Our Cottage is in Historical Luray, Walking Distance of Town Restaurants & Shops
Notre gîte peut accueillir six. Une suite avec bain à l'étage. Deux chambres de deux lits jumeaux et un lit queen lits, salle de bain complète, salon et manger dans la cuisine à l'étage principal. Sous-sol complet, porche arrière et petite cour avec stationnement hors rue. Chauffage central / climatisation, TV, DVD. Internet / WF, le service téléphonique local. Sièges de table 4 de réfrigérateurs / machine à glaçons, micro-ondes, lave-vaisselle, l'élimination des déchets, cafetière, mixeur et grille-pain. Vaisselle, argenterie, casseroles et poêles, une cuisinière avec four, cuisine équipée avec des bases, draps, serviettes, laveuse, sécheuse, fer et planche à repasser. Barbecue à l'extérieur, table et chaises. Tout pour profiter du confort de la maison. Propriétaire / exploité est juste un coup de téléphone.

Our group of 4 adventurous women loved the house and its great location. The house is well appointed and had everything we needed. We used this as our base to Shenandoah National Park where the hiking was amazing and the town of Luray had a lot to offer in regards to food and drink.

We had a great stay in Luray. Our location was perfect for visiting the park and for exploring all the little local towns. The beds and pillows were super comfortable and the towels were great. Also specific to our stay, the mountain was out of power for three days thanks to Hurricane Debbie, but we had power and cell service the entire time. I would definitely recommend.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage was very homey and the beds were very comfortable. The location was convenient for everywhere we wanted to go—Shenandoah National Park, Lake Arrowhead and Luray Caverns.

The location was perfect for our daytime hikes in Shenendoah National Park and nighttime meals in Luray. The host was responsive and helpful.

The hosts have thought of everything and supplied this lovely cottage with towels, dishes, necessities and extras galore, accordingly. It is neat and clean and it shows the moment you walk in. Lana and Eddie deserve a Super Host rating, for sure! If you're looking to enjoy the mountains and caverns of beautiful Virginia, don't hesitate to stay here. The town has a bit of everything also.

Comfortable place. Close to Shenandoah and Luray restaurants. We enjoyed our stay. Minor note: I'm 6'1" and hit my head several times on upstairs doorways which are about 5'11".

Our family of 5 recently stayed here for the weekend. The home was perfect for us. Very clean and homey feeling. It's a smaller home but we never felt crowded. The upstairs bedroom and bath were large with plenty of room. The living room was cozy and comfortable. Almost felt like we were home! Would highly recommend!

From the moment we walked into the home, we felt welcomed and comfortable. Everything was in pristine condition. The neighborhood was close to the Greenway, which we walked a couple of times. Downtown Luray was quaint and had several nice eateries and shops. The drive to Shenandoah was scenic, and driving along the Skyline Drive was breathtaking. We can’t thank Lana And Eddie enough for their responsiveness to any questions we had. The house was just the right size for us! We loved it!

This was such a perfect property for my wife and I and our two baby boys. Great location! Very close to the wedding venue and other Luray attractions. Hope to return again in the future.

This lovely cottage was very comfortable. It was meticulously clean. Our daughter wanted to see the caverns for her birthday, and this location (five minutes away) made that a breeze! We could even drive back for lunch and enjoy the rest of the day back at the caverns.
This place is small, but it worked well for our family of five. The kitchen had what we needed, and the beds were very comfortable. Our kids loved the little, fun bed pillows. The upstairs shower does have a handle that won't stay on well, but the owners intend to remodel that.

VERY clean, comfortable, well-equipped and stocked home. Perfect location for all we wanted to do. Also had the pleasure of meeting the owner, a lovely and generous person.
2 grandparetns, mom and 3 grandchildren. Kitchen was small for all of us but we made it work. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it for others!

This was a truly enjoyable home in a great location. Convenient walk to town and short ride to area attractions. The hosts went above and beyond with finishing touches and warm hospitality. By far one of the easiest check in and check out processes we have ever experienced. Highly recommend this as your place to stay in Luray. Beautifully finished home. Lovely yard as well. Clean and comfortable with a well equipped kitchen for making meals or just enjoying some afternoon snacks and cocktails. Things to try in the area - tubing on the river, Luray Caverns and several great local wineries. West Main Market, Il Vesuvio and Mimslyn Inn for meals. Also walk or run the Greenway it’s great for morning exercise. Again a big thanks to our hosts for a wonderful stay!

L & E's In-Town Cottage immediately felt like an old friend giving a warm hug while asking, "Why'd you stay away so long?" Lana and Eddie say they are committed to their guests' comfort and convenience, and they prove it! I was really pleased with the sparkling cleanliness of the whole cottage and with the kitchen (meal-prep ready); my husband gave two thumbs up for the living room couch and loveseat (fall-asleep comfortable). The neighborhood is quiet, and we enjoyed reading in the back yard while sitting in Lana's lawn chairs. Our whole experience in Luray was happy and relaxing, thanks to Lana and Eddie's kindness and hospitality. We highly recommend this property to couples looking for a place to rest and recharge. The house was clean but plain and old fashioned. It served fine for my needs on the trip; a base for three friends going to hike Old Rag mountain, but the upstairs bedroom had low door heights (I banged my head several times) and the upstairs was very hot in the late afternoon and early evening. The kitchen (including cookware, plates and silverware) was very simple and was not conducive for enjoyable cooking/dining. I would not recommend the property for a family with kids nor a couple wanting a romantic getaway.

This house was a great home base for a few days exploring Shenandoah and the surrounding area. Was very impressed by how clean the home was, and found it to be well stocked with the basics to cook and relax after a day of adventure. Would recommend!!

Your cottage is charming, comfortable and clean! Luray is a welcoming community and has a lot to offer. We loved our stay and the opportunity to hike in SNP, experience new restaurants, run on the Hawksbill Greenway path, and take in a movie at a historic theatre. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Our family spent New Year's in Luray. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay; Dana was a great host. The house is in a central location, a short drive to the Luray caverns and within walking distance to the town center and a nice trail. Dana was very responsive to all my questions.
Definitely recommend staying here if you're thinking about a visit to this scenic spot.

Very convenient location for the cute town of Luray, the Caverns and the Skyline Drive. A little road noise from the street during the day. The beds were very comfortable. Can't think of anything we needed that the house didn't have. Fall decorations a nice touch.

We had a wonderful stay! After a long day of hiking, it was wonderful to come "home" to hot showers and comfy beds. The house had everything we needed - and then some! It is conveniently located near the Thorton Gap entrance of Shenandoah National Park (about 15 minutes), and it is within walking distance of several food options. The kitchen is also stocked with plenty of cooking utensils if you want to cook dinner in. It was truly like being at home on vacation! We will definitely come again! This property was comfortable and clean. It had everything we needed. The bedrooms were nice and the beds were comfortable. The bath towels were soft and plush. The location of the house was close the all the things we wanted to do during our stay. It was just right for our needs.
