Great Sandy apartment with hot tub and pool table!

We stayed a month (mid Feb to mid March) at this awesome apartment to ski the Cottonwood Canyons. This place is as pictured and more... very clean and SPACIOUS! Everything you need is provided including a washer and dryer. And, if you do run into something you need, Summer, our host, will see to it that you have it. (Thanks, Summer!)
Speaking of Summer (and Russ)... incredibly kind and funny people. We so enjoyed talking with them and getting to know their Fam.
The apartment is a convenient drive, or bus ride, to the ski slopes and well as many other activities, food and nightlife.
And, the hot tub after a day of skiing... do I have to say it... INCREDIBLE! You can even see the mountaintops!
We definitely recommend staying here for a few days or a month for your Utah adventures!

We came for spring break so the boys could snowboard/ski. The location of the property was fantastic. It was an easy drive to the base of the canyons (probably around 10 minutes) and the resorts at top around 25+ min - depending resort and traffic. The See & Ski shop for rentals is only a mile and half away from the house, grocery store about a half mile, and there are plenty of restaurants near by.
Pool table was great. Hot tub was clean and hot! Beds were comfortable and kitchen was fully stocked.

We skied at Snowbird, Solitude and Brighton. Drove most of the days as the roads were clear and no snow. Did take the UTA bus on the last day where it was snowing.
Yelp helped us find some great restaurants real close, everything was within 10 min drive for good food, shopping grocery, takeout etc. Host was very responsive.
Bedrooms with large closets, if you were going to sleep more than 4, then only downside might be the one bathroom. Other than that place is huge and very comfy.

Overall the property was great. Very comfortable and spacious. Suggestion for a 2nd lamp on the night stand in the bedroom. Jacuzzi was clean and hot, perfect for a relaxing soak.
Really enjoyed our stay and plan to be back.

2 friends and I came to SLC to ski the local mountains. The location was perfect to quickly get to the resorts and then come back and relax in the hot tub before going out again the next day. The property was also very comfortable and spacious.

We really loved staying at this beautiful property! Everything was really nice inside, the location was convenient for skiing and going out afterwards, and the view from the backyard was great. We had a ton of fun with the pool table and hot tub. As a basement rental, you do occasionally hear the owner's family upstairs, but not a big deal. Walking down the stairs in the backyard to enter the rental would be tricky for those with mobility issues, as you do have to hike down uneven rock steps (though it was fine for us). The owner was also super nice and helpful. We'll definitely be back!

Great Place
This is a great place with a good location outside of the city. Good for a family (tv, pool table, hot tub, kitchen, washer/dryer), and extremely well stocked with everything a family needs.

Great spot

Great place to stay
really nice place. Well appointed with everything you need for a vacation. Location is centrally located to town and easy to get around. Ski slopes about 40 min away. Lots of great things to do near by. We would recommend anyone who wants to stay in town near Salt Lake City and Park City skiing this is the place. Summer and Russ were awesome and super helpful with anything we requested. Beautiful basement apartment super large and spacious. We would definitely stay there again.

Fantastic stay in Sandy
I had an amazing time staying in this beautiful property. It was so clean and provided everything I needed. The pool table and hot tub were an added bonus! The bed was super comfortable and the seating was also spacious and comfortable as well. The kitchen was fully equipped and it was so nice having a washer and dryer as well. Highly recommend this beautiful and private property in Sandy, UT!!

It was a great place. We enjoyed ourselves. There were a few bugs because it’s a basement. The stairs were the biggest issue. We were two 74 year olds and a 39 year old. Hauling all of our stuff down the steps was a hazardous job. Your “railing” doesn’t provide much support. This is an accident waiting to happen that would be costly to you. Please improve the steps for future visitors.

Great location for skiing different resorts in the area
The location and space was perfect for our family of 4 for what we were looking to do on our trip. We got in late and the check in process was seamless. Beds were very comfortable, lots of towels for both the bathroom and the hot tub were provided, there was a washer and dryer to ensure our ski stuff was dry for the next day, and the hot tub was nice and hot!

