we ventured too. But we were glad to be staying further away from the congestion. Tons of breweries in the area too if that’s your thing. Cheri was quick to answer all questions and very easy to get in touch with. Would highly recommend this property and would stay again.

Beautiful and comfortable Adirondack house. Spacious enough to accommodate our large party. Very kid friendly! Close to so many things! We all loved it!

Great communication with owner. The guide they sent me covered all my questions. We arrived late, got settled in and enjoyed the fire pit for the evening. Everything was clean, in its place and we'll organized. We would do this home again. Jim Braun

Had an awesome time at this property . Cheri was great and was very easy to communicate with. The property was bigger than what pictures show. We had 10 adults . Plenty of room for us , 5 motorcycles and 2 cars . The lake access was right down the road and not an issue for us . We had a great time fishing and using the canoe also. We will definitely be coming back next year ….. the only issue , being the off season is that lots of local places to eat aren’t open or have limited schedules .

Cheri was a fantastic host for our bachelor party weekend. We had 19 people in total, and all slept comfortably. The house was really cozy and in close proximity to Gore Mountain, West Mountain, and great restaurants in Lake George. We really enjoyed the game room and fire pit as well!

We just arrived home from the Eagles Nest, where we stayed for a 4-day ski vacation. Our party included 4 teenagers, 6 adults, and 2 seniors, one of whom requires a walker and the other who hates winter. When I say that this home accommodated everyone beautifully, I'm not exaggerating. The downstairs "apartment" (and game room) was perfect for teens (we barely saw them); it is clean and spacious, with a breakfast nook, living room, full bath, and 3 bedrooms. The main floor bed & bath accommodated those with limited mobility, and the upstairs bedrooms/baths were very clean and spacious. Beds throughout the house were extremely clean and very comfortable, including multiple fluffy pillows. The house is built to accommodate crowds; the living room is spacious and the dining table/kitchen counter with stools allow at least 12 people to eat together. Kitchen was large, well-appointed, and very easy to work in (we cooked most of our meals), with a double oven and large working grill just outside. Four full bathrooms easily accommodated multiple showers and simultaneous needs. We never felt crowded during our stay. The owner was polite, responsive, and assisted with all questions. Check-in and check-out policies were clearly stated and easy to follow. Parking was ample (we had 6 vehicles and there was still room). Access to Gore Mtn, the supermarket, restaurants, and major highways was very convenient. We didn't go to the lake or utilize the dock. Location was lovely: very quiet, beautiful stars at night, and private without being completely secluded. My mother was actually dreading this trip...as she is incessantly cold. Since we've arrived home, she can't stop talking about how fabulous it was, including how warm, inviting, and comfortable the house was. My only complaint? Mother Nature wasn't super kind to us. Skied in the rain one day and on a sheet of ice the next. Worst of all, we missed the glorious powder dumped on the mountain by about 12 hours! But we can't hold the owner responsible for that :0) Highly recommend and will gladly rent again if we're in the area.

The house was perfect for our group of 16 for super bowl weekend. We were close to snowmobiling, skiing and food shopping. We had a great time!

We stayed 2 nights on loon lake. The property was great. Very clean and tons of space. I would Highly recommend to anyone and would love to go back there in the future.

The home was warm, inviting and very accomdating. Our host was accessible for any questions/ concerns before, during and after our stay. The only downfall was the Game room didn't have heat and the jet tub wasn't working. Otherwise no complaints and worth the stay.

Property Was great everything we could ask for however the water, docks, and Boat was slightly over a mile away, I was under the impression that Both the House and Water was at the same location.

Good experience overall. The house has everything you would need when going on a friends/family vacation. Our group was 8 adults and 5 kids (6mo - 5yrs old). We all slept comfortably and there was even room to spare. There were plenty of toys for the kids to keep occupied so we didn’t need to bring our own. Also the game room is great. The fire pit outside was perfect for s’mores and evening hangout. The yard was good for smaller activities. The public beach and private lake access is ~7 min drive from the house. We didn’t use the private dock area mainly because of the age group of our kids. We rented a boat one day from the marina and had a blast. I would definitely recommend doing that. Host is very easy to communicate with if anything comes up. I would recommend staying here if you are looking for a relaxing vacation in the woods with plenty of activities to do. You just have to be willing to drive and pack coolers!

The house was great, with plenty of room for our large party to be comfortable. Cheri was great to work with, and assisted us when we had questions.

We thoroughly enjoyed the house and especially the game room. That provided a lot of entertainment during the rainy times. The large deck with seating and with the outdoor picnic table was great for relaxing and not having to work so hard cleaning up after a meal! We appreciated the wood/fire pit on site. The one small drawback to the yard was the twice daily sprinkler system, which interrupted yard play many times. Grass was healthy though! The owner was very responsive to our questions/concerns. A wonderful house for spreading out our multigenerational family.

We were very happy with the house in general. The house was clean and the layout perfect for us. We definitely want to go back next year. The kids loved the play house which was very helpful as it rained the whole week we were there. But didn’t stop us from having fun
