Cette maison nouvellement achetée a été redécorée et récemment meublée avec une touche de plage! La saison 2016 sera la première fois que la maison est proposée en location. Le plan d'étage unique de cette maison offre 4 chambres très privées, une salle de bain principale, une deuxième salle de bain complète et demi-bain au premier étage!

The property from the outside was very nice, the neighbors were very friendly and helpful. The interior of the property was okay. There was really old furniture in the rooms, the smoke detectors were removed from the house, and a couple of areas in the house was damaged. I took images of the interior damage and sent them to the property owner and they were not aware of this damage or the missing smoke detectors as well as some damaged furniture in the bedrooms. If you just plan on not staying long in the house, then it’s no concern but if you plan to stay in the house more that going out, then just be aware.

The overall stay was good. The location was great. It was far enough away from the busy tourist areas but close enough for a short drive to the beach. You could drive one way Bethany beach and the other way Dewey Beach. The size of the house was great. We had two families of 4 and fit very comfortably.
You do have to bring your own towels and sheets (which honestly I prefer because I usually have to bring my own blankets when I stay anywhere anyways). The owner was very responsive, but once I mentioned the issues with the house, the communication ceased.
Some areas of improvement would be the cleanliness of the house, pictures and amenities were misleading.
The house definitely needs a deep clean, there was stains on the couch, left over ice cream and sand in the freezer, hair in the bathrooms that did not belong to us, and broken blinds and drawers in the bedroom.
The pictures showed that there was bathroom mats (which there wasn't and I was not prepared to bring that). It also showed a grill (and the check out directions also said to clean the grill before leaving, however there was no grill which was something we were planning on. The amenities stated there was beach games, bikes, and other outdoor equipment but there were none.

Great stay. Near by to lots of attractions, so even when our main plan for the weekend fell through we still had a great time. If you don't mind that linens are not provided then I would recommend it.

The front door stuck terribly and accessing the property was a hassle which required a call to the owner. This should have been addressed in the check in instructions.
Coffee maker didn't work-never a good thing!
BUT- spacious and clean. Well set up for families. Just a few tweaks as mentioned above would make it awesome.

This place is on a great location, so close to so many places. The house is very spacious and it was just the right size for our family. It was a very peaceful, quiet place. The host is very easy to communicate with and is very helpful! Can’t wait to book again!

The house looked just like in the pictures and it was very clean. The neighborhood was nice and Brittany was a pleasure to work with. Check-in was easy and Brittany messaged us to be sure that everything was good. We were traveling with our dog and the fact that dogs were allowed was a plus. There were no stains or odors or hair noticeable anywhere from previous furry renters.
Although the location was in a quiet neighborhood away from the busy and noisy areas it was only a short trip to Bethany Beach for shops, restaurants and the Ocean and only about 15 -20 minutes to Dewey Beach and Rehobeth Beach. There were also some good restaurants and a great coffee shop (Drifting Grounds) a short drive away in Ocean View.
Pretty much everything you need was provided for you but remember to take sheets for the beds and bath towels, wash rags and soap. All in all we had a great stay and we are already talking about staying here again in the future.

Our stay at this place was very nice and relaxing. Everything is within driving distance. There is a lot to do here. The owner was very pleasant and easy to communicate with. Overall, we love the quietness and peacefulness of the area.

Exactly as listed
Wonderful home with lots of space. Check in times and check out times were not flexible for our stay so if you are hoping for some flexibility better not plan on that. The host was wonderful to work with and a good communicator. Be sure to read all the fine print. We did not bring sheets for the bed so another trip to the store for us. But it was noted. Our mistake. Would stay here again. The big family/Rec room was a hit! Quick trip to the beach was a success! Thank you.

Overall Property Condition
The next door neighbor is delightful. I am allergic to dust and found that the areas under all of the furniture had a thick layer of dust. This was problematic for me. It is clear that the staff does not take the time to clean under anything. There were also dirty undergarmets left in the closet from previous guests, YUK! highlighting the fact that the property was not given a proper cleaning. There were a number of maintenance issues. The fence was in abismal shape, making it impossible to allow the dog to explore the back yard. The lights and fans have remote controls, but the batteries were mostly dead. Light bulbs were out throughout the property. The advertised coffee pot is a relic from back to the future, and had permanent stains. It needs to be removed or replaced. Outdoor lighting was is poor condition which was a hazard given the height of the patio.
The property has great potential but needs a little TLC. The host was attentive and easy to deal with, a big plus.

Back to Bethany
The is a very nice home on a quiet street that is just a short car ride to the beach. The dead-end street was perfect for early morning walks. Some lightbulbs were burnt out, but we had adequate light. There was a broken cupboard door that we couldn't fix due to a missing part. We just didn't use that cupboard. We had a great week!