The home was beautiful, it also had everything we needed! The location was perfect for our ski vacay
The home was the perfect place to unwind after long days of skiing. With 2 boys that don’t always get song it was easy for them to have their own space. Having a washer and dryer was a life saver! We were able to cook our own meals as the kitchen was fully stocked with any dish or pan we would need! We will be back next year!

Great stay!
This was a great place to stay and ski all of the Ikon pass stops near Sandy, Utah! The owners were very responsive to questions. The property was like having our own hotel suite and they even allowed us to use the fire pit in the back yard. Your own private hot tub for after skiing. It doesn’t get better than this!

Amazing
We enjoyed every bit of our stay. From the very clean home to the private hot tub, everything was perfect. Summer and Russ were both very accommodating especially during check in. If we need an Air bnb in Salt Lake again, we will definitely be reserving this one again. We stayed for a whole month.

Fourth of July Escape
What a retreat...... it was a great week. The apartment was exactly as pictured. You have your own entrance with a keyless pad which made it easy to access when we arrived. The place was so neat and clean upon arrival. There were instructions to help with our stay. The outdoor hot tub was amazing and secluded in our own little “outdoor cavelike”. The owners were very easy to communicate with and they quickly respond to our emails and concerns. I would recommend this place as a great get away. Thanks

Escape, Relax, and Revunenate
This property is top notch! The hot tub and pool table were amazing after long days of skiing. The beds are crazy comfortable! Super centralized for powder chasing around to ski resorts with the best conditions. The owner is very nice and super helpful. Staying at this property will set you up for an amazing vacation!

Easy access to Wasatch Backcountry
My brother and I found this apartment to be an awesome location for our 3-day backcountry ski trip to the Wasatch. The hot tub was a great after a full day of touring. We made breakfast each morning in the fully stocked kitchen and the beds were super comfortable. Summer was super responsive to questions and we will very likely be heading back in future years.

Cozy Spot near the Ski Areas!
The Perfect Spot was just that for our family!! We stayed here over Christmas week to enjoy some skiing & family fun! The pool table & hot tub were used often & enjoyed by all. The well equipped kitchen was great for meals made in after a long day of skiing. The beds were very comfortable too! Plenty of private parking on the property. Definitely recommend!

Great location!
This place was perfect for our snowboarding trip. We were close to Snowbird, Solitude and Brighton and had plenty of room for us and our 2 adult children. It was nice having a hot tub to relax in after spending the day on the slopes.

Beautiful apartment with a few drawbacks
This is a beautiful, comfortable and spacious basement apartment in a great location. It was very clean and one of the things I loved was that it was stocked with dish and hand soap, garbage bags, laundry detergent, and bathroom toiletries (which is very helpful when you’re flying in and don’t want to spend the first day shopping around buying full sizes of all these things that you can’t take home with you)! It made our stay so easy and stress-free! It was also very well stocked with kitchen towels, washcloths and bath towels.
We loved the pool table and game table and spent a lot of time playing both. The living area is very large and comfortable for watching a movie. Wi-fi worked great too!
The only reason I’m giving this 3 stars overall is because we experienced some noise from upstairs (normal living on hardwood floors and entertaining in the late evenings and a deck being built just above us) which kept us up for a few nights, even with earplugs. We also were not able to control the thermostat from the basement and had to text the owner to make adjustments. We stayed during one of the hottest times of the summer and would have liked to adjust the temp during the night and in the evenings. Summer was quick to adjust it when I texted but I didn’t text her in the middle of the night when we would have liked it a little cooler.
If you choose to stay here, just talk to the owner in advance about what noise you can expect to hear so as to manage expectations. And there is probably a solution for adjusting the temperature more easily.

Feels like home away from home
Super spacious basement condo. The space (and hosts) is super warm and welcoming. The place has recently being redone and everything is spotless. Top quality beds, mattresses, linens, etc.
