Situé directement sur un lac mais dans un cadre champêtre, il est à seulement 10 minutes du centre-ville de Madison au Wisconsin, à 20 minutes de l'aéroport et à 2 heures de l'aéroport O'Hare de Chicago. Le lac Waubesa est l'un des quatre lacs de Madison, connu comme le meilleur lac de pêche. Barbecue et se détendre sur le pont tout en étant isolé du vent! Profitez des levers du matin fabuleux sur le lac.
La cabane en rondins est située sur le lac. Un ranch de niveau a 2 chambres et une salle de bain complète. Une chambre a un lit queen. La 2ème chambre a un lit superposé avec un lit complet et un lit double sur le dessus. Il y a un grand salon avec vue sur le lac. Profitez de manger à la table tout en regardant le lac. Tout ce dont vous aurez besoin pour compléter votre séjour est fourni, des draps, serviettes, une laveuse et une sécheuse et des condiments dans le garde-manger.
Nous avons une cuisine qui est entièrement équipée avec des ustensiles de cuisine et de service pouvant accueillir jusqu'à huit personnes ainsi que de nouveaux appareils. Beaucoup de casseroles et poêles, lave-vaisselle, micro-ondes, cafetière et grille-pain pour rendre facile à manger.
Il y a un climatiseur de fenêtre et de nombreux ventilateurs de plafond pour l'été et si vous restez en hiver, nous avons de la chaleur partout.
Le lancement de bateau est à 2 minutes. Pour nos clients, nous avons canoë. Nous venons d’ajouter une jetée en bois rustique de 65 pieds à la disposition de nos clients (elle sera dans l’eau de juin à août). La plupart des gens marchent juste au bord du lac pour nager. Le fond du lac est rocheux et / ou sablonneux.
Venir dans un jeu UW? Voulez-vous rester sur le lac dans une cabine au lieu d'un hôtel? Nous sommes à 12 minutes en voiture du campus. Venir pour IronMan Wisconsin? Nous sommes un vélo de 5 mile au départ. Restez dans le confort d'une maison par rapport à un hôtel.

Exactly what I needed. Thoroughly enjoyed the coziness of this cabin, love that it’s on the corner on a quiet street and the water is right there. Neighbors are super friendly. Nichole was a joy to communicate with whenever I needed anything. Would recommend this place for sure and look forward to staying again.

I Loved my stay!
I paddle boarded almost every day. I loved drinking coffee on the pier to the beautiful sunrises. It is a very quiet and peaceful setting with everything you need. I stayed for a month and was sad when it was time to leave.

Wonderful Cabin Getaway!
I went to college at UW-Madison and was looking for a place close enough to drive to town, but far out enough in the country to feel like I really got away from home. This place was perfect- plenty of supplies for cooking, easy to get to town when we wanted to go out, and a really cozy layout. Plus, Nicole is a terrific hostess. Wonderful place, and would definitely stay there again!

Great stay by the lake!
Everything you could want in a vacation rental. Indoors we're comfortable, with all the necessary ammenities (kitchen appliances, ac, w/d, wifi all in good working order), but outdoors really shined. Nice deck with table and chairs for outdoor eating. Canoe, paddle boards, and life jackets for easy water access. Fire pit and marshmallow skewers. A great package all around!

Humble home in a great location
My family of four (with 2 small kids) had a great time at this house. Just right for such a size group. Bedrooms are a little small, but we used them just for sleep. The house is humble but comfy, newer kitchen and outside area. It has all the normal amenities, but the outside is nicest with the lake front view - especially at sunrise. Location is rural, but just 10 minute drive into Madison and convenient to most activities there.

This adorable cabin was in a perfect location right on the water and we enjoyed the amazing sunrises every morning and the gorgeous lake view right out the back door. The house was just the right size for my family and met all of our needs. We would definitely come back!!! Thank you!

Great lake getaway~
In this summer of COVID we decided to take an extra week at a lake. We live about 30 minutes from the house and staying here allowed our kids to still go do their athletic activities while we enjoyed the lake. The house is very close to Madison and as many activities as you could want. The lake was warm and fun to play in. We really enjoyed being able to use the paddleboards at the house, playing games in the backyard, and sitting on the huge deck overlooking the lake! Great week.

Perfection!
We were extremely satisfied with our stay! Nicole was a dream to work with and answered all of our questions and checked in with us while we were there! We made several of our meals and the kitchen was very well stocked with everything we could need! I had forgotten to pack coffee and I was excited to see it in the cupboard in the morning! The view of the lake is spectacular and you can’t get much closer than the backyard! We will definitely stay here again if we’re in the area!

Great place to stay
We stayed here over Christmas to visit family. Everything was great, clean, and the location is beautiful. (Don't miss the little restaurant/bar at the end of the street and definitely order the grilled walleye sandwich....may be the best fish this Florida native has ever had) It's an older house, and the bedrooms are tiny...like, the bed takes up the entire room, tiny, with maybe 18" to 2' on either side to walk around it...but it was perfect for us and we enjoyed it. The cabin is stocked with almost anything you could consider needing and we added some things ourselves for future tenants. The Queen bed is comfortable and the blankets and sheets are very good. We had a little problem with the batteries being dead on the door locks but a quick battery change fixed that. The only other downside was that I specifically looked for a cabin with a fireplace for Christmas, thinking we'd enjoy a cosy fire but the rules state you're not allowed to use it. So that was depressing but understandable and probably due to an insurance thing. This is a great place in winter, and I'm sure summer is even better.

Peaceful getaway
Listing was just as posted and Nicole was very prompt to respond. We enjoyed morning walks and the sunrise, as well as watching the fishing boats and ducks go by. The fire pit was also a nice additive. Kitchen had all the supplies you need. We will be back again.

Terrific weekend getaway
This was exactly what we were looking for. Very lovely and relaxing to be right on the water, and the house was clean and welcoming. The host was very responsive and responded to my texts within 5 minutes. I would definitely stay there again.

Great for football weekend
Came down for the UW game. Easy Uber rides into town. Very peaceful place to hang out and relax before the game. Utilized the lake for paddle boarding and swimming.

Awesome view! Love the lake view bar! Great kitchen... Well stocked! main bedroom bed was very comfy! Only real Issue was comfort of bunk bed mattresses for adults..

We had a wonderful stay at this cottage! The kitchen was well stocked, the beds were comfortable and the living room area was spacious. While we were not able to access the lake due to time of the year, it was lovely to look out at the lake during the day and to see the beautiful sunrises in the morning. It was fun to sit at the long bar facing the lake to have lunch and watch the birds. My family very much enjoyed our stay!
