The weekend getaway was just what we needed. The house was comfortable and we loved the amenities, especially the hot tub, pool table, and fireplace.

My active adult sisters , brothers in law and I and my 91 year old mother enjoyed our stay in this beyond beautiful and comfortable home . A sweet trail down the road, xcountry skiing nearby, downhill at whiteface, great restaurants and so much to do even with. 2 days of rain. The best part was returning to such comfort at the end of the day. As usual the home is better in person than the posted pictures.

This was a wonderful experience staying here. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a weekend away. Very clean and all the amenities you could need. Will definitely book again.

This is a nice house - basement has lots of good stuff like two movie rooms, pool table, hot tub. Kitchen is nice and big and love the screened in eating porch. So close to Lake Placid but also close to hiking, etc.

Our week at Fawn Ridge Lodge was everything we needed & expected it to be. There was so much for our multi-generational group to do on site & within a few miles of the property. The entire family enjoyed the billiard & theatre rooms, the hot tub, & the fire pit. Our teens loved the bunk room! Some hiked, biked, & paddled. Others sought out eateries, museums & driving tours. The kitchen is well appointed & the dining room table easily seats 10. The layout of the house is such that depending on your mood you can gather in a group for conversation or find a cozy nook for some quiet time. Although the house is in a neighborhood, it is surrounded by woods. The only neighbors we saw were a doe & her fawn. A good time was had by all!

If you want a place that is within walking distance of downtown, this is not the place. However, the home is beautiful and it is a very short drive to the center of Lake Placid. The decor is classic Adirondack style. We loved the large table to gather and play games. The kitchen was stocked with everything that we needed. If anyone has any mobility issues, please note there are stairs to get in. There is a first level master bedroom with a walk in shower. Communication with the owner was fantastic! Questions were answered extremely fast. Our group enjoyed our weekend trip!

The house very nicely accommodates our annual gathering with the guys. Good access to downtown, the lake, outdoor activities and the ice arena. Alia and the property manager are accessible and communicative.

This was a great place to stay for our NCAA Championships. We had a great Kitchen and Dining room. Also multiple, lounge areas for Student Athletes to recover and have group meetings. We watched "Miracle" in the Theatre room. Excellent space with everything you could want. Thanks for a great stay

House was gorgeous and had everything we needed for a wonderful weekend away. It was nice to not have to bring bedding and towels! Plenty of space for our group of 9. There was something everyone and we didn't need to leave the house for the weekend except to get more firewood. The house was close to town but the area was very private. It would be a great place for a family get together in the summer. Hot tub was big and clean. Nice having a pool table and movie room in the basement.

This is our second visit to Fawn Ridge Lodge and we had another great family weekend! The home is comfortable and spacious with enough amenities to keep six adults and four active kids (ranging from 2 to 16) happy and entertained. The kitchen is awesome and we made a wonderful dinner at home followed by family games around the huge dining table. We highly recommend a family getaway to this beautiful home.

Fawn Ridge is a beautiful home. Nicely decorated for a cozy, yet elegant, feel. Lots of room to spread out. It’s close to town and a grocery store is just down the street but it is located in a lovely, quiet, wooded neighborhood. We hope to return next year with more family.

This home is tastefully decorated in every room with Adirondack themed decor and furniture. It’s warm, welcoming and comfortable while being elegant and classy at the same time! We enjoyed our stay and the property owner and caretaker were both attentive and had excellent communication with us.

This was the second year in a row my family came here for a small reunion and we hope to make this an annual trip for us!

This is our third time staying here!! The home is clean, beautifully decorated and located in a great location to town and mountains. We are hoping to come back in the winter for skiing!!

Our stay at this property was absolutely wonderful. It was clean and had everything we could hope for as guests. It’s a short drive to mirror lake (not walking distance). Overall it was a great stay and we will be back.

I wish I could give 10 stars for this review . The positives for Fawn Fridge are so many, it would take up an entire page to write about it all. The Adirondack decor here makes you feel like you’re walking around in one of the rustic furniture stores in the area. Absolutely beautiful!!! The kitchen is great with everything you could need if you like cooking in. The living room is gorgeous big and comfortable. The wrap around outdoor porch space is the best!!! So fun to hang out on and grill at the end of the day and so peaceful in the morning. Alia the host is thoughtful and kind and replied right away to messages. Check in was a breeze. Our family all agreed that Fawn Ridge is definitely the nicest house we’ve stayed at in LP. Thanks for sharing, Alia!😊

Our family had such a great time, we wish we could stay longer. The house was amazing, had everything and more. Prefect distance to downtown. Will definitely stay here our next trip to Lake Placid.

The house and accommodations were absolutely incredible. Would love to stay here again if we ever make it back to Lake Placid!

This cabin was beautifully decorated, fully equipped with anything we needed, and easy to communicate with the owner, Alia. Just minutes from downtown area but private enough to seem secluded. I would highly recommend this place to stay… you will not regret it!
