Beautiful clean unit , great location in the tower

Deposit hold $1000!!! And valet parking is $58 a day. So an each $1500 is needed!!! On top of what I paid for the week stay. No laundry soap available. Had to go to CVS & also grocery store. Used same towels all week. If I called
For more there would be a housekeeping charge. Also had to buy dishwashing soap to clean dishes.
Not allowed to bring all your own food or drinks to pool area and will be harassed if your carrying it to take to beach. The offer chairs but umbrella $27 each. They sell food and drinks but you will pay $$$$$$$.
Went to club and paid $50 to enter and paid $21 for a mixed drink and $20 for a can beer.
Performer never showed up either… maybe after we left at 0300!? Very crowded young crowd. Must be wealthy to sit at tables… facility was beautiful but pools were like 80-90 degrees!!! Hot ocean and then you think going to pool to cool off it’s just as hot! Like a hot tub!
Room needs new carpet and couch… dirty.
Also two block away parking garage… just as pricey. I know it’s Miami your gonna pay for parking!
Cons: views and quite neighbors. Valet is awesome plp!!!

Always wanted to stay in the Fontainebleau where the Rat Pack gathered. I heard Sinatra used to retire to one of the penthouses in the Sorrento tower. This was a nice suite with huge balcony and kitchen. Didn't want to leave the hotel during my stay in Miami beach. Only problem was the bathroom had a pullback shutter above the tub which did not properly close. Would stay here again.

Everything was as advertised. Easy check in process (although there can be a long line at 4PM check in on a busy weekend, which there was). Valet charges are included with the room which is a nice savings and the separate valet for the Sorrento tower apart from the rest of the hotel guests make in and out very easy. Very good stay.

Fridge freezer broken
The refrigerator and freezer in this unit needs replaced. Prior reviews stated it was broken and we assumed they’d fixed it by the time we came. It was not fixed. Unit was lovely other than that. Bed was very comfortable.

The host was very responsive and she made things happen even being off site. Thank you. The fountaine Blue is a staple to Miami Beach. It was nice. The view was nice. The big balcony off the living and the bedroom was amazing. She even accommodated my family that traveled with us. Thank you Miriam.

Great Location and Pool
Spent the last 4 days at this property. Pool and view from unit is amazing. Refrigerator did not work and had to throw out my food. Miriam was very attentive and refunded me for my food. Hotel is great but housekeeping is horrible. Checked in room and had no pillows or blanket for pull out, no dishwashing soap, water on floor from broken refrigerator. Worst I have ever encountered. I can only hope something can be done about housekeeping as it was beyond annoying for the money you spend at this property.

Weekend in Miami Beach
The property is everything as advertised. Top quality property in a top quality location. Communication with the owner was almost instantaneous. Would definitely come back.
Check-in left much to be desired. We arrived a bit early, were told the space was being cleaned and would be ready within half an hour. Took almost two hours. Owner offered a late checkout to make up for it. All worked out well.

Overall Great but a couple minor issues
We had a great one week stay and the room looks just like photos. The view was great, and room was clean upon arrival. The Sorrento side is very beautiful, clean, and has a private pool and desk on the 5th floor across from the room which is great if you don't want to swim in the main pools with too many people. We did have issues with having the room clean while we were there and even after calling the front desk never received cleaning or more towels. We had to search for a cleaning person to ask for more towels when we ran out. That was very annoying. We also learning on our last day from the hotel that we were supposed to have been given free parking and free spa passes with the room stay. We were never told by the property manager nor the front desk upon check-in of these perks. This is very unfortunate. The listing should update this as it would've been great to receive. The hotel won't tell you. And they do nothing to honor any services offered by the manager. Overall, it was great stay, but hotel is very expensive and adds 18% service charge for everything you order. The beaches were clean and we were very fortunate with great weather.

Slightly disappointing
The property seems understaffed. We couldn’t get checked in until 5pm when check in was at 4. Therefore allowing us little to no time to get ready for a surprise birthday dinner. No one answered the phones when trying to get room service or pur car from valet. Every time we needed something we had to walk to the front desk which was closed in the building we were in. Therefore we had to walk to the other building to get what we needed. The property we stayed in lists newly renovated. The place was very dirty. Stains all over the carpeting, requiring you to wear shoes in the property at all times. The kitchen was filthy. Old food around the garbage can area which had created a foul smell throughout the suite. OT what I was hoping for for a surprise birthday get away. :/

Great place to stay
We stayed at many different places before, but nothing to compare to this one!! Absolutely gorgeous! Spacious and clean! We really enjoyed the pool literally off our room. We also took advantage of the free access to the spa which was great! Will definitely return.

Beautiful unit
My boyfriend and I visited Miami for my birthday and the unit was exactly like the photos! Very spacious and the views were amazing! You are able to view the pool and the beach from the unit! The bathroom was my favorite part! Minibar was stocked with great selections. The staff at the hotel were very nice and very quick with any request that we may of had! The check-in and out process was a breeze! Our flight got in earlier than expected and we were able to drop our bags off and head straight to the pool! We received a text message when the room was ready and the bags were brought to our room! Definitely will be coming back and will book through here. Thanks again.
