Niché en privé dans les bois, mais à moins d'un mile des restaurants, des boutiques et du seul port de plaisance du centre-ville de Bailey's Harbor sur le lac Michigan. Attn. pêcheurs, notre allée peut gérer votre remorque de bateau. Également à proximité du lac Kangourou, B. Portez des plages confortables et un parc de loisirs de 30 acres qui comprend une aire de jeux pour enfants, des fers à cheval, un jeu de boules de pétanque, un baseball, etc., juste en bas de la route (nous fournissons des jeux de fer à cheval et de pétanque, dans un porche d'écran, à emmener au parc).
Des vacances en famille, des retrouvailles entre amis ou de petits retraites hommes ou femmes, ne sont que quelques utilisations possibles de ce lieu très privé, calme et paisible.
La grande chambre dispose de 2 canapés-lits, 1 niché derrière un mur en vitrail (un autre coin parfait pour lire ou simplement pour s'éloigner de la foule) et l'autre dans le coin salon principal. Beaux planchers de noyer, cuisinière à gaz confortable et ventilateurs de plafond partout. Design rustique spacieux, 1 chambre principale, lit queen, w / portes françaises pour l'intimité, deux pleins, 1 lit superposé dans le loft (voir ci-dessous).
Le grand loft ouvert a beaucoup d'espace pour la tête et un espace au sol supplémentaire qui donne sur la grande pièce à deux étages ci-dessous. Comprend un ciel léger, deux lits doubles, un beau lit superposé personnalisé et une demi-baignoire. En outre, un coin confortable avec une causeuse en cuir et un lampadaire ... parfait pour lire!
Salle de bain complète au bout du couloir qui dispose d'une grande et luxueuse cabine de douche à 2 têtes avec porte en verre et banquette intégrée - profitez-en!
WiFi, télévision satellite HD à écran plat de 42 pouces, avec lecteur DVD pour des heures de divertissement en famille / entre amis.
Toutes les commodités modernes avec cuisine entièrement équipée également (HE) laveuse / sécheuse, w détergent à lessive.
Pour votre plaisir en plein air, la maison dispose également d'une véranda meublée avec moustiquaire (sans bug!) adjacent à un grand pont avant meublé spacieux et un pont latéral avec de beaux sièges et tables personnalisés; offrant un espace de vie supplémentaire pendant les mois les plus chauds pour simplement profiter du soleil ou profiter de l'air frais de la nuit, également pour votre plaisir en plein air est un barbecue au charbon de bois de style parc hors du pont latéral.
Terminez votre soirée en prenant un feu de bois méditatif avec la famille et les amis en utilisant notre foyer au bois extérieur attaché au patio pour une combustion en toute sécurité.

The most beautiful, immaculate, well furnished, relaxing VRBO we've had to date. Rick was so helpful with everything and we wanted for nothing in their beautiful home. It was the perfect vacation to get away and reconnect as a family. Can't say enough about this place. I'm HOPING we can get back next year again. SO MUCH FUN!!!!

Very clean home. Layout of home is open has several perks, deck, screen porch, patio for outdoor living and park just a short distance from the home. It is conveniently located, easy to get to the rest of peninsula.

Our stay was incredibly relaxing. The property is like something out of a movie. Being surrounded by all the pine trees was incredibly tranquil. Lots to explore. Especially being right next to kangaroo lake. The inside of the cabin was very relaxing as well. We loved the open floor plan and the rustic yet modern aesthetic. I vacationed with my husband, brother-in-law, and sister-in-law. And there was more than enough room for us. Rick was very nice and commutative. He even suggested a few places to visit and things to do. We had everything we needed in the vrbo. The only thing ill mention that "may" be important for other guests is that there is no streaming services on the TV. Which was no big deal for us. We brought our laptop and HDMI cable to connect to the TV. So we were able to watch our favorite shows on Hulu/Netflix no problem. Wifi was fantastic! All in all, we truly enjoyed this property and would definitely stay again. Highly recommend! Thanks again Rick!

My wife and I recently stayed at Peace in the Pines for 11 nights. It was so private and peaceful yet conveniently located on the Door County peninsula. We truly loved this place!
The cabin was very spacious for the two of us. The property is tucked back away from the road in a very nice grove of pine trees. The cabin was very clean and the furnishings were quality. We really can't think of anything negative about this place. Really looking forward to staying here again.

This rental was exactly what we needed. It is perfect for a couple, or small family. Very clean and so quite we could hear the pines whispering. If you need a retreat from busyness, this is the perfect spot. It's also within easy driving distance of all Door County has to offer.
The owner was great, he called before we went to answer any questions we had.

