We found it to be very clean and inviting. The only thing that made it a little challenging is that we were on the second floor. But I should have mentioned that if possible to get a room on the first floor. Otherwise we really enjoyed staying there. Look forward to staying there again. I would also recommend it to friends and family.

There really wasn’t anything that I didn’t like about the property. I never saw the motel from the street before in all the years we’ve been coming up to Door. Maybe a little larger sign to catch your attention would be good.

Booking was easy. Staff were helpful. Rooms clean. Morning breakfast decent.

Very noisy outside the rooms. Guests coming in late for the night were loud and disruptive during sleeping hours. This occurred several times during the night. Pillows on the bed were overstuffed and large. Very uncomfortable for sleeping. Better descriptions on the website. For the price and what we saw online, we thought the room would have a jacuzzi tub. We were disappointed the room didn’t even have a tub but a walk in shower. Just disappointed in the value we paid for the price. We wouldn’t book here again nor would we recommend it either.

Their breakfasts were awesome! They had fresh, homemade pastries which were delicious.

I'm a writer and a reader, so I was surprised and pleased to find A Little Free Library station on the motel grounds. The location is close to several places I frequent in Door County. The continental breakfast was a treat.

My room was on the upper level, which I didn't realize when I first made my reservation. I am 81 years old and have arthritis, so it was harder for me to have to carry luggage and other items up and down two sections of stairway. If possible, it would be nice to have some kind of ramp to use, instead of just stairs. If I stay there again I have to ask for a room on the lower level of the motel. Also, the beverage machine was out of most items and didn't work well.
