We can not say enough great things about our stay. The Casita itself is great - roomy - comfortable - clean - peaceful and wondrful. The "Secret garden" was amazing" Joshua is a great guy - attentive - friendly and just a good person. We could not recommend a stay here enough!!!!!

We appreciate the very detailed directions to the property. Best to arrive before dark as I can imagine it would be difficult to find at night. Loved the patio. The casita was well equipped and comfortable. The host was very pleasant and easy to communicate with.

The casita is charming, comfortable, quiet, lovely room decor. King bed very comfortable. Hosts were more than kind. Very convenient to all area attractions. Minimalist kitchen. Adequate for us, but not for serious cooking ( no dishwasher, limited dishware) Biggest disappointment was that the lovely, beautiful rear garden ( what attracted us) was unusable due to biting insects!! Instant, voracious infestation. Fogging the area no help at all. Insects infest garden July to October ( monsoons)according to hosts. Do not plan on outside activities those months. Nice little place, but basic and seasonally buggy.

Property was well stocked and comfortable. The outdoor area was a bit overgrown. New grill that worked great comfortable bed to sleep in. Within a short drive to many different activities.

Very well stocked for a VRBO and clean

I feel that I was misled about the location. It definitely was not withing walking distance of Old Town Cottonwood. The rental itself was fine, but the surroundings on the outside were unkept, isolated and somewhat scary to us. I did not feel comfortable being outside at all.

My husband & I stayed here for a long weekend while visiting family. The location is a bit hard to find the first time, especially at night. But once you get there it is a cute place with enough space to relax. Furniture was comfortable. Next time we’d like to stay when the weather is a little warmer to enjoy the very cool garden. Will definitely look to book this place again.

Our stay at the Secret Garden was not just cozy for us and our dogs, but the amenities were generous and the setting felt like a trip around the world. Intriguing elements were included in every room and each told a story of the international travels made by loved ones. The peaceful atmosphere continues into the private courtyard where a fountain provides a calm space to relax beneath the pomegranate and ivy canopy. Beautiful stay, can’t wait to return!

We felt very comfortable and relaxed. The location was secluded, quite, and safe. We were busy every day during our stay and were able to relax and sleep very well at night.

We enjoyed our stay, however, though I checked with the owner, the area is not completely fenced for a dog. There is a great dog park a couple of miles away! Very cute inside and comfortable. Everything one needs for simple cooking. The shower is great! The outside patio and garden areas need some work and clean up. It is a good location, a unique oasis!

With the price of vacation rentals in Sedona being so high this is a great way to stay there for a much lower cost. And almost everything in the house is quirky and probably thrifted but it makes the stay unique. The house was clean but I was very disappointed that the outdoor spaces were not nearly as kept and beautiful as the pictures indicated. Everything was overgrown and dirty. There definitely wasn’t any garden to pick fresh produce from or fresh eggs for breakfast. The owner should probably update his listing to reflect that.

The property is exactly as expected and what we needed for a short trip to Valley Verde and Sedona area. We spent most of the time out exploring. Kitchen was stocked enough for simple meals Wouldn't necessarily be great for more than 2 people or long stays or if you need the house to be fancy or the main draw of the stay. But if you are a couple needing a little comfy home base for exploring the Valley, it worked great.

We had a great time at this property. It was quiet and clean. The kitchen was well-stocked with supplies and I very much appreciated the filtered water! Most of all, the property was perfect for our dog. She loved exploring the large and interesting yard. We all felt comfortable and would recommend staying here.

The property is conveniently located close to downtown Cottonwood. The area is quiet and the wifi speed was good. It is a stand alone building and comes with a kitchen, separate bedroom, living and dining area. There is an outside sitting area with a lot of green plants. The place was clean but not super clean. The way it is decorated and furnished makes it difficult to deep clean. There were sun shades by the entry that are too low. Tall people, like my husband, will hit their heads on them. There were very few drinking glasses and the coffeemaker was ancient. The bed is big while the bedroom is very small. There is very little space to put a suitcase. The mattress is so thin you can feel the support slats underneath. The metal headboard bangs if you move too much. The bathroom mats slide around on the wood floor because they should be rubber backed. The shower head is in the wrong place. There is no central heat just two free standing heaters in the living area. In order to have heat in the bedroom the doors have to be left open. It looks like it only has evaporative cooling even though the description says air conditioning. We use an evaporative cooler in our house in Sedona and it does not work during the hottest days of summer. We were there in November so was not an issue but would be something summer visitors may want to check. The exterior landscaping could use work. Watch when you walk outside as there could be dog droppings. There is a large pot hole in the driveway. It would be great to have a book with instructions on how to use things. We never could get the TV to work for anything else other than playing a movie. The directions were a bit confusing as the last portion of the road is posted with a lot of no trespassing signs and the addresses are not clearly marked. We has stopped because we questioned if our GPS directions were correct. A neighbor was nice enough to show us the entrance.
