I will start off by saying our stay at Waypoint exceeded our expectations. Our first visit to Newport. The host was very accommodating. Linda provided details of the house, its location and things to do. She was very interactive and answered all our questions. The House was as advertised and better. It was well appointed, felt like a home and not a rental property. It was very clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed to enjoy our stay and well stocked with provisions. thank you very much. Waypoint's location was perfect. In a quiet neighborhood, but close (walking distance to all the activities of Newport). Plenty of shops and restaurants. The patio was a nice surprise. A great place for coffee in the morning and drinks after dinner. thank you for the use of the house and your hospitality. Would return again.

We loved staying at Waypoint. Linda was an excellent and thoughtful host and promptly answered any questions we had. The house is perfectly located for a trip to Newport and is within walking distance of a lot of restaurants, shops and bars. We would absolutely stay here again!

We were a family of 5 with 2 plus ones who were in Newport for our son’s wedding. The house comfortably accommodated us with bedrooms, bathrooms, inside & outside seating areas, parking spaces, and an in town location. The home was stocked with everything one needed. Linda could not of been more accommodative!

This was our first trip to Newport. We were looking for a walkable location. This was perfect. We were close to restaurants, shops and museums. The house was well equipped, clean and the decor was beautiful. Linda was a wonderful host and provided lovely amenities upon our arrival! She was very welcoming and offered advice on area restaurants, sights and shopping. A wonderful trip!

While in town for a wedding at The Bohlin, Wayport was convenient to all scheduled and downtime activities - coffee shops, bars, restaurants...
The house and yard were immaculate and well-stocked. The owner was extremely responsive to inquiries, easing the process.
We will stay there again when in town.

Our stay was excellent! The house is very welcoming and comfortable and contained everything we needed for a long weekend stay. The extra amenities are a very welcome touch when coming from further away. The host ( Linda) was very accommodating and very quick to respond to questions. We would definitely recommend staying here!

Home was great. Owner was amazing to deal with. Very nice touches like some basics in the fridge when we arrived. Very pretty, simple and cozy. A perfect family rental.

Even before check in, Linda was so kind and informative!! The house is absolutely beautiful and cozy. The backyard fire pit was fun for late nights in. Linda was such a gracious host and made the entire stay so pleasurable! 10/10 would recommend and would stay again in a heartbeat :)

The house was wonderful for a weekend with girlfriends! Great location just off Thames, with parking and walkable to restaurants, shops and boat excursions.

Linda’s home was the perfect place for a Newport weekend. 4 bedrooms perfect for couples, an amazing outdoor space for grilling and relaxing, and an amazing location! Charming gem in the heart of Newport
My husband and I stayed in this perfectly charming home for a long weekend with our daughter, son-in-law, and our one year old granddaughter, and their nanny. It was perfect and beautifully appointed and clean and we had plenty of space and privacy. The location was quiet, but extremely convenient to town; an easy and enjoyable ten minute walk to Bowen's wharf with lots of fun shops and restaurants in between. We explored it all and had a great time. We are so lucky to have found this home and would highly recommend. Linda was great and just a phone call away.

Perfect house and host

What a relief to check in at your beautiful home after a long day of travel. We felt so welcomed; the snacks and drinks were a godsend. The house was immaculate and well stocked with everything we could need. We loved the back courtyard area.
We rated the whole experience a 10+. Thank you for keeping in touch with us. Oh, we were also thrilled with the location, we were able to walk just about every where. I hope we will have the chance to visit again!

Beautiful home in perfect location
Would highly recommend! The house is beautiful and nicely decorated. They had everything we possibly needed: towels, extra toothbrushes, phone chargers, olive oil, spices, etc. The house is in the perfect location, walking distance to all the restaurants, shops and bars. Like being at home!
What a wonderful home! So clean and organized - and ALL the amenities you can think of - including chargers next to both sides of the bed! Loved having the washer/dryer available - and Linda was easy to contact and responded immediately! Also, she opened early for us because we had a very early flight and we were meeting people for lunch and needed to clean up a bit. We had a wonderful stay and cannot wait to return! Perfect Location amazing home!
Linda's home is beautiful and has everything you need, from a fully stocked kitchen to towels for the beach and beyond. The backyard space with the fireplace was the perfect place to start and end each day. The location cannot be beat we walked to and from every activity and meal. Absolutely Amazing!
What an absolutely beautiful home! Perfect location. The house is extremely clean, comfortable, & inviting. When I tell you it has everything - IT HAS EVERYTHING. Extra toothbrushes, kcups, phone chargers in every room, etc etc etc. Linda is a kind & gracious host who is more than helpful. She helped us find extra parking, locate a transportation company (for the vineyards) & gave us great recommendations for top places around town. Highly, highly recommend his home. Newport Trip
We had a great week in Newport and this property added to our enjoyment. It is perfectly located, comfortable and soooo chill. Linda is an amazing owner/host and is extremely thorough. She met us for check in and walked us through the house and gave us all the highlights for the area (restaurants, beaches, shopping, attractions...etc.). She had literally thought of everything and the house was set up perfectly. She has great attention for detail and the house had everything we needed for our week. We had a great week and definitely recommend this property and Linda for another stay.

Magical
We loved the property and the beautiful, white, beach house. My girls as soon as they got into the house, said they loved it and we should buy it (Linda watch out :)). Linda, was so super accommodating, informative and left us some wonderful snacks (family’s favorite? Peanut butter cups!). The house is in the center of everything. Wherever we wanted to go it was between .5 to 1 mile. We loved the walking distance to everything and we did walk a lot! Amazing house, amazing hostess. Cannot wait to come back!

End of summer escape
Every aspect of this stay met or exceeded expectations. The location of the house within Newport is ideal. My wife and I really enjoyed the backyard outdoor space, after the kids went to bed. The owner has really thought of everything and was incredibly responsive before and during the stay! The house was immaculate, which is a quote from my wife, who has some pretty high standards. We would definitely go back!

Great House, Great Owner, Highly Recommend
There is not enough space for me to write how wonderful our experience was with our stay. The owner was bright, friendly, knowledgable, courteous and designed a wonderful home. She absolutely cared about making our stay comfortable and memorable. Her special touches (cell phone chargers in every room, snacks and cold drinks ready for us, beautiful season décor, and restaurant suggestions) were amazing and show how much she cares about her unit and renters. The unit was very clean, easy to find, in an excellent location and included parking for my large suburban and a truck. We were walking distance to many restaurants, shopping and local attractions. I highly recommend this location to anyone wanting to visit Newport, RI and I look forward to coming back again in the future.
