View of the Fjord outstanding, well- equipped kitchen, very clean

Excellent views of the fjords, close to great hiking trails, our host was very kind, generous, and available for questions and advice. The home is spacious, comfortable, and very well equipped for the needs of travelers and families. Easy access to a local supermarket in town with all the essentials. A great location overall!

Fantastic location, beautiful place with everything you could possibly want and a high spec finish throughout. Comfortable, clean and luxurious. Only wish we had more time in the property!

Very spacious, beautiful view, different seating areas (deck, sunroom, living room), very helpful hosts, short drive in to town, better appliances than we have at home! We loved staying at Frydenlund and Balestrand. If we return to this part of Norway again, we would have to stay at Frydenlund.

We were 4 adults and a baby. More than enough space for everyone. The cottage is very beautiful, well kept and full equiped with everything you need while traveling. The views are epic!

Awesome home with stunning view! The view was even better than in photos! Nice terrace and patio to enjoy the view both inside and outside. House was equipped with everything traveller could need: eg. A/C, fireplace, washing machine with dryer, totally equipped kitchen with new Miele machines. Everything was exceptionally clean, comfortable and cozy. Welcoming and contacting was friendly and fast. Balestrand was very central place to eg. drive sightseeing around Sogne fjord and visit Nayroy fjord and Boyabreen glacier. Balestrand was also good starting point to do long and short hiking tours. We could even start hiking directly from home. This was one of the best places we have ever visited by booking.com! Strong recommendation!

Everything is great! The location is awesome, close to Balestrand, but in a quite place. The house itself is very modern and cozy with everything you may need during your stay, plus the house has amazing view of the fjord. Finally, the check-in and check out processes were smooth as well as communication with the host. We had amazing time in this house!
