My family and I spend a week in June at 30 Moonshell that was managed by Vacation Homes of Hilton Head. The property was clean, fully stocked with all kinds of cooking utensils and they provided an ample supply of cleaning supplies to get our week started. Any questions I had they were quick to resolve via text. I did have one issue with the garage door that wouldn't open but that was not their fault. That being said they were on the spot in regards to getting us access and did not hamper our vacation at all. I would stay at this location again and plan on looking at other properties managed by Vacation Homes of Hilton Head for our future vacations.

We loved every minute of our time here. The pool and the hot tub were amazing. The house had everything we could have asked for. Everything was clean and top notch. This would be a great home for multiple families or a girls getaway. Truly never had to leave the house if we didn't want to. The path to the beach was steps away and took no time at all to get there. I couldn't recommend it more!!!

Third time renting through vacation rentals of Hilton head. The best experience working with them. This property was perfect. It had a seperate living space for my son and his family. House was immaculate. Pool and spa fantastic. It was heated perfectly. Pool guy came to clean the pine straw. If they had a skimmer that wasn’t broken you can easily keep that pool clean. Location to beach was great. Kids walked to mini golf. Husbands played golf. I took long bike rides on the beach. So don’t forget to take advantage of all the free activities. See you next year.

We had a wonderful week in Hilton Head.
The house exceeded our expectations! Very well kept and the kitchen is stocked with all you need for cooking meals.
The location is a short walk to the beach (about a block and half), so a great place for families with small children.
There were 8 of us staying (2 families) and we had plenty of room too spread out.
I would highly recommend this home for a great vacation at the beach!

VHHHI failed to notify us of nearby construction, and then bombarded us with excuses and lies. Days of jack hammering, wet sawing, excavation and back-up signals as early as 8am. The home itself had cobwebs, dust, cockroaches, a broken staircase handrail, a littered pool 5 days after hurricane Ian, flickering lights, and faulty smoke detectors. Through all this there was no offer to move or refund. After over 30 years of vacationing on HHI, it was our worst ever. On the bright side, the maintenance staff and one in two in sales were prompt and courteous. Behind the curtains, there's a Karen running the show. Stay away.

Located within walking distance to beach, but also convenient to shopping. Quiet residential area. Pool is in the sun all day! The home was clean and spacious with 2 kitchens. Screened-in porch was great for kids. House is pet friendly and back yard is fenced. Excellent location and well-appointed for a family trip. Only reason I can't leave a 5-star review is due to the overly-extensive check-out instructions and intrusive check-in process. Our reservation was nearly cancelled due to not filling out form-based information that came from a non-VRBO associated email address for the property. This appeared to be spam at first glance. I also received numerous automated text messages from the property management company. Not sure what these accomplished. Also, the last thing we wanted to be doing on the morning of checkout with elderly grandparents/small children is spend 1-2 hours cleaning, stripping sheets, taking all garbage out, etc. This is not hospitable particularly when guests are treating the property with respect and it is being left in a condition of normal use. Please consider revising these policies. They will make me evaluate other options for vacation rentals for future trips to HH.

we have rented this property several times. It is a comfortable house with good amenities and a great location. Gave 4 stars for maintenance because the pool had not been cleaned. Pine needles clogged the filter inlet which we cleaned out. Finally called VHHH which responded quickly to our request. The pool is surrounded by pine trees which drop needles continuously.

What a beautiful home in Folly Field! The set up in the home with 2 kitchens was ideal for our trip, as we had 3 couples and 2 dogs. Lots of room in this home, we never felt crowded. Gorgeous inside and out, with an artists flair for décor. The pool and hot tub were great to relax in after a day at the beach. We enjoyed many family meals on the screened in porch and enjoyed hearing the ocean every evening. Private fenced-in back yard was ideal for our pups to enjoy their vacation too! The very short walk to the beach made this location ideal. We will definitely be returning next year!

Since or children have been grown we haven't had many chances to all get together and go somewhere together. It was so nice to find a place to accommodate us all. This home is on one floor and has two separate living areas which worked out perfectly with our18 month old granddaughter. Everything was very clean and decorated beautifully. We really appreciated the artwork and the color selection. The pool was very inviting and it was a short walk to the beach. Twin bedrooms were a little smal but adequate. Bedding was very nice and pretty. Would highly recommend staying there

Great location, cozy home
We really liked the interior of the house, it was very comfortable with a few things that could use some attention but overall happy. We were disappointed that the hot tub wouldn't work as we paid extra to have it. The water wouldn't heat up and it took a couple days to have it addressed, but even after the company came to look at the issue, it wasn't resolved. The house is an excellent short walk to a private gate that leads to the beach. Everything we needed was only a 5-10 minute drive away.

Family Fun
All the reviews were correct about the property. The house was clean with everything we needed from brooms to dishes and other cooking aids. Our kids were looking forward to the heat for the spa but the gas was turned off. My only complaint would be that the outside needed some attention with regards to the grass, shrubs and a couple of pads needed replaced at the foot of the steps - just some outside tlc.

Had an absolutely wonderful stay at 30 Moonshell. The home itself was very clean. We traveled with another family and the setup of having a second separate living area and kitchen was perfect for us. The home was very clean and even had the little details that made traveling with kids easier (step stools for kids to reach bathroom sinks, baby gates, blackout curtains in kids rooms, etc). The management company was very responsive to any questions/needs we had and addressed them immediately. The proximity to the beach was a block away and was so easy to walk to. We enjoyed the private access and less crowded beaches. The Folly Fields area is in a central location and close to shopping and restaurants but also tucked inside a quiet neighborhood. It is also only 2 blocks from a walking/running/biking trail. The backyard is completely private with an outdoor shower which made it super easy to clean the sand off of the kids upon returning from the beach. The pool was large and got a lot of use during our stay. The connected hot tub and the waterfall were nice touches. We also enjoyed the large screened-in porch - for evening adult drinks, a lunch break from the pool, and an extra common space. Overall, we had a great week and were thrilled with the house! This is the second time staying in the Folly Fields area and would most definitely come back to 30 Moonshell.

Nice spring break at convenient Folley Beach house
A well appointed recently constructed home with 4 bedrooms, two full kitchens, nice veranda, garden and a conveniently heated pool and spa. Very close to beach (1 block to walkway 106A). Overall we were very satisfied with rental. Requested management to clean pool after rainstorm and they were responsive. Minor comments: outdoor grill could use a replacement.

House has a nice layout, good size kitchen though no supplies like foil, tupperware, to make cooking easier. Beds were very comfortable. Location was great. Living room needs comfortable chairs. Two straight cane chairs not fun to watch TV Couch not enough for two+ people. Paid for heated pool in winter which never did work tho mgmt co responsive and did try to help.

Great House for our Family Getaway
This house was great for our recent family getaway. We had 7 adults and two toddlers. Loved that the house has two separate living areas, so people could spread out. It's also a very short walk to the beach, which was great with young children. We loved the pool and big, private yard for the dog as well! Overall a wonderful place to stay!
