This casita sits on a large, working vineyard, complete with softly bleating farm animals. It is remote, peaceful and the surroundings are breathtaking. Inside is a fully stocked kitchen (with oven, micro, fridge) and bath, separate bedroom and living area, all nicely appointed and reliable. The casita was clean with the heater running when we arrived. The binoculars were a nice touch as there are birds to see in every direction. A complementary bottle of estate cab was so good we ordered 2 more bottles. Thai and Cynthia could not have been more gracious or accommodating. We will be back for more of this special place!

We stayed in Carla’s casita and adored it! The property itself is just breath taking. We saw wildlife daily and loved the resident sheep and goats. The house was so nice and perfect for what we needed!

We had an excellent getaway with our dog. This is a nice casita on an expansive property. The host pointed us to a Safeway and a Nepali restaurant, which were both adequate and convenient. We might return to the placid casita and the serenity it offers.

This was our second stay at Steelhead Creek Vineyards and it’s just as magical and perfect as we remember. We wanted to share the beauty we experienced on our first stay in the large casita with some friends, so we reserved the Garden Casita this trip while they stayed in the large casita. From the drive up the mountain, to meeting Beau and Bella (the vineyard dogs), Thai delivering fresh eggs for us to enjoy and the mornings spent on the backyard patios with the amazing views, we loved every minute of our time on the property. The garden casita is nestled in a mountainside to provide seclusion and privacy and is well appointed with anything you might need for a comfortable stay. I love a good robe and buttery sheets on a bed and both are provided. Kitchen amenities are well thought out for the small casita and the living space provided a nice area to relax while enjoying the view from the slider door overlooking the mountainside. The location provides easy access to the Napa, Sonoma and Russian River area of the wine country. This is absolutely a little piece of Heaven and one of my most favorite places to stay.

My husband and I stayed 6 nights in Carla's Casita inside the Steelhead Creek Vineyards, and we were not disappointed. The Casita had everything you needed, was clean, and the bed was nice and comfortable. The views were gorgeous and serene. Thai was amazing. We got caught in a very unexpected snowstorm one night and couldn't make it up the winding hills/trail back to our Casita. Thai, without a heartbeat, came to rescue us when we called him. We ended up abandoning our car on the trail that night. Thai came back the next day to help us retrieve our car. I don't know what we would have done if not for Thai. This will definately be a memorable trip for us and one to talk about for a long time. Thank you Thai and Cindy for your hospitality! We can't wait to visit another one of your properties again.

We loved this charming casita tucked away in the hills of a beautiful Santa Rosa vineyard. It’s the perfect escape to peace and quiet, starry nights and gorgeous landscapes. Our host, Thai, was especially welcoming, easily reachable, and greeted us upon arrival. We also enjoyed an amazing bottle of wine and farm fresh eggs from the property. We had absolutely everything we needed for a cozy & comfortable stay! Highly recommend and can’t wait to return one day.

The casita and property were beyond beautiful. Every morning we woke up to birds flitting around the garden and breath taking views. The location is perfect; easy to explore both Sonoma and Napa valley regions. Thai was kind and generous as a host. We were sad to leave!!

The location worked perfectly for us attending a friend’s wedding. It was a tad more remote than we had expected, but this offered a level of tranquility that was a bonus. Located several minutes off the public roadway, you pass through a couple remote controlled gates to enter the property. The mornings and evening here are amazing, with song birds, rabbits and squirrels all around. Given the location, we’d recommend bringing in some snacks if your plan is to eat out, as it takes a bit to come and go. This property is in an area that burned over a few years back, so some of the hillsides were blackened. However, new vegetation is popping up everywhere, and there are some really nice views. The hosts were very nice, accommodating and remained invisible outside of our greet on the road when we arrived - it was a very private stay. If travels take us back to the area, we’ll stay again.

We couldn’t have imagined a more beautiful base for our wine country vacation. The casita had everything we needed and the remote setting was exquisitely beautiful and serene. A perfect retreat for two!

The Sonoma farm was perfect. Every detail was meticulously taken care of on the property. The casita was beautifully decorated on the inside and out. The views were outstanding and we just kept switching sitting areas outside to take it all in. The hosts do a great job of making you feel welcome and take great pride in their property. It shows, stay here and you’ll be glad you did.

Great getaway in a peaceful setting. The property has a huge view west to the coast which proximity makes for cool evenings and brisk morning walks. The owners were very responsive and manage a beautiful property

Very quiet and secluded - no washer and dryer but we worked around it s d everything else is perfect. Very comfortable furniture and linens - pretty far off the main road but we’re really enjoying the seclusion. Absolutely recommend.

Carla’s casita was just perfect for our 3 days. We enjoyed the peaceful environment away from town but close enough to explore everything that we wanted. Thai was a great host!

Thai and Cynthia are wonderful and experienced VRBO hosts making it easy to get the most of our time staying in the Sonoma Valley. The accommodations we clean and recently refurbished. The views around the property were magnificent amongst the rolling hills straddling the Napa and Sonoma Valleys.

We really enjoyed our stay at Thai and Cynthia’s over New Year’s. Carla’s Casita was the perfect space with everything you’d need, and we enjoyed walking our dog on their property and seeing the amazing views at sunset. We will definitely be back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. It is so quiet and secluded, but at the same time not far from restaurants, etc. Thai was very helpful with suggestions on places to eat, wineries, etc and very easy to communicate with, highly recommend!

The entire process was seamless. Great communication with host, all information regarding location and checking in was great. Arrived and found our casita to be absolutely above and beyond our expectations. Love the views and the property was immaculate. We traveled with friends who stayed at the casita across the street, and couldn’t have been happier with it. Appreciate the attention to every detail from Thai and his wife. First off, this is an excellent location for visiting Sonoma and Napa Valley’s most prestigious wineries!We were both pleasantly surprised when our stay at the casita started out with a long beautiful drive back to the secure, private & tranquil beauty this place has to offer. We felt very welcome upon entering the warm decor of the “garden casita”. Thai and Cynthia have in place an excellent bottle of wine left for you to enjoy at your leisure. They are perfectly respectful of your privacy, but are there for your needs at a moment’s notice.Definitely check out the newly developed observation deck, with a glass of wine, and enjoy amazing views!The ambience of this vineyard/farm is truly an incredible opportunity and we left feeling very appreciative that there are folks out there who share and allow others to enjoy their treasure!We’ll Be Back Y’all!
