Close to airport, clean. Newer facility.

I chose ***specifically*** for the airport shuttle. I was arriving at 10 pm and had to depart at 5:20 for a morning flight. I did not want the hassle of more time spent on rental car return for such a short night, so I chose a hotel location close to the airport and with a shuttle, and returned the car to the airport before I checked in. The hotel was apparently understaffed on my arrival night and I had to call back three times, each with being asked to hold. I gave them 5 minutes, and called back until on the third call got a person who could dispatch the shuttle. So about 20 minutes to get a person on the line without being asked to hold. The hotel is 5 minutes from the airport and several of the taxis lined up that night refused my business. I realize its a courtesy shuttle, however sometimes a guest chooses your property because of that and while the staff was excellent, this was an unfortunate situation.

Everything about this hotel was a positive experience: 1) location is super convenient, as it is 5 minutes from the airport and 10 minutes from downtown San Diego. They provide a free shuttle (available upon request at anytime!). 2) the staff was courteous and prompt to accomodate any requests. 3) included breakfast was good and menu varied from day to day. 4) hotel is close to Liberty station which is a neighborhood with a variety of restaurants, cafes and markets. 5 stars!

The shuttle needs to run before 5am. There is a taxi, and technically you can walk. But staying there for an early flight isn't ideal when the shuttles aren't operating...

I really didn't like the hidden fees and charges. Like parking. I am not accustomed to paying for parking when there is a spacious parking lot at a Hampton Inn or similar. Usually parking is included. But there were also enough unexplained fees that it cost me 25-30% more than I expected after reserving the room at Booking.com.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Standard breakfast included kept stocked with all menu items.

Close to airport, but cab ride to get anywhere (waterfront, Old Town).

I especially appreciated the ease of transportation to the airport. The bed was comfortable. The room was quiet.

The hotel was surprising! The first thing my husband said was: the bathroom is beautiful. In fact, everything was surprisingly beautiful. The King bed was GIGANTIC and super comfy. We only stayed there for one night, but it was one of the best nights we had in a 20 days trip.

To be honest, we were so surprised by the quality of the place, food, staff service and we can't even think of any bad points about it.

I thought that the size of the room was great. then I found out they gave us the handicap accessible room because we noticed the plastic shower bench and how big the bathroom was. I lied that the room was close to the elevators. The location being close to the airport because we had an early morning flight.

I didn't like the fact that we had to pay for parking. During the middle of ur stay our AC broke and the maintenance spent almost two hours fixing our AC while we were in the room. Ir didn't help that we just came back from spending six hours at my grandma's funeral to come back to a broken AC unit. The inconvenience of it just irritated me. Some of the breakfast items took quite a while to refill. Otherwise the items to choose from were about average. I'd expect a whole lot more for $250/night. I mean we charge that for some of our hotel rooms in Hawaii.

Confortable bed and very nice bathroom.

No microwave in room. Bought a frozen dinner item out of the front desk commisory, went up to my room to find out no microwave. Had to come back down to front desk to microwave my food!

The room provided a lot of space compared to other hotels near by. Beds were so comfortable and the room was super clean. Staff was super attentive to my family’s needs. Breakfast was a plus and delicious.

The bedroom door is TOO HEAVY for seniors to push open. Cannot plug the coffee pot in the room into the outlet.
