Vintage Bungalow - 1 Block to Beach Acesss
Ce charmant bungalow sur la plage a été construit en 1942 et il réside dans une cour tropicale soulful dans le meilleur quartier de Encinitas. La cour et la maison parlent de détente, mais l'océan attire. Les espaces de vie et salle à manger sont ouverts et accueillent une réunion de famille confortablement. Chaque chambre a un lit queen size avec placard et beaucoup de rangement. Il ya aussi un troisième ch. avec un confortable canapé-lit.
La cuisine cuisine rénovée est le rêve d'un chef avec comptoirs en granit, appareils en acier inoxydable, six feux gaz et un tiroir complète d'épices pour les gourmets. La salle à manger peut accueillir confortablement jusqu'à 8 personnes et une porte à trois volets ouvre sur la terrasse donnant sur une grande cour tropicale qui est incorporé dans le salon. Il ya un barbecue et une douche extérieure sur le patio côté, et un parking est dans la rue. La propriété est partagée avec The Constant Gardener et son mari qui vivent dans le chalet à l'arrière de la grande cour, ils sont très sympa et serviable si nécessaire.

We had a fantastic time at this beautiful rental. Our hosts Wendy and Paul are very warm and welcoming and were always available to answer any questions. The home is exactly as shown. The kitchen was well stocked and we had everything we needed for the beach. Fantastic location, we rarely used our vehicle. Walked to both beaches and downtown. Charming home and beautiful garden, definitely a place to relax. We would love to come back.

We had a wonderful time. Wendy is really nice and welcoming. It had everything you needed. The beds are very firm,several pillows to choose from, our son was comfortable on the pullout. Neighborhood was quiet, street parking and close to beach & restaurants. Thank you for having us.

We had a fantastic 4 days at this beautiful craftsman house. This was our first trip to the area and we will certainly go back. Wendy and Paul were wonderful hosts.
The house was perfect for the 4 of us. The garden is beautiful and the beach is only one block away. There are quite a few steps down to the beach, but it is well worth it.

Wendy and Paul’s cottage was the perfect beach getaway. In addition to the 5 minute beach walk, loved the easy walks to restaurants, coffee shops, massages and more. Perhaps the best part of this listing were the amenities—they had EVERYTHING you could ask for and then some. Would definitely return.

Book this place. The owner is on property- living in the bar house- and is incredibly thoughtful and accommodating. Well equipped for kids. Read the details of what is included before you pack. Especially for kids stuff. We walked to ice cream, 3 beaches and a playground. Location can’t be beat.

This property is exactly as described! The location is perfect in very walkable area. The house is well maintained and has everything a family needs. The backyard garden is gorgeous! There are plenty of restaurants, ice cream shops, coffee shops, and bars within a short distance. You can walk to the moonlight beach access in a few minutes. It's also close to the touristy places like the SD Zoo and Legoland. Finally, Wendy and Paul are superb hosts! They provided us with plenty of recommendations in the area and we're quick to answer questions when we had them. We loved our stay and will definitely be back!

This is a very special place. Three bedrooms, so lots of room; offers so many details- a few yoga mats if you want one, a selection of beach towels, a tray for if you want breakfast in bed, boogie board or two, bbq cookout grill-- all including a lovely private yard with lush,exotic plants and an outdoor table. We absolutely loved it. On street parking wasn't difficult

Our stay was perfection! Wendy and Paul are wonderful hosts, and the home is one of the most well-equipped rentals we’ve ever stayed at. The outdoor space is beautiful, and location is great too—walking distance to restaurants and beach. We would absolutely stay again. Look no further!

This was a lovely home, very well-stocked. We were a couple with our adult son. We didn't need the third bedroom for sleeping, so the sofa bed was closed and made a wonderful second sitting area, in addition to the living room. There were two lovely outdoor seating areas, and there was additional seating in the front of the house. Wendy was kind enough to stop by on our first morning; she was warm and helpful with tips about our stay. There were just two drawbacks to the home: 1. The shower in the main bathroom was not usable, because the showerhead had been installed too low (perhaps it could be replaced with a handheld showerhead), and 2. the dryer was very weak and required multiple cycles. But overall, I'm giving it five stars, because it was a very nice home.

We loved this house. It was perfect for our family of four. The house was clean and was one of the best supplied properties we’ve ever stayed at. The yard/garden were beautiful and we loved sitting on the deck with our coffee listening to the birds.
Wendy was a wonderful host. She was welcoming and very easy to communicate with before and during our stay.
The location of the house is great. It’s in a quiet, family friendly neighborhood. We could walk to the beach and restaurants.
We would definitely stay here again.

Wendy and Paul’s property was perfect for our family of four. Pictures and descriptions were exactly as described in the listing. We had no issues during our stay and were comfortable knowing they were both on site and responded quickly to text/phone if anything did come up.
This location was so lovely for beach sunsets, shops/cafes, and parks for kids. We even enjoyed the Leucadia farmers market on Sunday afternoon. Thank you for a warm and welcoming experience.

