Peter was a genial host. The best coffee I've had for ages. I can't rate the cooked breakfast as I don't usually eat first thing, however, I am sure it would have been very good indeed. I am a smoker and my host was happy for me to smoke outside in the covered patio.

Wonderful host , great room that exceeded expectations with lovely en-suite, a silent fridge, fan and TV with Netflix, plus a fantastic breakfast. Couldn't ask for more from a B&B visit.
Just a short walk to the pleasant town centre for pubs and food too with a good sized supermarket on the way. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Located 10/15 minutes away from Alton Towers....Fantastic welcome from the owner Peter,arrived a little earlier than the time we said,but not a problem... room was lovely and clean and a large ensuite... had the option to use the lounge if wanted to,we didn't, but a lovely lounge if wanted to.... High street just around the corner where theys pubs,restaurants to eat and drink.We asked Peter for recommendations where to visi the morning we checked out, he suggested Buxton which is about 50 mins away, so we visited and was a very nice place, we even stayed there for the night and came home today, so thankyou Peter for the recommendation... Breakfast at Fairfield was excellent... would definitely stay again if visiting the erea again value for money... Thank you, Peter.

they thought of all the little things like having plugs and extension leads by the bed, having a mini fridge with water bottles. The bed was extremely comfortable, the bathroom was well equipped and spacious and there were plenty of mirrors. The breakfast was also delicious. Thank you.

Second time we have stayed here and it is just perfect for us for our trip to the races . The proprietors are so accommodating and welcoming . Room is perfect and the breakfast is fantastic . Will definitely book again next year if this little gem is available . Would highly recommend.

Couples at the property are lovely and take good care of people who check in. I have been here at 2019 for couple if days.... now in 2022 it is great that I get the same care and love.

The couple who run the place are very friendly and easy to chat to. Breakfast was gorgeous, room was clean, tidy and comfier than our own lol. Would definitely recommend and definitely stay again!

Lovely, clean and comfortable room with lots of extras, such as TV, mini fridge with water, tea and coffee making facilities. En suite bathroom was beautifully clean and had lots of added extras such as shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, packaged sponge. Breakfast was exceptional and very much set us up for the day. The host, Peter was also excellent. Very welcoming and helpful with local information.