Very nice! Secluded but close to town. Lots of windows to watch the wildlife. Loved the reading nook!! Great shower. Not many options on the TV so suggest bringing some DVDs.

We biked to breakfast every day at Heirloom Cafe or Bearded Heart. Close to the Door County Brewing Co and Stones Throw Winery. Easy access over to Egg Harbor or Sister Bay. Very clean. Really nice furniture and everything you could need. The shower was amazing and the property is quiet and beautifully nestled in a clean forest. WiFi signal was strong. We were visited by a family of turkeys every day. 100% recommend this rental, I only wish there were a cancelation refund-I’d book again for our next anniversary but you never know what will happen so I don’t like booking this early. Awesome cabin!!

We had an amazing time at Ricks home in baileys harbor! Rick went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful time. He gave excellent hiking suggestions and his home was fully equipped with everything necessary to have a relaxing vacation. I highly recommend staying here and my family and I will certainly be back

Great private location minutes away from downtown Baileys Harbor
The property was clean and had everything we needed. There are wonder outdoor spaces to enjoy the beautiful scenery and wildlife including deer, turkeys, and birds. Also, it’s quick 15 minute drive to other nearby towns including Sister Bay, Fish Creek, and Egg Harbor. The property was very comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to return.

Lovely Door County retreat
From Rick’s timely and helpful communications to the immaculately clean cabin, this retreat was even better than we expected. The location is quiet and peaceful but still an easy drive to all activities. We hope to come back!

Exactly the kind of cabin in the woods getaway we were looking for - a clean, well-appointed property with all the conveniences of home, nestled in a grove of pine trees all around, next door neighbors not visible at all! Rick was very accommodating, reasonable and proactively helpful! We’ll be back!

Wonderful, wonderful experience
Wonderfully easy, peaceful, enjoyable experience. Rick is a phenomenal host - checking in an appropriate amount with tips and tricks and to make sure you made it safe. Very clear instructions and how to. Place was impeccably clean. For us, a perfect spot in the middle of anywhere you want to go- not too far north, south, etc. our kids had an amazing time playing In the woods in a fort some family must have started and they added to. Great amount of space. Comfortable sleeping arrangements and great amount of supplies. Already considering a return trip next year. It’s the first time I’ve ever went somewhere and didn’t want to come home. Thanks again Rick!

Perfect in Every Way
This was by far the best and most relaxing stay we have ever had in Door County! We have been going there for almost 40 years and have never stayed in Bailey’s Harbor. It was so nice to be away from all the congestion but close enough to get there in no time. The house was beautiful, clean and so comfortable. Rick is an unbelievable host. He gave us some new ideas where to hike and eat. Couldn’t have been more helpful. Great restaurants right in Bailey’s Harbor. We will definitely be back:)

The house is beautiful and cozy. The setting is private yet close to everything. The owner is accessible and responsive. It was our second visit and we have recommended to others and hope to return again soon.

Well appointed cabin, private, clean.
We had a great stay in Door County. The cabin is large and spacious. Loved the shower! Enjoyed coffee in the deck in the morning. Just a couple issues during the stay. The internet was not working Rick was quick to respond and we had to spend time on the phone with the IT person of the internet company but got it working. We needed email access for my daughter who is a veterinarian and she was consulting with owners/clients while on vacation. Also it was quite hot during our stay. The air conditioner could not be controlled manually. The thermostat was inside a locked box. Those of us staying upstairs in the loft were a bit uncomfortable several nights. The ceiling fans are not situated over the beds therefore no relief even under the fans. Again we contacted Rick and he stated he would address the issue. He said he lowered the temp but it never moved. Thankful the last 2 days were cooler and we slept better. Otherwise very nice place.

Peace in the Pines
I rented this cabin for my uncle, aunt, and parents; they loved it. They spent a week from late December until early January and welcomed the new year in peace among the trees in the cozy cabin.
Rick was accommodating and answered every question. He can be reached quite easily by phone or email if any questions or issues arise. I would recommend this to anyone and would definitely stay again.

Comfortable, cozy and so very relaxing!! Peaceful, great place to recharge, GREAT experience!! The owner of this rental property was a pleasure to rent from! Rick paid attention to detail when he handcrafted this home. Such a comfortable bed and OH that gorgeous shower! The beautiful woodwork is evident throughout this retreat. Truly a labor of love when he built this beautiful cabin/retreat/escape. The kitchen fabulous, everything you might need is readily available. A very cozy fireplace! . We loved our peaceful experience! I would recommend this for any family, girls weekend or anyone needing a relaxing get-away! Great location too! Our thanks to Rick and Audrey for once again, a great escape from the grinding pressures of life! We'll definitely rent again!!