Everything was as described in the listing. Home was clean and had everything we needed for our family of four. It’s been meticulously maintained inside and outside. Wendy was very responsive and helpful. The neighborhood seemed very safe and offers easy access to walk to different beaches and views of the ocean. There are also many restaurants and shops within easy walking distance. Would love to stay here again for a longer visit.

Wendy and Paul are warm, welcoming hosts, available and easy to communicate with. Wonderful, comfortable, cozy home stocked with absolutely everything you could need and amazing yard/landscaping. Wendy and Paul are welcoming, warm and available hosts. Neighborhood is close to beach, great tacos, Italian cuisine, coffee shops etc. . Perfect location for us, a family with 2 young children. This beautiful Craftsman home has the charm and coziness for those seeking a beach retreat with plenty of small town charm. Walking distance to dining, coffee shops and the beach made the location ideal. The gorgeous dining room extends into the patio via a large bi-fold glass door. Our family thoroughly enjoyed dining el fresco with the warm weather and ocean breeze. Our host, Wendy, provides a well stocked kitchen for those who love to cook on vacation also. Thank you for providing such a warm welcome to our family. We shall see you again!

Wendy and Paul have done an amazing job with this rental. They have such a cozy rental home and it has everything you need for a comfortable stay. They have nice cookware, comfortable beds, it's very clean, big yard, and in a nice neighborhood. We will defiantly be going back! Best rental in my history of renting :)

The properties Gardens, the size of the yard for our granddaughter to run and play, the beach gear for everyone as well as the home itself it was all just really special. We had a great stay and had everything we needed. We stayed with 2 elementary aged kids and they loved the beach toys, playing in the garden and the few toys and games in the living room. The location is great-walking distance to an amazing beach and great restaurants. Wendy was so welcoming, friendly and responsive, but we felt we had plenty of privacy. We would definitely stay here again! so close to Legoland and everything else in San Diego.

We had the best stay at this quaint and magical bungalow home. Wendy and Paul were the most gracious and we couldn’t have asked for better hosts. The location was a perfect walk to the beach, restaurants/bars and shops. The place had everything we needed. Porch hangs and spacious yard for bbq’s were such a bonus for us. We can’t wait to stay here again!

This home has it all, (and yes it feels like a home completely stocked with everything you need). The large dining room table allowed our family and friends to have fun playing games and putting together puzzles. We rode our bikes everywhere from this centrally located house. We enjoyed beaches, restaurants, gardens, Pickleball courts, bars, coffee shops and museums. Wendy and Paul made sure everything was perfect for our stay…. And it was.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Wendy’s delightfully warm & welcoming cottage! It is an extremely comfortable home with plenty of beds to accommodate my very tall family (husband and sons 6’5”). There is an extremely comfortable pull-out bed in the den which also conveniently boasts its own closet. Wendy left the front porch light on for our after dark arrival and stopped by the next morning to greet us and make sure we were knowledgeable of the Encinitas locale. The yard has beautifully maintained gardens and there is a nice deck where you can sit and enjoy the beauty of your surroundings. The town of Encinitas is within walking distance and has many shops & restaurants, and Moonlight Beach is also a very short walk away. We would highly recommend Wendy’s cottage to anyone wanting to stay in the Encinitas area. It is a great find!

This is more than just a vacation rental- this is like going home for us. Wendy and Paul are lovely, and entirely respectful of your privacy. My daughters adore them- they're like adopted grandparents! The yard is the icing on the cake for us- our kids play for hours and we feel safe in the space. We've already booked our return, we look forward to it all year!

Wendy and Paul are great property managers and people. They were on top of everything. The property is very convenient to freeways, close to the beach, and within easy walking distance to restaurants. It is an older home but the kitchen and master bathroom are newly remodeled and the house is decorated well, thanks to Wendy's good taste.
We really enjoyed our stay and as we drove away, I said to myself, "If we lived down here, I can imagine being good friends with Wendy.

This was our second consecutive summer visiting this wonderful property. This year, we stayed for 3 weeks and had another very positive experience. The house is comfortable and furnished with everything we needed. The location is terrific -- just 2 blocks to beach access (where we watched gorgeous sunsets every evening), and within walking distance (or a short drive) to everything in Leucadia and Encinitas. The hosts, Wendy & Paul, are extremely helpful and communicative, and respond quickly to any request. A real find in a special area.

We did a staycation at Wendy‘s property and it was great. Her yard is amazing and perfect for our young children to play in between Beach outings and grabbing dinner in downtown Encinitas. she was very accommodating, even filled up a kiddie pool our kids to play in. Also was very generous with check in time. Updated kitchen and master bath were a plus. Lots of kitchen utensils, snacks and amenities. We’d definitely stay here again!

We absolutely loved our stay at this great home with a beautiful outdoor space, and a short walk from the beach. The owners, Wendy and Paul, are very wonderful and helpful people. Tranquil bungalow by the sea
Had a wonderful time staying at this place. Owners are on prem (in the back house) yet not intrusive and are very friendly. The property is quite serene, yet super close to shops and restaurants. Juanita’sTaco Shop on the corner is a must-eat SD staple…visited multiple times during our stay! The owners had lots of beach stuff that made it convenient to enjoy beach days with the family.
