This house is perfect!! Clean, spacious and equipped with anything you need!! Loved that water was shallow and sandy for the kids to play!! Back porch was perfect at night!! Owners were great to work with!! We just got back and already booked for next summer!!

My friends and I came for a fun girls reunion and it was so fun! Gorgeous property and so relaxing!

The property was immaculate and in a gorgeous yet private area, close to town. Whatever the season or your occasion, we highly recommend. The owners were prompt with any questions or requests and allowed us to check in early on arrival to be able to get in an extra day of snowmobiling.

We rented this house for our Old Forge snowmobile trip this year and the house was spectacular. Rick was very accommodating and we lucked out and had great snow conditions.

This house was beautiful, spotless, cozy, wonderful....and close to the trails, downtown, everything! The only thing missing was a fireplace. Great house, would definitely recommend highly!!

Perfect we can be back

I am so impressed with this property and the owners I don't know where to begin. The house is spotless, the design & layout are perfect and of course the view is to die for! We went on an all ladies family wknd trip and lets just say we were all so relaxed we didn't care about wearing makeup, bras or getting out of our sweats lol!! Will be booking every year!!

This is our second year staying at this wonderful house. Everything our family (ages 10 months to 61) requires for a perfect stay. The kitchen is fully equipped with any appliance & kitchen tool you may need, when preparing a meal. The two porches are ideal for sitting outside having a cup of coffee in the morning, and a nice glass of wine in the evening. The list of amenities makes this home ideal for a short visit or a longer stay. So thankful for this gem!

My family and I loved this spot, it was perfect for the grandkids to play in the shallow water and great for docking our boat and taking it out on the lakes. Very close too town and all the shops. Great view in the morning to have our coffee on the outside deck, just Beautiful!!!

This is our fourth year staying and we are never disappointed. Each year we’ve been able to learn and do more in the ADK and just love our week at Northern Oasis. Thanks so much!

Outstanding ; 2nd the me staying there

This was the second time we stayed at the Northern Oasis Lodge. This cabin, on the First Lake inlet in Old Forge, was perfect for us. It was clean, well maintained and had plenty of room of our party of six adults to spread out. The bedrooms were a nice size, the bathrooms were clean and the kitchen was large enough to seat 10 and had everything we needed to prepare our meals at home. The large waterfront dock was perfect for sitting out during the day, the fire pit provides some nice nights to make s’mores and the kayaks were fun to paddle around the inlet and Old Forge Pond. We were able to dock our Pontoon boat at the dock the entire week. Rick, the owner, is a pleasure to deal with. He is quick to answer any questions and will promptly take care of any issue you may have. We are already planning out third visit to Old Forge and another great vacation at this fantastic cabin!

House was just as pictured. Very clean! Plenty of space for a large group to eat and relax plus bedrooms are laid out nicely so there’s enough privacy as well. Bed linens are included but not towels. We came up to snowmobile but I bet it’s beautiful in the summer!

We loved the location and the cabin was clean (except for dirty sock and trash under a bed) and nice open floor , but thin blankets on beds, mattresses could be a bit nicer and not an extra blanket in the house. Also wasn’t aware we needed to bring our own towels but maybe that was our fault?. I guess for the money expected just a little bit more comfort wise. It is a beautiful cabin and great spot to get to snowmobile trails.

This was our second time, and it was even better than we remembered! It’s everything the kids want and the adults need. Big bonus was hearing and seeing some Loons this year. New fridge was a great surprise and the neighbors are truly lovely. Thank you so much!

The house delivers! - it is every bit as nice as the photos portray. Our family found it to be very clean and pleasantly decorated. The bedrooms are spacious and suited our family well, with room for grandkids (= “GCn” below) to sleep in “nests” (inflatable beds; the usual for us) on a bedroom floor conveniently, and having 2 bathrooms directly off bedrooms lessened “mid-night wanderings”. The house appears to be relatively newly constructed, with quality materials and is well-sealed against “critter”entry. The refrigerator had capacity to hold our advance-made meals. The large lot is quite level, with space for our 5 vehicles and 2 boat trailers. At night, even during the day, the neighborhood was quiet. We brought and used fans to augment nice cross-breezes. Plates and bowls were plentiful. Seating for meals and TV watching was convenient and comfortable. The back porch table and other furniture got lots of use, day and evening. Docking our 2 boats was secure and convenient. Other boaters in the “narrows” consistently held to “no wake” speeds. Steps down from the dock into the water made it easy for our CGn to wade safely. The bottom is silty, rather than sandy, but not mucky. It deepens quite gradually, so GCn could wade out a bit, yet it is deep enough for the draft of 14-20 ft boats. The recommendation we received shortly before our week that we should bring bottled water (in place of trusting the well water potability) did complicate our enjoyment somewhat, but we had no discomfort. Do consider making time during your stay to go to the Enchanted Forest Water Safari in Old Forge – it was a blast!
