If you are a Harry Potter fan, this is your perfect accommodation. There are lots of details and effort in every single room. Everything is clean and beds are very comfortable. If we come back to Watford again, we will stay there for sure. Thank you Chris and Maria for making our stay so magical and special.

Everything was perfect

The stay exceeded our expectations! Booked as a surprise for my fiancé’s 30th birthday as I was taking him to the Harry Potter studios and thought this would make it extra special, which it really did and more! The hosts were amazing, gave quick responses and allowed me to customise the birthday package and add extra things on, for no trouble! The little details in the flat is absolutely incredible, to the bedding, the games, the lights, the toilet seat, the signs, cutlery, literally everything!! Two days here really was not long enough at all, wish the trip was longer! The flat is in such a convenient location, only 7 minutes to the studio tours! It’s close to supermarkets, clubs, cafes, restaurants, but not close enough to be a problem. Close to bus stops and Watford train station. The communication we had from the hosts as well regarding check-in was amazing, loved the details and especially the instructions with getting to the flat and how to get onto the drive safely. This was our home away from home, never felt so comfortable in a booking as we did here.

Absolutely nothing to improve, the stay was incredible and would stay again!

The place and location was spot on. Great set up for Harry potter world.

The bathroom came alive with hundreds of little spiders everywhere! Not nice when you need to get a shower and young children with you. Also the apartment above needs to buy themselves a new washing machine, as the noise from it we actually thought the roof was coming in and at twenty past ten at night this is not good. Especially when you have young children with you, who are in bed.

The bunk bed was a bit wobbly while the person on the top got down

Nice area, busy road, but not noisy. Was a 10min walk to main shopping centre which had plenty of restaurants etc.

The Harry Potter theming was brilliant, much better and more creative than we imagined! We kept it a surprise from the kids and they absolutely loved it. The beds were really comfy with great linen, it was nice and clean. The welcome biscuits were a lovely touch.

It was a bit short on amenities - no tea towels, only two dishwasher tabs, no baking paper, foil etc which would have made it a bit easier in a full kitchen set up. A really minor point in an overall great stay.

The upstairs neighbours’ washing machine must be touching some pipework as it vibrates all the pipes when they have a wash on

Beautifully decorated and themed ideally for Harry Potter fans! loved the candles over the dining table, and the cloud and stars effects that went with it. Absolutely Genius!!

Brilliant location for a stay after visiting the Harry Potter studio tour. The perfect place to keep the magic going after a magical day! Well equipped and filled with fun decorations and accessories. Close to shops and take aways, but in a quiet enough location, and with off street parking. We all loved our stay here and would not hesitate to recommend this place!

Our only comment here is that the door only opens from the outside with the key, so make sure you take it outside with you when loading your car, or you could get locked out! A mention of this would be useful! (Luckily someone was still inside to open the door when we found this out!)

We loved the extra details for our daughters birthday of banners and a birthday cake. Our children loved finding all the little harry potter themed items in the house as well.

We loved everything

Everything it was amazing how much detail went in to the place my kids were so excited by it all. Very clean and tidy. Would definitely recommend it to other people and my kids are already begging us to book again.

We loved the Harry Potter theme and the kids particularly enjoyed the DVDs of all 8 Harry Potter movies provided. They did a movie marathon of the 8 Harry Potter DVDs over 2 nights. The house was also clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and clean.

The apartment was pleasant to stay in. Every room had some level of Harry Potter decor, which was nice and authentic. The owners had gone to the trouble of putting up a Christmas tree which was a a nice touch alongside the complimentary mince pies. Overall, it was a decent.

Unfortunately, (to the fault of nobody or nothing but pure bad luck) there was a power cut which obviously put a little bit of a dampener on our stay. The power was off for a few hours but the owner did quickly try to help us the best he could in a fairly helpless situation. I disliked where it was located, on a really busy main road but that’s just my personal preference, I’d have preferred something a little less busy but again that’s my preference.

Beyond magical. So much effort has not only put into the decor, but also how comfy it is. The cake was an amazing touch, and the Christmas tree!! The heating was on when we arrived, so thoughtful!

Nothing! We loved everything. Only improvement we recommend is a light in the conservatory and outside.

The attention to detail was lovely. Lots of Harry Potter touches. Very clean and very comfortable.

Nice, clean and homely. Nice touches and my niece loved the cat in the living room. Close to Harry Potter studio and walking distance to the centre. The kids loved the bunk beds and being able to watch the harry potter films. They also loved the cake that was left for us. Highly recommended for families.

Bumping up the curb on a busy road was awkward. And the first night the flat above we could hear them walking around throughout the night.
